trendy hotel in a great area
very trendy, nicely decorated,
we had a few issues with the electrics, this kept us up at night trying to resolve it. (tvs and lights coming on without warning)
the bar closes at 5:30pm, bit early for a hotel bar

Location is closed to many shops and restaurants.
The food at the breakfast was not fresh and quality.

Overall a very good stay
Good breakfast, nice rain shower, smart toilet and the nespresso machine in the room. Bed was comfortable.
Heating didn’t work in the room (but not a big issue, we just wore a robe or jacket or be under the duvet)

emphasis on design and formality over warmth and charm
not too far not too close to metro. comfortable linen.
No gym, spa, or helpful concierge. Feels like a business hotel for foreigners.

Nice hotel with interesting decorations
I like the size of the hotel, a boutique hotel with nicely decorated lobby, just short walk to the front desk and the elevators. Rooms are decorated with interesting, modern furniture. The front desk staff is always friendly and helpful.
The wifi was weak and lost wifi a few times, albeit for a very brief period Room cleaning could be improved.

Nice hotel with nice rooms, great front desk staff who speak excellent English.
Excellent front desk staff. Had some misunderstandings with the reservation and the hotel worked with Booking and me to clear it up in my favor.
Room decoration was nice. I asked for a quiet room and was provided one.
No gym. Found a gym within walking distance though. A bit of walk to major shopping areas e.g., Taipei 101 area (about 20-30 minutes) so have to taxi or public transportation if not in the mood to walk or pressed for time.

Excellent 5-night stay in Taipei's Da'an area.
Room was spacious and quiet, the bed was very comfortable, the hotel is located centrally and near 2 metro stations. Breakfast was good too. The room I stayed in had nice views too.
Minor gripe this, but there probably should hv been a proper enclosure or door separating the shower from the bathroom, so that one won't wet the bathroom floor when/after one's shower.

Pretty good hotel with a bit of art/design/craziness
The hotel is a bit crazy, a design/art/boutique hotel trying to attract your attention. Strange plastic sculptures, crazy room equipment combining high-tech and nonsense like glass-walled wardrobe. I have visited the hotel just before Christmas, so there was a lot of gaudy Christmas decorations and the poor employees were dressed as Santa's elves.
But apart of that craziness it is in fact a pretty good hotel, cozy, well equipped, in excellent location, and with a very good and rich breakfast. Also Wi-Fi worked flawlessly. If you want to try for a change something else than the usual standard-style hotel without a personality, I can only recommend this one.
The only little detail was that not all employees speak reasonable English, the communication with some of them was a bit shaky.

Used to be even better
as usual the location is great and staff is friendly.
a lot of the little things that used to make the hotel special is gone - even the smell of the hotel has changed. The hotel is also starting to show wear and tear. It is still a lovely hotel but some of the magic is lost. probably sue to covid cost cutting.

Great location!
Our room had a nice view and the hotel is very centrally located, walking distance to Taipei 101 (around 15min). Very close to a subway station that allows you to move easily across the city.
We would have like slightly more spacious room.
