Hostal Antigua Morellana, Valencia

This property is amazing great location great staff and excellent value for money . The owners were the best I’ve ever stayed with . Very personal touch you would know this is a family business. Flight not till 11pm but left us leave our bags, use the bathrooms and facilities and called a taxi for us at 9.15pm . We will be back 😊

The best part of staying here was the location and the Staff. They were so friendly and helpful, They did everything with a smile. The other great thing was the location. It was near everything. The rooms themselves were very average but clean and good enough. The price was good too.

I loved everything with Hostal Antigua Morellana! The owners were very kind and let me check in a little earlier because I got sick on my way to Valencia. The lobby has a 90s feeling to it but it was charming. There you could get coffee, tea and other beverages (self service). Tea and pastries are for free, pastries coming from the bakery that is also owned by the family. The room was cute and clean, as well as the bathroom. Bathroom is equipped with hairdryer and basic shower gel/shampoo/soap. The bed was very comfortable and I slept like a baby. The location is perfect: in the middle of old town, so you have a walking distance to everything: restaurants, shopping, museums, etc. The front door is always locked and they only let guests in, which felt safe.

Immediate area is a bit run-down.. Can be noisy at times with trash collection.

It was such a friendly hotel , free pastries and tea and coffee for 1€. Super clean , bed very comfortable. This is a lovely family hotel in a v good location.. a few minutes from the market and the cathedral. Lots of cafes and restaurants around. Felt very safe 24/7 reception.

This hotel is in an excellent location - expect plenty of church bells and a sense of the hustle and bustle of everyday life outside. It is good value, clean and really welcoming. It does not come with all the modern convenience of chain hotels, but this departure adds to its character. The staff were very helpful and friendly

For the cost and location, nothing

The location was right down in center of market area. The staff were very friendly. I did not expect this friendly of staff from a hostel. The room was comfortable and quiet. There is an elevator and the cleaning staff were friendly. I would stay at this hostel again.

Everything. Its a family business. They love their beautiful city and are very proud of what they do. Real pleasure to meet that kind of people. Location very central, easy to find from central market. Beautiful area, plenty restaurants nearby and bus 32 takes you to beach in 30 mins and costs only 1.50€. Great staff veery helpful, great cervise. We felt like staying at a very good hotel.

The hotel is in the center of the city. Rooms are very clean. But mostly it was the helpful staff that made our stay wonderful

The location is excellent. The staff is friendly and ready to help with explanations about the city tour. The cleanliness is excellent. We had a small room, but quite enough for the time we spent in it. It had everything necessary for a few days' stay.

Family run atmosphere, operated by 4 sisters who went out of their way to make you feel welcome. Rooms scrupulously clean and had every thing required. Bathroom spotless and bed very comfortable. Family very proud of Valencia and spend time suggesting places to see and do. Hotel in middle of old Town so brilliant for walking and exploring

Pleasant family run small hotel. (Hostal is in the name but this doesn't feel like your typical hostal with people milling about in a central lobby). Quiet, private, comfortable, and very safe with a gated door that stays locked. Great location. Lovely stay for a short visit to this beautiful city. Comfortable bed, window that opens.
