What a unique property! Brilliantly designed mixture of old archaeology & modern architecture. So stylish and very comfortable . The staff are all lovely and so helpful! It felt very personal and friendly. They even booked our evening meal in a sweet local restaurant and organised a car for the airport. The pool is tiny but refreshing and there's even a hot tub in the beautiful garden filled with comfortable chairs and plants. It's in the best location for exploring Palermo. Would definitely stay here again.

The whole design and construction of the hotel was unique and in a perfect location for station and historic centre. Staff were so very helpful, couldn't have asked for more. Excellent breakfast. Garden and pool lovely and most welcome at the end of a day.

Great hotel! An Oasis in a very hectic city. Beautiful architechture, great customer service and fantastic breakfast. 6-7 blocks from Palermo Centrale train station, which ia very convenient.

A little bit far from the center of the city, but you gain on relaxation, cleaningness and beautiful facilities. The basic room is a little but small so I suggest you select a bigger room if your budget allows it. You won’t regret it!

This boutique hotel opened in the last year or two, fashioned from the bones of a 16th century fortress. You can still see those bones in the vaulted ceiling in the room and in the protective walls around the hotel. All of this is very cool. The rooms are modern/sleek within the ancient bones and the atmosphere is calm, with soft music in the public areas presenting a contrast to the busy city beyond the walls. There is a small above-ground swimming pool that we did not use. The location is excellent. And the staff was superb, going well beyond what we expected, making excellent restaurant suggestions, even in one case walking us to the restaurant. And when one of us got sick, Matteo and Giulia were solicitous and helpful. I couldn't ask for a better place to stay.

Breakfasts were just OK.

The property is a little hidden gem in the interesting Kalsa district. The staff are extremely helpful and are there for anything you may need: from restaurant advice to taxi services, they are keen to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The ambience is very peaceful and the gardens are lovely to sit in during the day and in the evening. The owners have carefully and thoughtfully designed the property and keep adding new, stylish touches to improve the property. We will be back for our 3rd visit next year.

A change in music played around the pool during the day would be nice.

The location is just perfect. Right in the centre but still calm and peaceful. A refreshing pool, comfy beds & very helpful staff. Now there a whirlpool as well that was not listed.

Everything about this place was unbelievable. We went for our honeymoon and I could not of been more impressed with the staff, the hotel itself and everything that came with Palermo.

Not that we didnt like it, as it was welcomed in the heat, however if the pool could of been heated just slightly higher, I think I might of moved in.

This hotel is absolutely fantastic, it is located in the old defence walls of the city and has an amazing ceiling and walls, that adds amazing atmosphere to the stay. There is a garden with a swimming pool and sun lounge chairs to enjoy the sun. The owner of the hotel is very nice and helpful!

Beautiful surroundings, kept immaculately clean. The staff were so helpful, nothing was too much bother. Lovely continental breakfast with lots of choice. Although it was a quieter area there were some lovely restaurants and bars nearby, and the hotel was only 5 minutes walk from the busier areas.

At first we felt the area was a bit questionable but once evening arrive it really came to life with restaurants and locals

Breakfast had a good choice and everything was very fresh . The location was excellent in a lovely quarter of the city with excellent bars and restaurants very close but also near to the historic centre. It was peaceful at night despite being close to the action.

The air conditioning was a bit noisy and seemed to produce a running water sound . There was no bin in the main bedroom.

It’s an oasis in the midst of a chaotic city

I loved everything, but the one thing they need is a separate bathroom and changing areas for people that use the pool after check out

It was a unique and wonderful small hotel. We loved the mix of the past and the modern rooms and amenities. The staff were kind and lovely. Wonderful restaurants are close by and the breakfast was excellent. We look forward to coming back.

It is an absolute oasis in the middle of the city. The property itself is quite new and pleasant to look at, the breakfast was lovely, the pool was great, the room and bathroom were very clean, modern but authentic - but the true warmth of the hotel lies in the staff. Professional but kind receptionists and cleaning people that know your room number by heart and help out where needed. The square surrounding the hotel was also quite charming, with kids playing every evening and nice bars and restaurants.

We chose the smallest room. Comfortable, despite the bed being less spacious than we’re used to. If you’re someone that likes a bit of wiggle room when sleeping, I think the bigger rooms had larger beds.

Relaxing, staff were excellent, love the checkin where loads of info provided on best bars, restaurants, areas to visit.

Beautiful, historic, peaceful and convenient to walk to all places of interest and close to center of town. The Staff was exceptional and went out of their way to make sure everyone was comfortable and had a wonderful stay

Some rooms on lower level where my friends stayed had insects. But the Staff and the owner himself went out of their way to change the room and also clean and remedy the unavoidable situation in the other room. This hotel has beautiful plants around (unlike many hotels in the area) and insects maybe unavoidable.

The atmosphere, the staff were excellent

This is the perfect hotel. We have stayed in many hotels but none of them was as good as this. The atmosphere and the tranquility was exceptional. An oasis in Palermo. Highly recomended.

Hotel is beautifully decorated, staff are super friendly and willing to assist with booking tours etc. Pool is a huge asset, especially with the high temperatures, and the breakfast is super yummy! Location is very central, which makes exploring Palermo very easy.

Very minor item - it would be great to have been provided with an extra room key to leave in use while out of the room by the pool - this would keep the electricity on and allow your phone to charge, as well as keep the aircon on so the room is nice and cool once you return.
