I like the size of the room and the water pressure in the shower and the hot water was very nice in the staff were extremely nice

The bed was hard as a rock and not comfortable at all plus, the hotel is kind of out of the way, and not many restaurants near the hotel to choose from. Also, the Japanese restaurant in the basement I could never find it. Pour instructions on how to get there.

Gym only accessible via a separate lift across the lobby. The gym is in the basement and quite dated. The lift which also also leads to different floors of the mall stops at several floors and is quite slow. Swimming pool on rooftop is nice but lacks a bar for refreshments.

The receptionist doesn’t explain anything, we don’t know where to access the room and we don’t know where the breakfast or facilities are. The Breakfast is in a big hall nobody care of you, buffet with different queue, the food is not match the style of the hotel

The front desk and CONCIERGE desk have almost no one that can handle basic things in English - like please order a car, please store my luggage, where is this restaurant (it turns out it was on the lower mall floor of the hotel, and they could nto explain this). I do not expect fluency, but for a high end hotel, it was surprising.

Everything. The location, the facilities, the staff, the breakfast, the spa. It’s a very lively place in the middle of everything with people coming and going everywhere. It felt like I was staying in a palace.

The moment you arrive at the hotel door you are warmly received by all the staff. Very clean rooms, friendly staff, many choices of restaurants, convenient transportation and rich shopping environment. I will definitely stay here again when I come to Taipei in the future.

A little run down in the bathroom

The room was beautiful, and the extra amenities of bottled water was appreciated after a long flight. The location is great for shopping and finding what the locals like to eat. We tried the lunch buffet and was amazed at the selection and the quality of the food. if we had stayed longer which we will in the future we will definitely try some other amenities that the hotel has to offer.

We did not find any faults or dislikes of the hotel.

As a new comer in Taiwan, I requested for a pick up from the hotel as I am a lone traveller to ensure my safety. But the request was turned down. This refusal leads me think about why I should pay for a prestige hotel! Besides, the breakfast serving on the 19/F was also a waste. The hardworking staff there tried very hard to serve every customer which only counted within ten persons. But you can image how they were rushing around to serve everyone despite the fact that there are plenty of food in the buffet breakfast downstairs. If we consider to save the planet, there is no reason why we should separate the breakfast even I pay I little more to stay on the 19/F. Personal service could well be done downstairs or in the room.

Location is great, very central to shopping, sites and restaurants

The hotel is definitely showing its age, very dark hallways and beds are not that comfortable. Service was also inconsistent with some of the hotel staff being friendly to some being completely ignorant.

We booked a King Deluxe room, which is spacious and the toilet is clean. Surprisingly our room had a spectacular view of Taipei 101 with fireworks at midnight in New Year. Good location with lots of shops and restaurants nearby. Staffs were polite and helpful.

Mosquitoes were found at the changing room next to the swimming pool. Also the changing room is small and old. Renovation should be seriously considered.

Location of the fitness centre. Very difficult& no assistance when attending fitness facility. Treated like a nobody at the fitness centre. Thought we would get some sort of priority.

Great services! Asked for a travel adapter and got one immediately. Food is superb as well and hotel is beautiful.

I used to visit Taiwan 2-3 times a year, usually stay at Taipei Regent because of the lavish breakfast! Moreover, the rooms are very spacious and location is very good.

The lift lobby and floor corridors are a bit dim, the marbles of bath room are aging, need to do something to revitalise the marbles.

The hallways and rooms were calm and soothing. The bathroom was spa like. The Christmas decorations were cheerful. The staff was helpful and welcoming.

Like the size of the room and since we upgraded we had a corner room at the 17.th floor so the view was magnificent. Excellent breakfast and friendly staff

The aircon made our room either freezing cold or greenhouse warm. Some how we always to turn on the sign we didn't want cleaning so we didn't get our room clean for days - should be another option that a lightswitch for that

Wonderful stay. Quite surprised about the quality of the hotel, from the room, the facility, the breakfast, and the staff. The price definitely is not cheap but the experience precious. Swim lovers should visit the nice pool with outdoor movie.
