Everything was perfect. Our little prision cells were comfy and clean.Beds were super comfy also.Would like to stay longer. Oh,yes!Breakfast was super good!

Beds were a little uncomfortable

The prison cells were a great novelty but we're obviously on the small side, they were quite serviceable. The hotel renovations are mostly complete and to a high standard. While the room was cheap the restaurant was not, but it was good quality. I had some issues not related to the hotel and the staff were above and beyond invaluable in a fast resolution for me. The whole experience was great and I would love to return.

The plumbing was a tad noisy, but you could say it was authentic.

Breakfast was amazing!

Lunch at the restaurant was wonderful. Breakfast selection was great. I loved that the history of the prison is so well presented and yet the hotel is warm and welcoming. It was an extremely quiet and relaxing place to stay.

There was nothing I didn't like. It was a lovely stay.

The English service staff are very friendly and helpful. And the breakfast buffet spread is very good. Value for money for staying in a refurbished prison cell.

Awesome hotel, comfortable and clean, in a former prison. The rooms are very small, but it's an interesting experience. Very good buffet breakfast. There is also a shared guest kitchen where you can prepare and eat your own meal. Nice location next to a lake. 2 parkings, one in the front of the hotel and one in the inner courtyard.

Amazing hotel, amazing staff, amazing breakfast. We asked for a breakfast for take away, because our check out was early in the morning and they prepared super cute bags with food for us. Best choice and experience (because you sleep in real prison cell) ever.

Comfortable beds, quiet location, exceptional breakfast.

As a solo traveler I was bit anxious walking alone on a winter late evening from the station to the hotel.

Great place

Staff was great and it was cool there was a museum on site when we wanted to kill some time at the hotel but not be in our room. Breakfast is exceptional with several options in a lovely atmosphere - yum. It's not a far uber from the main town. You could likely walk on a nice day buy it was rainy so we ubered. This is great for a single person or to 2 friends on a budget or looking for a unique stay. I saw a family of 4 and didn't know how they did it for longer than a night. Just remember it's a cell so there isn't much space to move around or relax - good if you'll be out and about and just need a nice affordable place to crash with interesting history.

It was cold and we could not adjust the heat. The only option was us getting a space heater on our own to plug in which barley made a difference. My husband is 5'11 and could fully stretch out on the bed and had to sleep slanted. There are 0 amenities like body wah or lotion or even a hot water maker for tea or coffee.

- the location is in a beautiful place surrounded by water, 10 minute walk to the metro station - the staff were incredible: friendly and helpful - the shared kitchen space was such a cute bonus - the hotel has such charm, and the atmosåhere is so cosy and homely - really good breakfast - the beds were so comfortable, I slept really well - the amount of prison jokes you’ll be making

- there were bugs in the sink/bathroom - a bit noisy/bad noise isolation - no kettle in the room, not a minus since there’s a shared kitchen where you can do more than just boil water, but just a heads up as walking there may be tidious, depending where your room is at (also no tea bags, coffee or other complimentary stuff) - however, we really liked this hotel and will gladly return!

Breakfast was awesome, a huge variety of food. The atmosphere was incredible, you feel like you were in a real prison..

The room is a little small

Beautiful hotel, we had the double room and it was spacious and really well equipped. Receipt ion and cleaning staff were all lovely and there was plenty to do both in and around the hotel. The car was nice to Sit in the evening for a drink but loads of quiet places around the hotel to sit and relax as well.

It was on a beautiful island that could be the starting point for some gorgeous walks into old town with views across the water. Only a 10 minute walk from the metro and really accessible by the airport coach service from Arlanda.

I think it would have been slightly nicer to visit in summer time when you could swim and kayak. Otherwise there’s not shops or restaurants on the island. However, a ten minute walk towards Hornstull and you can easily find a grocery store and pub.

Loved the set up and the standard

It would have been nice to have a little more info on check in. For example explain what time breakfast was, where the communal areas were.

True to description - it really feels like a converted prison! Twin bedded room was spacious. Great Breakfast and breakfast room. Cosy Bar and sitting rooms. Excellent location Easy on site parking.

Double Rooms in the cells looked to be very small. Maybe not one for anyone who may be squeamish about the history of the building!

Nice and unique experience. The hotel is a bit far away from the city center, but it provides an opportunity for a nice walk along the water :) Breakfast was amazing!

Rooms wel appointed and keeping its intended design. All done in good taste and not making you feel as if you stay in a museum but rather a historical place.

Thought the restaurant was a bit expensive.

Really clean room, very cosy and comfy stay. The location was good and was only a 15min walk to the metro. Great choice at breakfast - overall really great value.

They took payment from my credit card without authorisation. I had no idea they had taken payment when I was checking in as nothing was said (so I thought I'd be paying when I checked out). They went ahead and charged the card I don't use when aboard and therefore I got hit with transactional charges. Hotels should never automatically take payment without checking preferred payment method first and this was very poor practise on their behalf. So watch out for that. Secondly, there was an issue with the sink drain in my room. Every time I used the sink there was an awful blocked drain smell that filled the room. I did ask if they could just pop some bleach down the sink, which I was assured they would to help, but that never happened. Whilst I would stay here again and recommend, there are some customer service issues that need to improve.

The hotel has a great atmosphere. It's located in an old prison building and they went along with the theme, which ended up looking really cool. Our room was small but cozy, the location is alright. The best part tho was undoubtedly the breakfast!

The room was a bit chilly (I went there in winter).

I was able to check in an hour earlier. The breakfast was amazing.
