Cool romantic vibe

Beautiful old-world style hotel. The mist stellar part, though, was the outstandingly helpful and kind staff.

The best hotel I have stayed in. From check in to drinks, everything was superb and seamless. The room was incredible, large, clean, beautiful decor and loved the welcome note, waters, biscuits and attention to detail. The staff were incredibly professional but super friendly and so helpful.

Didn’t like the steps in the foyer. We had to carry our luggage up the steps to the elevator.

Fantastic hotel, we loved our stay, the staff really made our stay a memorable one. They just go that extra mile for you. The location is great as well right in the centre of everything.

This is an exceptional hotel. During our trip to Canada we stayed in a number of hotels and this was by far the best. Upon arrival greeted for check in by Ryan who unfortunately for us was not working when we checked out. Loved the evening cookies delivered to the room daily. Made our stay in Vancouver memorable.

This hotel was a wonderful 5 day retreat for myself and my family. The staff were exceptional, the food was to die for and the cocktails were perfection and the piano player in the lounge every evening was the perfect cherry on top of an already delightful stay.

Property was amazing as one would expect from a premium boutique hotel.

Beautifully decorated property and wonderful welcome from staff. The dining room meal was excellent and we enjoyed the ambiance of live piano and singing. Breakfast was also delicious and all staff were friendly and attentive.

King bed in our room worn and dipped. The concave mattress unfortunately affected my partner’s strained back. The mattress in 603 requires replacement.

Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The facilities were top quality and our room was spacious and well equipped. The lobby and bar/restaurant are comfortable and cosy places to relax.

We very much enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay there again when we next return to Vancouver. We highly recommend.

Everything about this hotel is top-notch! The staff and service were above and beyond and the dining experience at Bacchus was one of the best I’ve ever encountered.

There isn’t anything negative to say except that I wish we had booked a longer stay. Incredible experience!

A lovely characterful hotel in a very central location, staff went out of their way to assist with everything. It was very welcoming and cosy.

nothing could have been done better, I don't know if some rooms are quieter than others, it is quite near the hospital and sirens could be heard at times but it didn't bother us.

The staff are amazing, they are very happy in role and make the extra effort to remember little details like where you have visited that day and engage with guests. Friendly and professional.

We dined in the formal restaurant for dinner.
The ambiance was great, the service excellent however the food did not make the mark. The prices are not low and we were fine with that for the occasion and comfort, however the food was not as good as other outside restaurants we ate at during our stay.
EG. Short rib meat was not soft and did not fall apart. The potato gratin on my duck meal was hard and dry and overcooked. I felt like there was not enough care in the kitchen to make sure our meals were served in top condition.
I expected much higher standard. We did not raise this on the night as it was our last night in Vancouver before we flew home to NZ and we were sharing the meal with our daughter and partner who live in BC and did not want to ruin the night by complaining.

Love this hotel ; have stayed a few times !! The room is very comfortable and Big !!! The bed is very comfortable ! It was drizzle rain ☔️ so we opted to eat meals at the Wedgewood ,, delicious ! Staff is amazingly friendly , professional , helpful ! Great location for walking anywhere !

The problem is not with my payment. This does not reflect the standards of a five-star hotel.
