The Graham Georgetown, Washington D.C.

The fact that you charge ($50) to check in a bit early, say 2 hours early is a giant negative. If the room is ready because it is already cleaned or if you can arrange to prioritize cleaning of that room, then that should be the policy. Considering that the lobby is not really appropriate for working and there is no business center type room, it was super difficult for my daughter to work the day of check in. A more generous policy would be better and would maske the hotel more money in the long run by encouraging repeat customesr.

The property is very very well located. The hotel is close to all the shopa, restaurants and stores. The decor is very pleasing, the staff are really welcoming and professional. It has an intimate feel. The hotel is neat, clean and nicely decorated. Our room was very comfortable and spacious. Our time there was really great.

They dine in room menu is very set. For example we wanted French fries but as they aren’t on the menu they can not do those. I wish they had a bit more flexibility. The cooling units were under performing we had to open a window to cool the room more.

The property was beautiful! Loved the rooftop restaurant. Service was exceptional everywhere and from everyone. The room was gorgeous.

The view from our room wasn’t fabulous but who cared? The room itself was so exquisite it more than made up for it. Valet parking is expensive so we used one of the garages that was steps away.

Friendly staff, great room and walking distance to the National Mall. There are also some great restaurants nearby.

The location was perfection. "Say Cheese" next door is a quaint wonderful spot for breakfast and lunch with an owner named Suzie, who is lovely. Netty at the hotel reception was kind and welcoming to my kids. Wheldon, the valet gent was helpful and kind. The staff made the experience incredible.

The central air is inconsistent and not well controlled. They did their best but the whole system needs a reno. Our room was so hot at one point we opened windows to let in 20 degree air. For some reason that was an issue 1 out of the 3 nights we were there.

Nice and quiet hotel in interesting location of the Washington - Georgetown, close to Kennedy Center.

Very nice bed and accoutrements in the room; We liked that pretty much everything was included except the bottle of Tequila. The street parking was much easier than we expected for being in the middle of Georgetown

Regarding the Hotel, and we have experienced my next comments at another hotel in DC also (I come here 5 to 6 times a year as a weekend getaway from Philly), we really dont like or understand why we are given a room that not only was on the rear of the hotel, but that also has the worst view out of the room windows. We were literally looking out at a construction site. Not knowing what your occupancy was that weekend, I'll ask if that was the best or only option for us? Were there other rooms, that even if they were on the rear, were on a higher floor that would offer some type of view?

The receptionists were rather unfriendly & surly. Netty was not welcoming or friendly—no smiles or please or thank you. The housekeeping service was unreliable—didn’t come some days. The central heating turned off at night & room was cold.

The location was a factor plus the historical building.

Nicely designed bathroom and amenities , i.e. Turkish bathrobes and slippers . The beds were comfortable and the complimentary beverages and snacks were a plus. Would have liked a microwave.

Gordon and the front desk staff were sensational. We were there to celebrate our anniversary, and they gave us the royal treatment throughout our stay. From start to finish, we were cloaked in luxury.

Great location, wonderful staff. Large rooms, nice amenities. Loved the king room with a separate sitting area with fold out couch. Beautiful historic building. Travelled with kids and it was perfect. I would l stay there again if visiting Georgetown.

The decor was not great, but we didn't choose it for that. The building is so beautiful and has great bones. I think there is a missed opportunity there, it could be fabulous - a gem.

My room at the Graham was perfect. Not only was it clean and comfortable, but it had everything you could possibly need in a hotel room; full-sized quality toiletries, iron, shoeshine kit, slippers, bedside water and a free mini bar and coffee station. There was Beethoven playing on the radio when I entered the room which was a very nice touch. The location is great as well; You could go for strolls by the river and there are many charming restaurants and hangout spots nearby.

I really liked the style of the the hotel. It was really clean and comfortable to stay at and location is perfect for access to shops and restaurants and especially the waterfront. Most importantly the staff were amazing.

Very noisy A/C at night which was impossible to switch off. We tried to solve it at 3am but at that time nobody was able to help us. We then asked for some compesation but did not receive any.
