The Capitol hotel is a fabulous play to stay in the heart of Tokyo… The room was spacious, very comfortable and the staff serviced it every day.. Also, importantly to us was the hotel has one of the better gym and pool facilities of any hotel we have stayed at… Five stars all round…. Very happy with everything….

Beautiful hotel with staff that impressed. Everything you needed was set out in our room with so many electronic gadgets to make things easier and comfortable. Views were great, location convenient to subway stations, eating areas, shops and parks.

We chose The Capitol Hotel for our first stay in Tokyo and we're so glad we did. It's a large hotel that offers real warmth and wonderful service. Our room was large and comfortable with a fantastic view towards the north of the city. The location of the hotel is exceptional, directly serviced by more than one subway line. It was so easy to navigate our way around the city from here.

The hotel was what I expected, functional, clean for a large hotel. Gym was very good for a hotel gym.

no bar as such for a quiet drink. The only bar available was dark and small with bar sitting only, with emphasis on a large room with great views and seating for smoking guests!

Amazing service, allowing us to check in early and arranging our bags to the room - beautiful room with amazing room service/ wind down services that was honestly hard to leave some days. Lots of amenities like gym, pool and a 7/11 in the basement is a great to have. Staff are polite and speak great english - always greeting us and helping if needed, my girlfriend needed a transformer for a UK hairdryer and they brought a large one up to the room within 5 minutes.

Reservation in Restaurants a bit odd. Even 2 months before date, no seat was available at the Sushi bar. But at that evening, the bar was not full. - Second: When we wanted to eat at Origami Restaurant, we were told it was full, but only have the tables were occupied. Very strange.

We have stayed in many 5star hotels around the world and can hand on heart say this is the best hotel we’ve stayed at. From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable, staff friendly, room amenities, turn down service etc - everything was perfect!

My spouse and I were coming off a long work trip across Asia, and this was our final stop—a chance to truly relax and reconnect. The staff ensured we didn’t have to think about a thing except enjoying ourselves, seamlessly anticipating our needs at every turn. From the door staff hailing taxis (even though a Tokyo Metro station is just one floor down) to the meticulous housekeeping and exceptional concierge services, every interaction was marked by professionalism and care.

The hotel itself is an architectural marvel; every corner feels intentional and designed to inspire. You could easily spend an entire day exploring its serene beauty and the thoughtful amenities it offers. This is, without question, the most impressive hotel I’ve ever experienced.

At first, I was surprised to notice staff accompanying us nearly everywhere, but I soon recognized it as a thoughtful courtesy.

Everything was flawless. We intended to use the gym, as all of the equipment was new but ended up going out for long walks instead. We stayed on an executive floor and were blown away by the service, food, drinks, and mostly the amazing staff. We will be back.

That we didn’t live there full time

If you want to experience a traditional ryokan but with tasteful modern additions definitely come here. It’s absolutely delightful and the owners have gone to great lengths to make it comfortable and hospitable. We loved our stay here and felt we got a taste of traditional Japanese style living.

The location to the subway, the hospitality and size/style of room, as well as the view of the city scape which was quintessential Tokyo at its finest - thank you for an unforgettable experience.

There isn’t anything to mention - but save your pennies, it’s worth what you pay but is in no way cheap.

Just to comment but as by no means a complaint in anyway - it would have been nice to be able to pay for access to the hotels club lounge (I didn’t realise you had to do this as part of the room type booking you make at the time of booking), but I respect the policy of the hotel completely.

The Location and the view were perfect!

The bar with non smoking area was restricted, also with lower ground with no view was a bit of a shame.

Everything was excellent. The hotel is beautifully designed, well maintained, excellent facilities and very peaceful. The rooms are large and well appointed and very quiet.
A handy location on top of many Metro lines.
We will definitely return .
