City Backpackers Hostel, Stockholm

Awsome hostel: large rooms, high ceiling 8 beds dont feel that many in that space. They have some free food, free skates rent and free sauna!

It seems they have 1 week stay only policy, so if you come for more than 1 week => will need to move elsewhere.

Amazing central location. Friendly and helpful staff.The beds were comfortable. All the areas are pretty clean.

You need to be aware that there is no lift, only stairs.

This was one of the best hostels I've ever been and I've been to a lot around Europe. It was very comfortable, organised, clean, spacious. Although it was in fact mainly an underground hostel therefore mostly windowless, interestingly, I've never felt trapped or suffocated. I will definitely choose it again next time.

Would be nice if beds had small shelves to put phone while sleeping and don't have to put it under the pillow.

Everything was amazing - clean, cozy and overall great. I loved the additional bonuses (free pasta, tea and coffee, skates, sauna). It’s my first stay at a hostel ever, so I don’t have anything to compare it to, but I really enjoyed it.

My only complaint would be the quality of beds (specifically bed frames) - they were extremely shaky and felt dangerous. Whenever I climbed up, I was worried the bed might crumble. In general from the lower bunk bed you can feel the person from the top bunk bed turning in sleep, it’s very shaky.

It was clean and good location

No footwear allowed inside and they don’t provide returnable slippers . This should have been informed in advance .The locks are not provided while in most hostels Thsi is there . The worst part is that they charge for mandatory bed linen. This is the basic thing and no hostel charges for this .

Good staff and precise information for late comers. The room was big and lockers were in a good shape, also kitchen facilities were really good.

Isolation on the room was not good at all. maybe some advice about producing noise during the night can help. We all know that it's hard but good reminder.

There were a lot of showers and toilets, the sauna was amazing, and the common area was comfy aswell.

Our bed was creaking and it was a little bit annoying, but overall a great experience.

Poor quality of bed frames, moving easily. Lack of organisation into 2 bunk beds room (hooks, shelves) Bed sheets should be included into the price since mandatory to pay for it (sleeping bags not permitted)

It’s very cosy and cute. I love the place and the concept. You have free pasta to cook. This was my second stay here.

During previous stay we had the option for delicious breakfast and also in the room was written breakfast 7-11. So we went down for breakfast in the morning, but then they didn’t have anything and we needed to leave.

I did an Interrail trip across 6 countries, and this was by far the best hostel I stayed in. There is a common kitchen all guests can use, and the hostel provides the guests with free pasta (as well as free tea or coffee after 11 AM). Moreover, there are also many activities the guests can try out, the hostel is equipped with a sauna, and I was able to rent ice-skates for free. The staff was very friendly, and so were the other guests.

This is a very cozy place to stay ! The reception lady is so nice and cheerful !!!!

Bunks were nice and private. Lots of common space. Staff friendly and helpful. Bus stop across the road

There is a little sauna (excellent after a long cold day). Staff is nice. You can rent from free ice skates. The place was clean. If you re a girl i recommend the solo female room, as it was very quiet and clean. Good location, 10 mins from the train station.

Good location, walking distance to old town and to trams/trains if wanting to go further. Good facilities.

Beds were uncomfortable and very noisy which made for a rough nights sleep. Also unable to turn off some lights in the room so always bright (multiple people tried without luck).

Nice layout with lots of options for privacy if required. Free coffee after 11 was a nice treat. Sauna was a nice option although I didn’t use it. Plenty of space in the kitchen and dining area.

Nothing that I can think of. An extra toilet or two would be nice as sometimes I had to wait a while for them to be vacant

The hostel was within walking distance of the central station, and the room and bathroom were very tidy. The free sauna was the fun part of the stay.
