Hotel Loden, Vancouver

Location, great staff and clean!

I thought the gym was way below standards.

The hotel is centrally located and adjacent to a decent restaurant. The rooms are of a decent size with a window which actually opens. What sets this hotel apart is its staff. Every employee we had contact with was exceptionally helpful and pleasant. There is also a very nice, clean fitness center.

There wasn't anything that I didn't like.

Everything. Great location - a 5-10 minute walk to the pier. Also a 10 minute walk to the cruise terminal. Beautiful facilities - our room was gorgeous with lovely views. We could see sea planes and cruise ships. Every member of staff was so friendly and helpful - I wish I could remember his name but the male on reception who checked us in was so lovely. The staff had sprinkled rose petals all over our room as we were celebrating our honeymoon and left us a bottle of Prosecco and some macarons. We also loved that the hotel has bikes to borrow to save on renting any. I loved every second of our time here, I didn’t want to go home.

The service from all the staff, security, and cleanliness were amazing!!!

I would have liked a breakfast included. The coffee and lemon water were very convenient. On the way to the airport at 6am, I would have enjoyed a croissant or muffin.

Staff was extremely nice and went out of their way to make us feel welcomed. Great location.

A bit dated but very comfortable. The food at the restaurant was good a bit expensive for what you get. Small portions more appetizer size

We chose The Loden as our home away from home to celebrate our 30th Wedding Anniversary in Vancouver, BC. We are so glad we did. The staff went above and beyond our expectations to help make our anniversary a very memorable event! We had a surprising and unexpected upgrade that elevated our experience. We were so enthralled with our stay we have recommended The Loden to family, friends, co-workers and anyone who enters our orbit. We look forward to the next time we can visit such a wonderful city and a use this fantastic hotel as our home base.

A superb facility in a marvelous location in Vancouver. Rooms are luxurious, amenities are top notch, and the staff are the most courteous and knowledgeable I have encountered in a very long time. The hotel’s bistro is a fantastic food spot.

Nothing to dislike, but it is a very pricey establishment, and costs can go up pretty quickly when you add services and taxes.

Upon arrival at 8:00AM from the ship, the cute girl at the desk met us out front and grabbed all of our luggage. Extremely friendly and accommodating staff! The room and bathroom was very high quality. Also, there is a great bistro next door with awesome steaks and onion soup! The location could not have been better!

One of the best experiences I’ve had in a hotel, if not the best!!! Gorgeous hotel, staff so attentive, friendly, helpful and efficient. Beds and pillows soooo comfortable!! I went to celebrate my birthday, and I had a surprise on arrival, and every day there was a new detail. Excellent location. Bikes are included, went to Stanley park for sunset and it was magical. Would definitely go back. And the restaurant downstairs is delicious, also great staff. I had breakfast there every day, and dinner twice.

We arrived without suitcases because the airline lost them. The staff of the hotel was very helpful with providing the necessary toiletries and even a bottle of wine to ease our inconvenience. Rest of the stay they kept informing about our suitcases (which we never got).

Price, seems crazy to pay double for a hotel because a concert is it town but I guess that’s just supply and demand.
