Loved the character of the hotel and the rooms were so clean and spacious. Breakfast was also great!

Slightly out the centre but there were like scooters located nearby so you could make your way in easily!

The long walking distances make it a bit difficult for people with large luggage. Room for improvement in bedding.

excellent location of the hotel, very tasty breakfasts and a special atmosphere. I liked that the hotel was made in the format of a museum and the owners were able to preserve the spirit of the place.

one bed was not made (a room with two separate beds) and since we arrived late (somewhere at 11-11:15 p.m.), we were given bed linen and a towel at the reception. I had to make the upper bed myself. If this is such a joke in the theme of the hotel, then it is not very successful.

Special beautiful historical place with comfortable cells, wonderful staff and great breakfast. Lovely surroundings on an island, beach straight across from the building.

You need to be aware that it is not in the centre and it is not that convenient to get around from there.

This hotel is really a fun experience! It is modern, clean and the beds were super comfortable. Yes, you feel like you are in prison, but that made it really fun. Having never been in prison, I'm sure the rooms are way more luxe than the real thing, but our room had bunk beds that were very nice. They really have thought of everything, comfort-wise, and the breakfast was quite good. We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay.

Breakfast is amazing, all possible topings and spreads for your bread, also a few different sorts of bread, including reshly baked. Granola and different flakes for your yoghurt. But most of all the stuff are extremely friendly and helpful. The prison theme was a surprise but a nice exotic touch, doesn't express swedish hospitality very well ;-) highly recommended!

The bed was comfy but a bit narrow after all, maybe I just should loose a few pounds :-/

The jail theme is quirky and everything is of a high standard. The buffet breakfast was excellent and staff even gave us a takeout breakfast when we checked out at 6am for the ferry. Also their recycling policy is excellent with separate bins. Very nice bathroom.

The room is a tad narrow so one person is by the wall when in bed but I understand, it's the cell size.

Very special accomodation in historic setting surrounded by quiet and green island still in the middle of the city. Metro nearby. Very good breakfast.

Cell door didn‘t close 100% so light and sounds from the corridor drifted in at night time. Hair dryer quite old, gave off a burnt smell. Shower handle loose.

The location was lovely although almost an hours walk from the centre. The walk along the waters edge is enjoyable if you are fit to walk (after a day walking in city!) Metro stop was just 15mins away in Honstull Room small but interesting...a former cell!

Interesting place to stay, the island itself is great to explore. More parking than at first appears (the staff direct you to more). Fantastic breakfast. Short walk to metro to get elsewhere. Good options for dinner locally.

It's a little weird sleeping in a building that is is also an attractions itself but this was never an issue

The location is great. We just booked one night as a break from the tiny apartment we were sharing for our stay. It was a lot of fun, our kids in particular enjoyed the quirky decor and the prison features. We also enjoyed the museum with information about the history.

There wasn't much that could have been better. We were very comfortable for our whole overnight visit.

It is an evocative place. It preserves the architecture of an ancient prison and is emotionally engaging.

Great breakfast & amazing location! Honestly think the Island is the best place to stay when visiting Stockholm as it is so easy to get into all areas but quiet & peaceful in the evenings. We loved the little swimming beach and walking/running trails. Would also recommend the Wärdshus restaurant - which was lovely!

Complimentary tea & coffee availability prior to breakfast starting at 7/7.30am would have been nice - only an issue for early risers though & it is available to buy still!

Excellent breakfast, and the location was unique and gave an opportunity for quiet surroundings that are still pretty close to the city center.

The rooms were to the smaller side, but that is really to be expected for a hotel in an old prison, so wasn't that much of an issue, but just something to keep in mind.

Unique and interesting hotel converted from a former prison, with a small museum inside. Parking is convenient, and the breakfast is plentiful. Although the rooms are not large, they are well-equipped and surprisingly comfortable. Also, the reception staff were very friendly. The surroundings of the hotel are beautiful.

The hotel is a bit difficult to reach via public transport.

The rooms are small (!), but they have done their best considering they have transformed former prison cells into hotel rooms. And it adds to the charm of the hotel.

The bed is not big enough for me and my husband side by side. I asked for sheets and slept on the top bed. (The breakfast staff was pretty harsh when we came late. It’s possible to explain about the closing time, and still be nice.)

The place was great. Theme was fantastic and all the small touches were great. Lots of authenticity while still being really modern and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious also.

It would have been nice if there was an outlet near the bed. There was a lamp but no outlet except across the room which made phone charging hard especially from the top bunk. Location is also a little hard from public transport but Uber is pretty cheap. Only a few euros more than the two train tickets we were considering buying to get there from the main station.

The breakfast was amazing and the beds were really comfortable. The tap water was also the best I've ever tasted.

They didn't have a sauna or a pool

Heavy "cell doors" are loud when closing (also the ones from your cell neighbours coming home at night)

We had a great time. Super nice hotel, well located in a peaceful island.

Great location. Good breakfast. The room was clean. This time around it wasn't so hot in general, so I didn't miss the AC. Towels were fluffy and the pillow was also very comfortable.

It is quite annoying to roll the suitcase in a road with the little stones. It would be nice if you could upgrade the road leading to the hotel to have a sidewalk clean of stones.

Decor was so clever and prison theme touches. Absolutely loved it! Breakfast buffet was great. Bunkbeds were comfortable staff friendly would definitely recommend and definitely come back.

Would have liked a kettle in the room and bigger pillows!
