Restaurant was closed for renovation. The bar only offered a few dishes.

The gym is way to small

Very nice hotel, a bit pricey but I knew that when I booked it. It was close to several attractions. The staff was really great. The bar had a good selection. Room was nice, very comfortable bed.

There is a commuter light rail that goes by regularly even early in the morning, you can hear it even from the other side of the hotel.

Most comfortable beds I've slept in at a hotel. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, especially at breakfast. The continental breakfast was outstanding. Great location, extremely easy to get to from the airport.

I wish the rooms could accommodate families a little better. We were forced to get two rooms, which ended up being cheaper than one that would fit the three of us.

Very professional and polite staff, in style. Rooms are very confortable and well decorated. Excellent breakfast. Central location, walking distance from everything, including the train to the airport, which station is across the street. We would come back.

A very comfortable and immaculately clean room. Possibly the best hotel breakfast I've ever experienced. The staff were superb - the day of our departure coincided with a Gay Pride parade, the police had closed off the roads giving access to the hotel but the reception/concierge staff cheerfully navigated us around the issue, carrying our bags for 2 city blocks to a waiting taxi.

All lovely until we were leaving. Requested our car and Luggage to be collected at a specific time as we had A ferry to catch. Reception staff clearly forgot. No Apology made. Just said it was ok. Made a stressful End to a lovely stay. Would have been made so much better if he’d apologised.

Breakfast was outstanding and the location was perfect. The dinner at the hotel restaurant….very nice food and service but we were crammed into a tiny table in between two other couples also having dinner. We were so close they could hear our conversation and we could hear their conversations! And the restaurant was 60% empty!!!

Hotel Continental was a superb hotel, the staff were amazing and the bedroom was wonderful all our needs were met. The breakfast in the morning was fabulous with a lovely selection of hot food, fruit, and pastries and more. The hotel was close to everything we needed to do and we felt very safe in Oslo, people here are very friendly and are all well educated in speaking english so don't be afraid like myself not being able to speak Norwegian. Well done Hotel Continental for our fabulous vacation, we will return one day to this beautiful country.

Location great walking distance to the water and several museums, restaurants. Facility more than adequate, great lobby, space rooms. Staff incredibly polite efficient and helpful. Went out of their way to assist.

Great stay at this hotel. Room was very nice. Location was very central. Staff were brilliant. The breakfast was very good. In particular, we were very late arriving on our first night and that was no problem, and they gave us late check out on our last day as our flight was early evening.

Because of the central location it can be a little noisy (especially from the tram). Water pressure in the shower could have been better (though that wouldn’t have worked with the open shower). These are minor quibbles though. Overall the stay was GREAT and we would DEFINITELY consider staying again at the Hotel Continental if we’re back in Oslo in the future.
