Ace Hotel, Sydney

We were well taken care of at the hotel. The room was amazing, and the food at Kiln was excellent!

Location was fantastic, food, bed and facility was all really great, I enjoyed my stay.

Could we have two shower head options for us people with long hair.

I really enjoyed my stay at Ace Hotel Sydney. The location is excellent, and the F&B options within the hotel are a standout, especially the restaurant on the 18th floor and the bar—both offering a great atmosphere, delicious food, and drinks. The young guy at reception who checked me in was absolutely fantastic—super friendly, welcoming, and exactly the kind of person you want to see in hospitality. More staff like him would make a big difference!

However, there are some areas that need improvement. The lighting in the room was insufficient, particularly in the bathroom, toilet, and wardrobe area where the mirror is—it was way too dim, making it difficult to get ready. Also, the room itself was extremely small, barely enough space even for one person.

Would highly recommend and wouldn't hesitate to book again. Beds were super comfortable, central location, all in all a great hotel.

The fridge designed to attach to the cabinet door, somehow it didn’t close correctly so the fridge couldn’t freeze…

After a small hiccup in our check in process, manager went above and beyond including a complimentary ungraded room, and drinks. Much more than we would expect in such a situation.

Wow factor +. Funky cool vibes with the incredible convenience of a great bar and two restaurants on site. That and a 6 minute Uber ride to our venue - loved it.

No conspire carpark nor drop off zone. Comes with the inner city location of course. But it was pure luck we got a carpark on a busy weekend. Would have been a spoiler if we had not.

In-house cafe and restaurant were exceptional. Great location.

As a design buff and music lover, I loved the unique features like art work everywhere, record players, radios and guitars in the rooms, concrete ceilings, comfy 70’s style chairs etc. I’ve never been in a hotel that had such a pumping lobby on a weekend! Dj sets and a good crowd made it exciting and you really didn’t need to leave the bar for a god time!

I would’ve liked every room to have a record player. I requested a room with one and was told our room had one but it didn’t.

Great location, cosy and comfortable and stylish rooms, great atmosphere in the lobby bar area - a nice place to spend time.

Taking train from airport, exit at Museum station, just a 5 min walk to hotel. Clean facilities, comfortable bed

Lighting in the bathroom area was dark, the privacy of an enclosed bathroom was not there. You had to dry in the shower area and use the toilet in another side of the open bathroom

Great location, impeccable rooms and you can’t help but notice the excellent service. Really like the more modern twists compared to larger hotel groups, have stayed here numerous times.

Location was great. Rooms were great.The property was fantastic. Most of the staff were friendly. Beds were very comfy. I enjoyed my stay.

The rooms needed a little more attention to cleanliness as the toilet door had splash marks over the glass.

After a 24 hour journey this was exactly what I needed. Cosy and comfortable with welcoming staff. Loved the shampoo/conditioner etc. and the robe, steamer etc. were a great addition!

My room was pretty small with no where to put my luggage at all, which I guess is what I paid for, but a luggage rack or something would have been great. It was also really incredibly dark, especially in the shower and toilet which was really frustrating whilst trying to beat jet lag.

Such a cool hotel in a great location in the city. Good facilities, lovely drinks and delicious food. Staff were beyond helpful - couldn’t ask for much more. Everything we needed was there or available upon request. Can’t recommend this place enough!

Ace Hotel Sydney is one of the best hotels we’ve experienced in Sydney. We’ve stayed twice, and both visits have been amazing . The staff are outstanding, the facilities are excellent, and the interior design truly sets it apart from other hotels in Sydney. During our second stay, we encountered an issue with our room, but a staff member, Pablo, handled it professionally and with great care, making our overall experience and comfort.
