Hotel Continental, Oslo

A really good experience with an excellent service and very comfortable rooms, not to mention the beds, which are awesome.

Amazing staff. If you haven´t been to Oslo before this is a fantastic location and a landmark in itself.

From arrival to breakfast the next morning, everything exceeded expectations. Upon arrival, the bar next to the reception/lobby was buzzing with cheerful people and radiated a warm, welcoming atmosphere — a perfect start to our stay. After enjoying a couple of drinks at the bar, we headed to the second floor for dinner at the restaurant, which was a true culinary delight of the highest standard. Following a restful night’s sleep in a wonderfully comfortable bed, we were treated to an exceptionally extensive and delicious breakfast. What makes the whole experience even more special is the staff: without exception, everyone was genuinely hospitable, friendly, and attentive.

Location is great. Walking distance to everywhere. Museums, Palace, Harbor are all in walking distance.

Blackouts were not blocking the light completely that is the only thing I did not like.

Spacious and clean room with firm mattress and comfy duvet. Very nice and friendly receptionists - offered to help carrying the luggage; brought the food delivery I ordered from Wolt to my room). Also asked for feedback when I checked out. Decent breakfast - my favourite are there are fresh fruits (e.g. passion fruits) to choose from, and they’d give you a pot of coffee.

No sauna or pools, but that’s ok. There’s a gym but I didn’t go. The double bed is actually two single beds put together - and there are two single-sized duvets instead of a double-sized one. But that wasn’t horrible either. The waiters at the breakfast would come and collect the plates before I finished it - kind of caught me by surprise.

Will return to Hotel Continental if the opportunity arises, in the future. Stayed in Norway for 3+ weeks, and HC was the best. Amazing breakfast.

Location was perfect. Tram and bus stops in front. Can walk to many major attractions. Lots of stores and restaurants nearby. Also very near port making it ideal for a pre or post cruise stay.

No air condition, and although temperature was perfect, we had a location at the front and if windows were open you can hear street noises until 4 am 😢

Just a really great hotel. Would’ve given ten out of ten but I was only there for one night. Very accommodating able to provide early check in with no fuss at all and happy to hold our luggage for us on our last day after check out.

I paid for a higher-rate room but was placed in a lower-rate room. In fact, I should receive a refund. I even mentioned this at the reception.

This hotel could be compared to the Fairmont of North America...it is class and well run. All staff spoke excellent English and were more than happy to help. The hotel was clean and well put together. We had a deluxe room, which was wonderful, quiet, spacious. I would have loved a bigger bath, but that is minor. Breakfast was amazing, lots to choose from, either buffet or order. I'm going to stay here again

We did eat at Eik and had room service from Theatercafeen. The food was great, especially our room service from Theatercafeen, phenomenal. I can't say the same of Eik. We sat by a coat rack and we were sometimes forgotten. The food was good, but not necessarily exceptional.

Breakfast is exceptionally fine. The room was comfortable and well designed. Good lighting. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Excellent location right in the centre of town. Easy access to the Airport train and all public transport.

The communal / lounge area / bar is open to the public, and was very noisy and an unpleasant place to sit most of the day. Would be nice with a separate lounge/bar for residents. Our room was on the 4th floor, and was noisy with the trams running outside and sirens. Last time I stayed here I was on the 6th Floor, which was much quieter. The showerhead in the bathroom needs attention.

I take the Taxi infront of the Hotel. He was scam and fraud. Charged double price, Hotel should regulate and control the taxi who parks infront of Hotel, most good hotels do. That was why I trusted, unfortunately.

Hotel Continental is located in the theater district within a very short stroll to the waterfront and across the street from national theater train station. It is a great location. The breakfast was very nice.
