Great location. Both guys on reception were lovely, very helpful. We could book trip tickets and taxis. Nice relaxed atmosphere. Perfect breakfast fruit yogurt pastries. Bacon eggs meats cheese bread juice all good quality. Lady always pleasant helpful and efficient . Good shower and comfy bed

The bathroom smell was not good . But we did find this in other bars and on the streets too. The bathroom was lovely and clean.

It was a great location near to the historic part of Valencia, 6 min walk from Catredral , very near to Asturian Resturant , shops and plaza con fuentes.
Also , near to other tourist attractions by autobus , such as Les Artes , Ciencas Museo y Oceanographica.

The hotel is in a quite excellent location in the old city.
There is a nice size bathroom with a bidet.
I wish there had been more towel hooks to hand towels. Other than that - no complaints.

Perfect location for visiting a lot of sites, either walking or buses. Shower was good.

We were a party of 5, two of us had a problem with the mattresses and the flush in the toilet kept sticking, but that is a common problem in Spain. I would not have wanted to pay more for the room, so a fair price for what was there.
We all found the breakfast disappointing.

What I didn’t like about the hotel. First, we booked a room for three people, and the third bed was a fold-out one. It was a normal size, but it was built like a cabinet. On top of this cabinet-like structure, I wanted to put something, and it turned out there was at least a centimeter of dust there. That was a very unpleasant surprise.

Second, the toilet flush didn’t work. I had to take it apart, flush it manually, and then put it back together each time. It’s not a huge problem — it can be fixed — but someone just needs to care enough to check what isn’t working in the hotel.

A perfect location between the old town, the gardens and easy access to the marina / beach. Much character in the building. Very quiet and peaceful area - moments from the busier tourist streets. A very short walk to local restaurants, bars etc. Good wifi (for working from the room), friendly staff (good with recommendations...) and great value. One to remember for future visits.

Breakfast was on the basic side, although provided all the usuals and the coffee was very good. Being an old building, there is only one small lift... but these are minor details.

The style is a bit more traditional, so if you prefer something modern, this might not be the best fit for you. But overall, it was a warm and welcoming experi

We really enjoyed the location and the breakfast. We also liked the fact that it was in an historuc building nad m ain of the vintage elements were preserved.

The shower tiles seem to be falling off and the walls between rooms seemed to be quite thin as we could hear the girls in the next room giggling and talking late into the night.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The rum was clean and cosy decorated. Breakfast was good and good variety.
The hotel is laying in the old centrum, so very easy to walk around and se the highlights of Valencia.
I will definitely return to this hotel and Valencia.

I had a truly lovely stay at Hotel AdHoc Monumental in Valencia. The location couldn’t be better - right in the heart of the city, with all major attractions just a few minutes’ walk away. Whether it was exploring the Old Town, enjoying the vibrant plazas, or finding excellent places to eat nearby, everything was incredibly convenient.

The hotel itself has a beautiful old-world charm with tastefully done rooms that reflect the character of the building. What truly stood out, though, was the exceptional hospitality from the front desk staff.

From the moment I made my booking, Angelo was quick to respond to my query - a reassuring start. Upon arrival, I received a warm welcome from Roberto, who not only made the check-in seamless but also gave me excellent tips to explore the city like a local. Mirko was incredibly helpful in figuring out my bus and train options for onward travel, and Nico came to my rescue at midnight when I realised there were no towels in the room - he sorted it without hesitation. I might be missing a name or two, but every person I interacted with at the front desk was friendly, helpful, and genuinely committed to making the guests feel comfortable.

The only minor issue was with the housekeeping staff on my floor - they were quite loud while chatting and it went on for a really long time, at least a couple of hours. It felt like they had a lot of free time and were using the guest floors as a hangout space. It would be great if the hotel could provide them with a dedicated break area to avoid disturbing guests who might be resting. That said, it didn’t overshadow the overall experience.

Great location! Charming European feel! Super helpful front desk. Helped with bike rentals, restaurants & taxi to airport. Lovely breakfast! Would definitely stay again & highly recommend!

The pillows weren’t great. The shampoo/ shower gel comes in little packets and these aren’t replenished so don’t use them all on your first day

Loved the old building, original features in the room such as the old beams in the ceiling, and also the artwork.

It would have been great to have a mini fridge in the room with cold water.

The hotel was situated a few corners away from the main attractions of the old town as well as the park, however was lovely and quiet. The room was spacious, had lots of character and most importantly a kettle! The reception staff were also very friendly and helpful!

Shawer floor is slippery, no soap holder, no towel holders, little bags of body and shampoo gels were provided however no place in shawer to put them. Shawer tiles showed mold. No luggage holders, we had to use chairs which limit seating. Close mirror doors is difficult to open. Needs a knob. No refrigerator. No microwave.

Excellent location, close to everything, comfortable, quiet part of town and nicely decorated. Helpful staff and easy check in.

Great location on the edge of El Carmen district and only 5 minutes walk to the cathedral. Lovely old building in a quiet street. We had a top floor room with a terrace and although the mixed weather and short stay meant we didn't make use of it, it provided natural light and ventilation.

The smell in the bathroom, mentioned in several reviews, was pretty overpowering when we first arrived, and remained throughout our 2 night stay. It resembled rotten eggs or sulphur. We didn't mention it to reception as it was also in the hotel lobby so there's clearly a wider sewerage issue. Given the room price it should be resolved.

This place does everything right. All the functional basics, good friendly staff, clean, and awesome to have restaurant/ wine bar attached. I plan to stay here again.

Wifi was weak at times. Bathroom soaps tiny.

I liked the traditional building and room eg proper key rather than key card. The continental breakfast was tasty with a wide variety of food on offer.

The receptionist on duty when I arrived wasn’t at all welcoming. Same when I interacted her that evening. I don’t think she knows how to smile! Not a good first impression on my first day in Valencia.
The gentleman on duty next morning was much better - interacting in the way I would expect.

The only reason it wasn’t a higher mark was the cleaning staff - there were marks on the bed sheet (not made by me) and they didn’t change them. Also dusty side tables and the dirty cups weren’t replaced
