Ace Hotel, Sydney

Glorious. Vibes everywhere. Room’s are fun with a record play and records to play. Excellent location in the CBD. Walking distance to Surry Hills, darlinghurst and Paddington. Smells nice. Great coffee down stairs. DJs on a Friday. If you can get access to their Black Friday sales- grab them and stay.

Incredibly comfortable, the bed was fantastic, the bathroom was great, the cafe and restaurant were great and the staff were brilliant.

Whilst it's been upgrades to be accessible, it was still a struggle for elderly grandmother in the foyer. Everything else was amazing though. Id be back with my partner whenever I am in Sydney. Again, staff were amazing.

Comfy and chic. The lobby is great for happy hour drinks in the afternoon. Staff were super friendly and polite.

A light from the aircon was super bright when you turn the lights off at night time but that is really pushing it to find something not to like about this place.

The wifi was average and since I was working on my trip - it was a little frustrating.

I surprised my with with a weekend trip for her birthday and we were lucky enough to be put on one if the top floors. The view made it that much better.

If im being picky the wifi password wouldnt work for us but was no big deal at all.

Being able to have our dog to stay with us while travelling. Separate toilet fantastic. Shower water pressure and temperature fantastic . Great lighting in shower and loved it being separate and enclosed so water contained. Bed, doona and pillows super comfortable.

How loud music and bar noise was in foyer while trying to check in, but quieter once moved around to Lift and quiet in room which was fantastic

Gorgeous hotel, conveniently located, lovely staff. Highly recommend. Huge windows. Fun wooden key card. Great café downstairs, fine dining upstairs. Lots of storage. Super impressed.

Rooms were a bit dimly lit. Had to use the light from the window to do my makeup.

The staff were so attentive, helpful, and kind. The vibe and the common spaces are really inviting.

Really happy. The toilet and shower are quite dark, and there is lotion but no soap by the sink. Maybe a bit more strange than issues. For those on business travel, there was no desk in the room. We didn't need that so for a weekend away, it was perfect.

The pet charge is quite a lot. Appreciate that you get the bowls and food and dog bed, but I would prefer none of that and not the $120 charge

This is quite a dark hotel, and the lighting in the room is confusing. Turning one set of 'mood ' lights off turns others on! Everything else was great.

Service was exceptional! From reception to housekeeping and hospitality - it was all professional and helpful. The rooms are the perfect blend of style and comfort

Great friendly helpful staff. Rooms well appointed, clean, and beds are super comfortable. Good soundproofing, and block out drapes. Nice to have the kimonos in the room. Good location, easy to get around Sydney by train and bus from here. Great bar and resturant. Has a terrific vibe.

Not a lot, if anything the bathroom was a bit dark (not well lit), but it was fine.

Staying at Ace Hotel had been on my bucket list for a long time, and it absolutely lived up to my expectations. The hotel itself is very stylish and trendy, but what really made our stay special was the warm hospitality from the staff. Even though they seemed very busy, the reception staff were always kind and welcoming. I especially appreciated the staff member who kindly checked the stock room twice to help me look for my jumper. Thank you again for your help. The room was beautifully designed and very comfortable. The food and drinks were also really nice — particularly breakfast at Loam. The French toast was amazing and I will miss it very soon. The waiting staff also seated us at a lovely corner table where we could enjoy the atmosphere of the whole floor. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would love to come back again someday.

Roof top restaurant - overpriced and terrible lounge seating. Staff inattentive. Had to repeatedly follow up order. Room information promoted $2 oysters; but reality was $7 .
