Wedgewood Hotel & Spa, Vancouver

Location, staff and room (including bed comfort) were EXCELLENT.

Minor point, shower water pressure. I also don't think that a bar the quality of Bacchus should have a television playing. In my opinion it lowers the ambience substantially.

we were advised maintenance work would be happening at about 2pm-5pm unfortunately it started at 7:30AM!

This is an exceptional hotel. During our trip to Canada we stayed in a number of hotels and this was by far the best. Upon arrival greeted for check in by Ryan who unfortunately for us was not working when we checked out. Loved the evening cookies delivered to the room daily. Made our stay in Vancouver memorable.

This hotel was a wonderful 5 day retreat for myself and my family. The staff were exceptional, the food was to die for and the cocktails were perfection and the piano player in the lounge every evening was the perfect cherry on top of an already delightful stay.

Property was amazing as one would expect from a premium boutique hotel.

The staff went above and beyond to make the stay incredibly comfortable - including upgrading me! I would highly highly recommend this hotel - it's extremely cozy and well situated too!

Beautifully decorated property and wonderful welcome from staff. The dining room meal was excellent and we enjoyed the ambiance of live piano and singing. Breakfast was also delicious and all staff were friendly and attentive.

King bed in our room worn and dipped. The concave mattress unfortunately affected my partner’s strained back. The mattress in 603 requires replacement.

Everything about this hotel is top-notch! The staff and service were above and beyond and the dining experience at Bacchus was one of the best I’ve ever encountered.

There isn’t anything negative to say except that I wish we had booked a longer stay. Incredible experience!

What a remarkable staff! Rarely have I found such an enthusiastic welcome. Warm and with some humor, just charming! The room was well-appointed with a comfortable bed. We were there to celebrate my husband’s birthday and a card and small treat were in the room for us. Of course the bacchus lounge is famous and the brunch we had there was outstanding.

A lovely characterful hotel in a very central location, staff went out of their way to assist with everything. It was very welcoming and cosy.

nothing could have been done better, I don't know if some rooms are quieter than others, it is quite near the hospital and sirens could be heard at times but it didn't bother us.

We dined in the formal restaurant for dinner. The ambiance was great, the service excellent however the food did not make the mark. The prices are not low and we were fine with that for the occasion and comfort, however the food was not as good as other outside restaurants we ate at during our stay. EG. Short rib meat was not soft and did not fall apart. The potato gratin on my duck meal was hard and dry and overcooked. I felt like there was not enough care in the kitchen to make sure our meals were served in top condition. I expected much higher standard. We did not raise this on the night as it was our last night in Vancouver before we flew home to NZ and we were sharing the meal with our daughter and partner who live in BC and did not want to ruin the night by complaining.

The Wedgewood is in a fantastic location with wonderful 5 star service. We had a great stay and two great evening dinners in their restaurant. 5 stars all round for this lovely old fashioned Hotel and their staff. Don Gray.

Love this hotel ; have stayed a few times !! The room is very comfortable and Big !!! The bed is very comfortable ! It was drizzle rain ☔️ so we opted to eat meals at the Wedgewood ,, delicious ! Staff is amazingly friendly , professional , helpful ! Great location for walking anywhere !

This is a world-class hotel that provides all the services that you require. Our room was very large and included a desk, sofa and arm chair. The furnishings were top notch. The bed was very comfortable. There is a small bar area which includes a mini fridge, Nespresso coffee machine and kettle. Robes and slippers were available in the closet. Our room was serviced every morning and free ice was delivered in the late afternoon. We looked forward to some cookies left in the room when we returned in the evening. If you are flying, the hotel is located a few blocks from the Vancouver City Centre Skytrain station which gets you to the airport in about twenty minutes. Having stayed there previously we were not disappointed in our return. The cost is not cheap but it is worth it.

The property was spotless. The room was quiet and the beds were so comfortable.

Our flight was delayed and then one of our bags was also lost. We were able to text with the staff to keep them up to date on our arrival time and they were very empathetic and happy to have us once we finally arrived. Our jacuzzi suite was amazing and exactly what we needed after long travels and after being out in Vancouver all day exploring the sights. We ordered the room service breakfast, which was amazing! Highly recommend the Bacchus!
