Ace Hotel, Sydney

We arrived early from Victoria and dropped our bags off and freshened up before exploring Sydney. The Ace Hotel is in a great location close to central station and just south of the ANZAC memorial and Hyde Park. During our stay we walked to restaurants in Surrey Hills and Paddington, to the NSW Art Gallery, botanical gardens and city centre, circular quay and Sydney Opera House. The bar area at the Ace Hotel is an excellent place to Catch up with friends and relax. Breakfast at the back of the hotel was great quality and reasonably priced. This is our third stay at the Ace Hotel in Sydney.

We did not like leaving! However, when our flights back to Melbourne were cancelled we were able to stay another night at a reasonable rate!

Wonderful hotel in the middle of Sydney CBD with a stellar view from upper floors. Did not use the bars / restaurant this time around but they were busy which probably indicates they are worth a visit!

Rooms had nice separate toilet to shower, but toilets didn't have a door that went all the way from ceiling to floor. Fine if you're travelling with a partner, but might not be great if you're sharing with a friend!

Really comfortable bed provided a good nights sleep, the temperature control really added to the overall comfortable environment. The room was well appointed, and plenty of amenities to help our stay. The room was cleaned immaculately every day. Staff were kind curteous and couldnt do enough for us. A top top recommendation

AMAZING… this was our third stay here and it won’t be our last. The staff are incredible and go above and beyond to make your stay special. The beds are big and comfy. The lobby bar is an added bonus. Especially fun on the weekends. Great location within easy walking distance to the city.

The rooms were lovely, with high ceilings and comfy lounge. Great style!

Amazing stylish new hotel in Surry Hills. Lively vibe in the lobby with several options (bar with dj in the afternoon, restaurant and casual cafe). Fantastic restaurant on the 18th floor.

Check-in could have been friendlier and more informative.

Room small - bathroom was strange configuration. Vanity in main room toilet separate to a shower room. No overhead lighting in toilet or shower only strip lighting - making ng it too dark

The bed was so comfortable and the blackout curtains were fantastic. The staff were always friendly and helpful. As a Sydneysider myself, the location is the perfect place to stay in Sydney!

The room service website didn’t include the casual cafe, Good Chemistry, downstairs. Sometimes I just wanted a small breakfast snack.

Location, easy to walk to most places though not right smack in the middle of the city.

Felt a bit “cool” in terms of staff and the customer service. Also, the room was TINY and for the price it didn’t match. It was about $50 cheaper than where I usually stay and that was on sale but the size was sooo much smaller. Amazing views though.

No good coffee in room. Would love a Nespresso or similar machine in the room to have a coffee without having to get up and dressed and go downstairs...
