Loved this hotel, it’s so warm and cozy inside! Loved that they had a restaurant inside the hotel, very convenient. This place is so nicely decorated, will definitely be back!

A pretty good value for money option. Cozy room with a small walk-in closet. I liked the robe, but I missed the slippers. There was water in the room and excellent internet.

Characterful historic hotel very well located in Washington. Easy and friendly check in and out. Would recommend it

Although I was there in January, it was very warm in the room - I had the window open all night

It is an old heritage hotel, but extremely well maintained. It is located close to all attractions, nearest metro is about 7 minutes walk. There are lots of eateries around the place. Rooms are well lit and clean. Housekeeping is done on daily basis. Water dispenser is at the gym. The hotel also provides bottled water.

This was a nostalgic property, I felt like had stepped back in time when I walked in the building

I don't think that you can call it a kitchenette. A small fridge, a coffee maker and a sink doesn't qualify.

Very friendly staff on every front. The bed was super comfortable. Nice light in the room but also easily dark with curtains closed. Not a big lobby but the public spaces were still very clean and nicely decorated.

Only con was TV is quite dated with the resolution making it hard to even watch. But not a big concern on the scale of the hotel.

Old elevators and you never know if they go up / down when waiting on your floor.

well preserved facility, has a lot of character and offers a glimpse into Washington DC history, beautiful surroundings, very near Main roots around the capital very well centralized to different points of interest.

No complaints about the property. Front door greeting staff were awesome and helpful, staff throughout the facilities were professional. I would like to have seen the front desk personnel be a little bit more personable. During several interactions with no one behind me some of the staff individuals acted rushed and a bit un concerned with guests. It wasn’t too bad, just a bit more personal interest would make the experience even better.

Loved the old-world charm of the building. The room was cozy, suitable for a single traveller or a couple. The bathroom was clean and modern, with a dressing table and mirror just outside. There was a breakfast nook tucked away on the other side of the room. The staff is very friendly. The location is outstanding, within easy walking distance of all the main DC attractions. There is a wide variety of food options nearby - my personal favourites were the Founding Farmers and the food court at the Western Market opposite the hotel. Perfect for a weekend stay, or even a bit longer.

There was, on occasion, a strong smell of food in the corridors outside my room on the 5th floor, but it did not make its way inside the room.

The mattress was a little hard, so my neck and back hurt a little bit the next day. And I wish a complimentary breakfast was included at the Hotel.

I loved the historic vibe. I love how well it has been taken care of - very clean and tidy. I LOVED my room, and the beds and bedding were so high quality and comfortable! And the staff was excellent...warm and friendly and helpful.

The room is with ample space. In addition, there is a very graceful room for dressing, a very comfortable space for coffee and wine. Very nice.

Great location, in walking distance from the GW University, National Mall, Georgetown, White House etc. The room is comfortable and very clean. The hotel is vintage-style, but well maintained. Friendly personnel.

We had a kitchenette in the room that had nothing but a fridge. No plates, no silverware. The room coffee was bad. Little conveniences like tea or even creamer for the coffee were missing. It was disappointing from this point of view.

I love this hotel and its great location near restaurants and metro. Plus the area has a young and safe vibe. The staff are great and the hotel meets all our needs.

The new pillows are stiff.

This is a delight hotel, on the National Registery. Nice big room and bathroom, as was the norm in older hotels. I love them!

The staff were friendly and welcoming, from the lovely doorman that took our bags in and the great reception staff, to the cleaners saying hello in the hallway. The room was spacious, with a fabulous comfy bed! Location was great too!

The only negative is a squeaky elevator door right next to our room that we could hear at all hours.

Excellent former apartment hotel with original features intact but modern systems. Located at the edge of Foggy Bottom and the GWU campus. Excellent cocktail lounge and great barkeep.

The Executive Parkview room was a good size. The bed was very comfortable. Staff at the front door, front desk and housekeeping were nice. Room and common areas were clean. Location is a short walk to White House and 2.5 blocks to the Metro. Easy to walk to restaurants/bars. Hotel was quiet, couldn't hear noise from other rooms. The property is a former apartment building.

There weren't any amenities other than a restaurant and bar. But we didn't need anything else. Bar was expensive. We didn't eat in the restaurant.

The staff was excellent, especially mister Admasa . He always greeted everyone with a smile.And he was so helpful with our luggage.He went the extra mile. He always had an enthusiastic smile how many days we saw him. There is a nice cozy little bar there.And a very nice cafe with great service.

The bed was hard.I believe it was the box ring.It does need to be changed.It kind of crunches. I truly miss my bed at home because of this.

Hotel is close to city attractions—good staff, gave suggestions on nearby attractions. Will stay here again given its location.

Could use upgrades

They accomodated an early check in around 8am which we really appreciate it because was much needed after a long travel. Also upgraded us and the room was really spacious. Staff always smiling and ready to assist! The Location was 10/10.

The floor squeaks a lot when you walk and you can also hear the people above also like they were walking inside your room.
