Beautiful location, property, and accomodation!

The room we were first given was not what we had booked! Had to go back to front desk and tell them we had booked a premium room with view and sleeper couch. They suggested that we change rooms for our second night. We firmly and politely declined and they moved us to a room that matched what we had paid for. It was beautiful! But, not a great way to welcome us to the hotel!!

The hotel is composed of several compounds; clear signs and guidance to different compounds would help and probably more explicit guidance from staff (we had to search it hard to find the right compound where our room was located and another couple was having just the same experience)

i couldn’t understand why just the bathroom has floor heating and especially in winter for outside clothes i couldn’t dry them easily.

Breakfast was good, in fact it was better than the overpriced dinner they offer here. Location near the Holmenkollen tower is nice as well, especially in winter.

Overpriced for what you get. Dinner was a joke. Restaurant service staff itself was pretty inattentive and unprofessional. Only one guy seemed to truly care (older guy with short hair and glasses / restaurant reception), but he seemed frustrated like he didn't really care anymore. Restaurant manager needs to improve situation immediately.

The most beautiful hotel I know. Great place to stay. There is absolutely inceridible gym.. much better than most of the real fitness clubs. Amazing breakfast.

Amazing view, architecture and vibes!

It's been advertised as a spa place with pool & sauna. This is not really usable as it costs extra (a lot) and is only open to 7 in the evening. Would have booked something else if I had known this.

I really enjoyed the view from the hotel despite we didn’t have that view from the room. I’m not sure If we had a change to impact on that while reservating the room. If I stayed there again (hope I will), would I definitely ask the room with the beautiful view to Oslo city. Now we looked up straight to the concrete wall and let’s just say — that was not what I was waiting for the stay.

Scandic Holmenkollen Park and the view of surrounding landscape are both beautiful. Great service from staff. Quiet, comfortable room. Excellent breakfast, with many choices to select from. Lunch and dinner options are also excellent.

There was quite some advertising about the wine cellar. It was not open the weekend when we visited. The advertising were done with roll-ups and other removable items. Could be good to remove not to raise false expectations.

The room was large. The hotel lobby is nice place to hang out. A fireplace to sit by. A bar and restaurant are add to the great atmosphere. Food at breakfast was wonderful. With all item marked for dietary need. The view is amazing.

The spa facilities hadn't been on in the morning when we paid to use it - the steam room didn't work and the sauna took ages to warm up. Lovely facilities just not for those that like to use them first thing

The view was majestic and the design of the whole hotel was just gorgeous. Breakfast was great with a huge variety of choices. There is also a useful covered parking a large gym free to use.
