The Westin Chosun Hotel, Seoul

The staff were exceptional! Warm and friendly without being invasive and so helpful when I needed anything. The room was large, well equipped and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was fantastic with a range of foods - something for every palette. The hotel deli sold amazing sandwiches, salads and cakes and there are range of dining experiences available in the hotel. Location is excellent, within easy reach of subway stations and walking distance of shopping area. This hotel was a highlight of my holiday and easily one of the best I have stayed in.

Nothing I did not like. The rooms are a little older but incredibly clean so that did not bother us a bit.

Clean, comfortable, well appointed, great service, excellent breakfast, good location.

Air conditioning struggled to get the room below 70 degrees. We like to sleep in a colder room, so that was pretty stuffy for us. The room does have some small windows that open, so we were able to get the room cooler that way, but in the summer that wouldn’t help you much.

The service was exceptional. The beds were amazing comfortable. The hotel was quiet and very convenient to the markets.

The breakfast at Aria was very overpriced and underwhelming. It was the worst breakfast of our 3-week trip to Asia. The selection of fruit was sorely lacking and it was really disappointing for $46 USD. The juices were weird flavors. The food, especially the western breakfast, was poor quality and didn’t taste good.

The location is fantastic, with coffee shops and convenience stores just opposite. Service was good, and room cleaning service was on point every single day. Checking in was a breeze and staff who brought us to our room was incredibly helpful explaining the different functions in the room. Extremely thankful to the reception staff who managed to give us a room earlier.

The staff were very polite and hospitable. They really want to serve you and take care of all your extra needs. They remembered little details of what we liked and made the stay super comfortable.

The breakfast room was very busy in the morning. They could extend it for a bit in the mornings especially in the weekend.

Gym was a little bit crowded. The pool was very crowded but it was a big holiday period so that isn't so unusual. I think the staff did a great job informing us that it would be crowded and they put in place a system to better manage things.

I love the location and services available at this hotel. The staff was helpful with directions and taxis and any requests we had which was fairly ordinary- luggage storage and late check out. Shoutout to the Front Desk Staff and the Westin Gear service. For $5 a day you can have a mat and hand weights to use for duration of your stay if youre gym shy like me. We stayed during winter and the altar and park area of the park turns magical. Kids had a blast

The rooms were a bit dated as per other reviews. But you ll hardly notice as the housekeeping staff do an excellent job. I would also recommend just making the hotel baths available without extra fees for people not in the executive suites.

I liked the hotel's location, the Spa and very kind personel.

Furnishings and carpet in living room were outdated and threadbare. Wallpaper peeling. Coffee table lwas cracked and peeling. Coffee maker and coffe/tea options were mediocre. Disappointed that this was a suite room foe that price with Westin flag.

Firstly, I would like to thank all the staff for their exceptional hospitality. Communication in English was a breeze! This has certainly contributed to us having a great experience throughout our stay. Our checkout on the 29th was also straightforward & fast. Had a hiccup with my private car arrangement and front desk staff were quick to help and offer me solution. About the rooms - We booked for 2 rooms. As I had my senior parents on this trip, the hotel was kind to arrange for connecting rooms for us. Rooms layout & furnishing were simple & probably about time for a revamp, but cleaniness was top-notch! House keeping staff were all very polite & all smiles. Location - Fantastic! Almost just next to Lotte Mall, 5 minutes walk to Myeongdong Shopping Street. Seoul Plaza, City Hall station all within a 10-15 stroll away. Overall review for our stay - FANTASTIC!

We arrived a few hours earlier than the standard check-in time, so we did not have many expectations. However, to our delight, we were able to check in at 11 AM! Additionally, the staff speaks good English. The halal options for in-room dining are a great surprise, as we did not expect to find any halal food options, so this is a wonderful surprise. This hotel is also conveniently located very near to a convenience store and an underground subway.

The rooms are very comfortable and clean. Lovely pool, gym and spa ammenities. The breakfast was a good selection. I just did not like one staff at breakfast that was ill mannered. She has short hair and glasses. Two days she kept repeatedly coming to our table to tell us that breakfast ends at 10am and that we were "Too Late". This is very rude. She did this when we were seated at 9.15am which was ample time to have breakfast and there were many more diners just entering. The other staff were very polite and I do not have any complaints against them.

We had exceptional service from all the staff. Especially the concierge team. Our special thanks to Summer who was so enthusiastic and recommended us many sights to visit and speedily arranged booking shows and tours for us. The reception team were all very friendly and capable. I just really found that one lady staff at the breakfast extremely rude. We had great service from all the other staff. It is a pity to encounter bad service staff as next time we will be inclined to choose the adjacent Lotte Hotel.

It was a very lovely hotel. The staff looked after us very well and went out of their to ensure we had a pleasant stay. We appreciate this. It has a good location and a walking distance to the big mall and the night market. Overall, I will be happy to stay in this hotel again when I come back to Seoul

It was slightly dark in the room due to limited lighting and the hotel though well maintained looks a bit dated.

I like the size and space of our room (twin beds). The location of the hotel was excellent.

There is no direct underground or sheltered connection to the subway, but this is only a minor inconvenience.

Location: Very convenient for meetings. Because I had an ankle fracture, it was helpful that people could easily come to the hotel to meet me. Excellent food, the staff seemed to know what I needed even before I asked—they were attentive, thoughtful, and truly read my mind. I am very grateful for their warm and humble service.

Bedding. Confusion about number of beds and then a roll away was put in but very comfortable as there was a couch that we probably didn’t need.

We had a lovely stay at the hotel! The rooms were spacious and the staff was warm and welcoming! It was the perfect way to end our vacation. The hotel is well connected to public transport options and has great amenities within the property itself!
