Hard to read signs in the hotel. Too dark to see things clearly. Couldnt turn off all the lights in the room- even the staff couldnt turn all of them offf either. Broken chair in room

Staying at Ace Hotel had been on my bucket list for a long time, and it absolutely lived up to my expectations. The hotel itself is very stylish and trendy, but what really made our stay special was the warm hospitality from the staff. Even though they seemed very busy, the reception staff were always kind and welcoming. I especially appreciated the staff member who kindly checked the stock room twice to help me look for my jumper. Thank you again for your help. The room was beautifully designed and very comfortable. The food and drinks were also really nice — particularly breakfast at Loam. The French toast was amazing and I will miss it very soon. The waiting staff also seated us at a lovely corner table where we could enjoy the atmosphere of the whole floor. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would love to come back again someday.

Roof top restaurant - overpriced and terrible lounge seating. Staff inattentive. Had to repeatedly follow up order. Room information promoted $2 oysters; but reality was $7 .

They were very low on merch and I would’ve bought a tote and a t shirt but they didn’t have any

Good location. Not too far from light rail, train stations and bus stop just outside the hotel. Many options for eating. Very convenient and cool room.

I wasn' quite sure about the small room but the position of the palce was great and it was very unique.

The hotel was beautiful, the bed was comfy, and the staff were friendly.

Very good accessible bathroom. Staff very helpful and friendly. Kiln restaurant offers great views but rather expensive food. Loam downstairs offered good breakfasts and good value.

Bedroom doors were hard to open and enter in wheelchair. Lift door closed very quickly. The electric jug in room had a European plug be took all day to get another jug! Lighting system was hard to work out initially, lots of lights with different switches. The hotel is located incorrectly on google maps used by 13 cab drivers. 2 drivers went to wrong location and my daughter had to redirect one driver taking us to Opera House. Best to get hotel staff to order taxi for you. Someone should alert google maps. Had to get out of wheelchair to access footpath to entrance of hotel. Curb very steep. If someone not able to do this no access for wheelchair users.

Excellent location, friendly staff, fabulous food, could not fault this place.

Great basic breakfast at Good Chemistry

My only gripe is the only accessible entrance is via the bar/restaurant area, which is very busy and loud in the evenings and not great if you have a baby in a pram, as they will certainly be woken up. It also makes checking in a bit of a hassle for people mobility constraints.

The style ( those vinyls which you can play at your room!), the attitude ( DJ at the bar) and breakfast! There is no breakfast buffe, you have to come and choose from excellent breakfast menu. Or, if you want - go explore other excellent breakfast places nearby. I loved that there is no waist, which is inevitable when there is breakfast buffe

Love the location, not too far from city but in the funky suburb of Surry Hills, where wine bars, pubs and delicious food / restaurants are almost on every corner!

The room was very small, but suitable for one person and one night.

The location of the hotel was very convenient. It was so easy to walk to all.we needed. The hotel was modern with lovely decor.

The shower, toilet and wardrobe areas were very dark! It was certainly lacking some lighting. The pillows were uncomfortable as they were too soft.

Conveniently located, Ace Hotel Sydney is an easy spot for those who prefer not to stay in Sydney CBD. Staff were accommodating to needs and made for an enjoyable stay.

Our room was a little bit dusty. The lobby is also a little bit rowdy especially in evenings - so don't recommend if you're looking for a quiet spot.

The toilet and shower area is dark no light i have a poor eyesight they don’t have light in the shower area and you don’t wear glasses while having a shower that is why I don’t understand the point of having as shower with no light. Second the bed was really used. You can feel the springs of the bed are already uneven and really bouncy. There is no microwave in the room 🙂
