The location is great- ten minutes from the Opera House, five minutes from main tourist shopping street. The beds were very comfortable! Perfect for economic travel- good facilities to prepare and eat your own food. Staff very friendly and helpful.

My booking - through booking.com was a disaster. After a delay at the airport, we arrived at around 2am to find only one of two rooms we’d booked was an available. Additionally, the second booking was listed for the wrong dates. The staff member did his best to sort it all out but it took time and we were tired. In the end we got two rooms but one single and one double, instead of the two doubles paid for. I ended up staying in the single and they have promised to refund the difference (as i paid for a double). However, there has been no offer to compensate me for the inconvenience.

Very good locations for first time visit.

The room was incredibly small and a big luggage would not have fit in any place. We could barely move around the bed by squeezing in. The fee cars that drive centrally can be perfectly heard from the 3rd floor and they are very noisy. Price not justified for me.

Cleanliness and location

The mattress is not fixed on the bed. It slides when you turn. I need to get up a few times a night to adjust that so that I will not fall on the floor.

The location was very accessible and close to Central Station which was nice and close to the Opera House as well very convenient location.

More hooks on the walls for hanging clothes. A fold down luggage rack on which to place luggage. Placing the luggage on the bed while sleeping was not comfy nor was it being open on the floor in a very narrow space which was a trip hazard. Traveling for 2 months requires more than one small bag.

It had mostly what I needed for an overnight stay. Once I checked in, finding my room was easy. Good location from Oslo Central; took me a 5 minute walk to arrive.

Instructions regarding self-checkin were vague which caused angst as I was expecting a code via email to get in. Much trepidation until I was actually standing in front of the checkin station in the building. Could use a small refrigerator for storing a cold drink, a few perishables.

Very central in Oslo and the single room was quite spacious!

The Check–in is done via a machine. When I arrived 2/4 of the machines were out of order and kept saying someone was on the way to fix things but no one arrived.

The location of this property is very ideal for doing most things by foot. I also enjoyed the ease of the self service check-in and checkout kiosks to facilitate my stay. I didn't make much use of the common areas but they seemed really spacious and clean. Liked that my room and bathroom had a skylight which made for a nice environment

My room had slanted ceilings which meant half of it was basically unusable as you had to be bent over to navigate in that area. I really only had a small area I could fully stand up in or change in. The door was also very thin so I could hear every single noise in the hall. In addition my electronic lock of my room seemed to keep activating through the night making it seem like someone was trying to enter which was a bit uncomfortable. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable but the property is showing it's age compared to other CityBox hotels I've stayed in- the door to the bathroom was all chipped and bubbled paint along the bottom and the shower head sprayed in all directions because of mineral build up. Fine for a one night stay but not longer

The room needed a brush up, there was dirty paintwork, dirty window, a broken mirror and lots of stains on the floors and walls.

For a budget hotel, the room was clean , the bed was comfortable and shower worked well. Location was perfect for my needs.

It would have been helpful to display the cost of items e.g. coffee and food in the self service vending machine.

Large room and bathroom. Functioned well. Low key communal atmosphere with different choices for lounging in lobby area with access to refrigerators, microwave, and other kitchen facilities. Complimentary coffee machine with variety of beverages was an unexpected bonus. Staff was friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Location was right on a tram line, 2 blocks from major transit hub, 3 blocks from the main train station. Two restaurants directly connected to lobby spaces. And my stay was quiet. I was not disturbed at all.

Very minor comments: Inserting room key card to turn on lights. I understand the reasoning, to save power when not occupied, but if I had a choice I'd wish it wasn't necessary. I was worried that I would forget it when leaving. Also would have liked some counter or vanity surface at the bathroom sink.

Great location, clean and fairly comfortable for the price and type of accommodation.

We were on the top floor and a roof beam was in the way in the narrow space between the window and the bed, which I hit repeatedly trying to get off the bed. A safety hazard and not great to be selling the room in that configuration.

Our bathroom drain was not properly working and would take ages to drain so you had to shower super fast to keep the shower from filling and flooding.

The self-check-in and check-out via the kiosks were incredibly easy and convenient, which I really loved. The location is excellent—close to main attractions, the central train station, and most importantly, very close to the ferry terminal where I needed to catch my boat. They also provide complimentary coffee for guests, which was a lovely touch.

The guest kitchen does not have stoves for proper cooking; it only has microwaves for reheating food. Personally, I prefer a full kitchen with stoves. Also, the bathroom door has no doorknob or handle, making it very difficult to open.

Great location in Oslo. Walking distance to most sights and the train station. The room and the beed were small but very confortable. The staff was super helpful (due to a problems with trains, i missed my first night, but they were very understanding to keep my booking so i could check in for the other nights i've booked).

The hotel is very close to Pslo maintain station and the opera house.

I did not get the twin room I reserved. They provided double bed and bunk bed which is a little uncomfortable.

- my mistake, but i didn't know there are no tvs in the room - the room was clean-ish, the floor wasn't the cleanest otherwise it was fine

Nice location right in the center of Oslo, with access to main attractions, such as the city center and Oslo Opera House etc. The bedroom and bed were very good.

Lack of staff and a included breakfast would be nice. A little noise came from the street at night but no such big deal.
