Hospes Palau De La Mar, Valencia

The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and kind and gave us a wonderful experience. A beautiful room and terrace, we also enjoyed using the spa facilities to relax after a hot day of sightseeing. The range of food at breakfast was also phenomenal. We would 100% return to this hotel if we came back to Valencia - thank you so much!

The bathroom smelled and appeared to have mold growth. The room was loud, one of the pairs of doors was misaligned and didn't properly shut, so it did not block sound.

We liked the location. The staff couldn’t do enough for you. Breakfast was relaxing and delicious. The bar area and outside eating was relaxing and comfortable.

This is such a beautiful hotel, the staff are incredibly helpful and friendly, every part of the hotel is spotless and stylish and this includes the rooms.

The location of the hotel was fantastic and so too was the staff

On arrival the safe and coffee machine in our room was not working.

Staff are brilliant, eager to please and engaging.

Exeptional in having so many gluten free options in the restaurant, but overall was underwhelmed by the menu and overwhelmed by high prices.

The spa facilities were closed for most of our stay; the bathroom design & facilities were a little dated; the food in the restaurant was very good but a little overpriced compared with other outside restaurants of similar standard; more could be made of the outside garden area

Staff are so friendly, the room is spacious and the toilet is great with bathtub. This my first time in this hotel and I will definitely recommend it to anyone coming to Valencia

The design of the bathroom was poor, not enough space for our cosmetics and only toothbrushes & tissues supplied - no bath hat, cotton wool pads, cotton buds, nail file etc

Excellent location, close to the park, bars, etc. Good breakfast. Nice and larger bathroom. I liked chocolate every evening. Nice gesture.

Gym was too dense and small. Staff going through it all the time with carts. You can train but it's not as comfortable. For 5* hotel i was expecting a bigger room. It was comparable to the bathroom in space.

Room was dark and had two bathrooms one with shower and toilet but no sink the other with bath/shower and sink. Strange layout meant room felt crowded. No view but large opening doors - no patio. Staff were wonderful. Small outside space nice to sit in

Very friendly and helpful staff. The rooms were spacious but didn’t have a lot of closet space.

We were in a room on the ground floor facing the inner courtyard and there is no daylight at all, it was always dark and we needed to put the lamps on at all times. This should have been noted when booking the room. For a 5 star hotel there were basically no bathroom amenities, no shower cap, no hand or body cream.

The spa treatments were amazing and the room and facility's very comfortable and high quality. We really enjoyed the whole stay

Amazing hotel, clean with very attentive staff. Spa was relaxing and clean. Rooms were clean and bedding and towels changed daily. Breakfast was delicious with a good selection of cooked hot food, continental style, fresh fruit and pastries. We opted for the cooked breakfast from the menu each day. Great location with a nearby metro and some great family run Spanish restaurants

Friendly people, well converted property, generous room and bathroom, great location to walk into the old town, the Turia garden, and down to the arts and sciences cultural complex. (In fact all the way to the sea.) Fine restaurant.

Front street-facing room a bit noisy from the street, and a bit light with curtains that didn't close with an overlap.
