Saga Hotel, Oslo

Omg the breakfast was fantastic. So many options and they were all good. Beautiful spacious room, the bed was comfy and the shower was great. Lobby with fireplace was gorgeous. Reception team members were very helpful and lovely.

A very nice and cosy hotel with very helpful staff. The breakfast is exceptionally good: tasty and has a great variety to choose from. Plus warm options were changing every day throughout our 4-day long stay. We would definitely stay in this hotel again!

Since the building is old (but extremely beautiful!), unfortunately we could hear every step of our upstairs neighbors. Didn't bother us much, but something to keep in mind if you are sensitive to noise

It was clean and the hotel decorations were cozy and beautiful. The breakfast was great with many choices. The staff was friendly and helpful.

The bed and the pillows were not comfortable. The hotel entrance has stairs so it was not suitable for baby stroller and it was difficult for us to carry our baby’s stroller every time we entered or exit from the hotel.

Beautifully equipped lobby and rooms with a delicious and perfectly timed breakfast buffet. Friendly and helpful staff. Will stay in again and happy to recommend! :)

Room was large and comfortable, buffet breakfast was incredible and staff went out of their way to be helpful. Use of local gym was a real bonus too.

Set in a lovely quiet residential street. Not too far from nearest tram stop. Superb breakfasts with great choice of hot and cold food each morning. Lovely rooms with good showers.

The room was comfortable and the location was perfect for us. We really liked the neighborhood and dining options close by. Breakfast was also quite good.

We would have liked to have had the ability to login to netflix or webcast from our phones to the tv. Also, our shower was small. It worked great but for a bigger person it might be uncomfortable or awkward.

A charming hotel in a quiet, almost secluded area of Oslo. The breakfast was simply amazing both in terms of quality and variety. It has this homey feeling of coziness. Worth the money!

The hotel is known for its quiet location. It was a shame that there was a noisy departure by corporate guests on Friday morning. And in the evening there was a party in the street. If we had complained, the hotel would have intervened (Tipp: Let the stuff known they might don’t know about this). I went to bed late and was therefore not as disturbed as other guests.

The hotel is located in a quiet walkable residential neighborhood, with off street free parking. Our room was spacious with lots of windows.

Saga was quiet, comfortable and clean. It is in a very good location just outside the central core but accessible to everything. Their breakfasts were exceptional! But the nicest thing about the hotel was the staff, so helpful and so friendly!

Really comfortable and quiet in an elegant residential area of Oslo. Attractive decor and delicious breakfast. Staff very friendly and helpful. 20 minute walk to the Vigeland Sculpture Park and close to bus and tram links.

Quiet lucury

The hotel was QUIET as promised, especially our room on the courtyard side. Even with our window open in the night, which was necessary for good sleep in the summer, it was like being in the countryside in the middle of the city. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast was amazing. There was also a mini bar which was helpful, and the fridge had a little extra room for our own stuff. Also the tea kettle and coffee maker were helpful. The staff was also very helpful.

The shower could be a bit larger. The location is good (and we knowingly picked something outside the center of Oslo for the quiet), but of course its not as easy to reach as some spots for a tourist.

Spacious room with smart layout that made the most of its size. Very comfortable bedding, everything perfectly clean. We loved the alcove windows for light and fresh air. Very nice and quiet location for walking into town past the royal palace, or the other way to Vigelandparken. We were lucky to find the last private parking spot available.

Room was small but well kept, bed was comfortable. Nicely furbished hotel in a quiet and leafy block less than 30’ walking distance from the city centre.

Bathroom needs a functioning ventilation fan. Would suggest to improve lights in the breakfast room as it’s way too dark.

Location: not many restaurants, train stations close to the hotel; not close to the train station.

Excellent breakfast. Desk clerks were extremely helpful in giving information about the area. The location was almost perfect because I came to visit Grace International Church which meets at Uranienborg Menighetshus.

Maybe if it were any warmer, air conditioning would have been nice. I realize however, that there are very few days when it is needed.

The staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. The breakfast was good and had lots of choices. The room was very clean and well cared for. The hotel is away for the touristy areas but close enough to walk or take the tram anywhere we wanted to go.

Our room was on the 4th floor under the eaves, so we had to stoop to get to one side of the bed and to one suitcase. I wish I had known ahead of time and asked for a different room. Because we arrived late I just didn't bother. The elevator was out of service our last day, but the staff was very helpful and offered to bring our bags down for us.

Its not really centric, located in a residential area. Although it is not too far from the center, for a first time visitor to Oslo it’s not very accessible to the main attractions. Also, I was lucky the weather was cool. There is no A/C and you have to open the windows because the room retains the daytime heat.

The hotel was clean, updated, and within walking distance of great points of interest. There was easy access nearby to buses and trams, and every staff member we spoke with was kind, knowledgeable, and friendly. The breakfast was very tasty, and the staff was happy to provide gluten-free bread and a muffin upon request. When we had to leave ridiculously early for our flight, the woman at the front desk provided us with a delicious bagged breakfast and made me a latte to go. I highly recommend this hotel!

I love this hotel! It’s in a lovely neighborhood and still a close walking distance to all the great parts of Oslo. That said, my family loves a good walk!

I think the stairs could use a carpet cleaning and the front desk staff could be a bit warmer.

Great stay. Wish they would have had body lotion and cream rinse. Elevators was broken when I was there but that happens. Really enjoyed how small the hotel was and the young woman at the front desk the two nights I was there was very helpful and I enjoyed chatting with her.

Breakfast is lovely, rooms have high ceilings an fairly nice bathrooms. They are all a bit different depending on what floor you are on and which way your windows are facing. We've stayed here multiple times and are never disappointed. There is a lovely bar area an because this hotel is in a neighborhood, it's nice to sit outside in the afternoon for a beer or a coffee.

The stairs are carpeted and could really use a refresh... or at least a cleaning. If you are on the top floor you have sky lights in some rooms which is so nice... but the ceiling are slanted so if you are tall, you might want to be on a lower floor.

Nice hotel in a quiet and safe area close to shopping, restaurants and the palace gardens. We got a parking space in front of the hotel and went everywhere by foot - it is easy to walk from here to anywhere in Oslo! Very good breakfast. The hotel staff were always friendly and helpful.

Too much of our room was dedicated to bathroom hence the bedroom was tight.

Everything about this hotel is as described. A gorgeous hotel with a lounge area that makes you feel relaxed as soon as you walk in. The breakfast is great, one of the best. Location is great to be in the middle of all different districts (20-35 min walk), which if you don't mind walking it's perfect.
