Saga Hotel, Oslo

Boutique style hotel with friendly and helpful front desk staff. Rooms are spacious. Good breakfast and nuce small bar and sitting areas.

The room temperature was too warm and guest can't alter the temperature.

Lovely hotel, quiet, well-located, excellent breakfast buffet, would definitely return!

Would have been helpful to have an extra towel in the room for use when washing hair (though this could probably have been obtained on request).

Loved the location and the facilities. Free parking was much appreciated. The free breakfast was very good.

Very good location in a residential neighborhood but 100m from a main shopping street, close to Vigeland Park, and near a tram stop. Nicely sized room.

Bed was up against a wall so could only get in from one side.

Just spent 5 nights at the Saga Hotel in Oslo and had a fantastic time. The room was a good size, definitely not cramped, and had everything we needed - a TV, a little fridge stocked with drinks (perfect for those evenings in!), and even a Nespresso machine for that morning caffeine kick. The bathroom was a highlight - the floor heating was amazing, especially after a cold day exploring the city. The staff at the Saga Hotel were absolute stars. Everyone we interacted with was friendly and super helpful, answering all our questions and giving recommendations for things to see and do. Breakfast was included in our stay, and it was delicious! Fresh food, plenty of variety, and a great way to start the day. The hotel also has a locker room where we were able to leave our luggage after check-out, which was a lifesaver as our flight wasn't until the evening. Overall, a brilliant stay at the Saga Hotel - would definitely recommend it!

The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, the room was quite small but it had everything, was very clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was superb, a huge variety.

Wonderful small hotel in an old builduing nice renovated - 1000m south of vigelandspark and about 800m north of the kings-castle. Perfect to check out Oslo by feet. Lot s of small n bigger mansions in the near, embassys too. Some restaurants (special tips: Park29 $$$ norge / Olivia $ italian / Asia Box $$ asia / KosKos $$ libanesic in the citycenter) and a small shopping street (Bogstadveien) in the near. The reception and bar was in renovation, rooms and other places are renovated. Cosy rooms and a fantastic, delicious, organic breakfast with oatmilk in the BeanToCupCoffeeMachine :-) The people at the reception, staff, kitchen were kind, nice and helpful !

Great location, walking distance to main attractions. Breakfast is diverse and well served, fits different needs. The space was clean, quiet, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Overall a great stay.

Rooms are pretty small (that was not a problem for us, but the wardrobe is really small, be aware of that particularly if you carry winter clothes). Sagging, deformed mattress. No lotion/shampoo/conditioner provided.

The location of the hotel is nice. The room was quite clean. The staff were very polite and attentive. There is a private parking lot for the hotel. We didn't encounter any issues. The breakfast was quite sufficient.

During our stay, there was construction on the reception floor of the hotel. They had informed us about this beforehand. However, there was an overwhelming smell of thinner/paint on the reception floor. Unfortunately, since our room was on this floor, the smell affected us. We didn't mind this because we were satisfied with everything else about the hotel. We appreciate them informing us about this beforehand.

Very friendly staff, amazing breakfast, good location. Nice, elegant and very well maintain building in a very quite neighborhood. 3 min untill the tram station.

It would be very helpful to offer disposable slippers. The cafe bar/relaxing area was being restored. No access to a bar or restaurant inside the hotel.

Breakfast: The majority of the items are delicious and complimentary. Room: Spacious, well-decorated, and clean. However, there are issues with the bathroom; water leaks from the shower. Location: Excellent. It's a quiet place with convenient access to tram, metro, and bus routes, making communication easy.

The WiFi signal in my room was rather weak most of the time.

In the first room I got one night curtain was missing, so the room couldn't be completely darkened which wasn't great. The following day I got another room so the problem was sorted.

Location was good, property was accessible. Staff was courteous and packed us a breakfast box upon request as we were checking out very early.

Room was pretty small. It could do with some more lighting in the room.

Even though the hotel needed to move my reservation to their sister apartment property, they communicated this clearly and helped relocated me and my bags at check-in.

The hotel was undergoing renovations while we stayed so they moved us to the master suite in the apartments. The suite was huge and more than enough room for my family of four. The suite was clean and had a very comfy bed and pullout couch. Jakob the property manager was also extremely helpful during the move and allowed us to keep our bags after checkout in the room while we waited for our friends to pick us up. I would definitely stay here again.

Bar was closed due maintenance, but that did not bother at all.

Beautiful place, the room felt really big because of the tall ceilings. Breakfast was amazing with loads of options, from continental choices, to more local ones, as well as loads of vegan offerings.

Location was a bit inconvenient in the middle of winter with lots of ice on the floor. I can imagine that during the other parts of the year, that wouldn't be an issue. I can also see the size of the wardrobe being a problem for a couple/family. The bed and pillows were too soft for my taste.
