Loved the breakfast

Very nice hotel. Very central even though this is definitely not the most charming area in Oslo, just close to the Opera and the central station so convenient. Nice design and very nice breakfast, room was a bit small. Nice staff.

The room was a bit small, it overlooks a not very nice square and the restaurants were closed when we were there.

Very comprehensive breakfast selection.

1. Great location close to train station. Incredibly easy to take train from airport and then you are within 5 minute walk to the hotel. 2. Amazing breakfast. Dinner was good as well. 3. Excellent job of renovating an old property into a beautiful but modern hotel

Central location, close to railway station and walking distance to tourist sites. Good restaurants nearby too. Interesting history provided about property. Fantastic breakfast.

This hotel serves as an example in the hotel sector! Facilities of the finest aesthetics, strategical location (at the heart of the main attractions and very well connected with the airport), beautiful sauna and fitness amenities, attention to details (e.g high quality skincare products) and the most delicious breakfast you could ever ask for! Most importantly, what makes Amerikalinjen special is the genuine politeness and hospitality of its people! Our breakfasts and dinners would not be the same if Alexander from the Brasserie Atlas was not there to ensure that every meal becomes an authentic and unique experience (not to mention our pleasant discussions and his very useful tips for Oslo). Likewise, Katharina and Nikos kept always the biggest smile for us, were very attentive and did the extra mile to help with every single thing that we needed. Exploring a new country/city and finding a new home is not self-evident! Thus, when this happens, you know that you will be back soon!

Perfect location, bar is excellent, great for couples or businessman or single travellers. Housekeeping provides superb service, super friendly staff. Beds are so comfortable.

It's an old building, and it's a cold country so if you love warmer rooms you need a radiator.

Stylish place with top notch equipment and outstanding breakfast.

I prefer very calm environments and the window to the back was showing on some airconditioning device which created noise most of the night.

We loved this hotel. Great location, the rooms were finished to a high standard, breakfast was tasty and all the staff were lovely and helpful.

Our only note was that the duvet was small. Once you were both in bed it barely covered you unless you both slept in the middle of the bed (which defeats the idea of having a bigger bed).

Nothing as all was excellent

The hotel is in an excellent location, next to the train station, and is easy to reach to most of the city attractions. Even though our room faces the train station square with lots of traffic, the noise level is minimal. All of the staff are very courteous and go out of their way to concomitate guests' needs. Selections at the breakfast are quite good. On the day of our departure which was at 6 in the morning, they actually prepared a boxed breakfast for us to take on the trip.

The only thing is that sound insulation between rooms is not sound proof. We can hear conversation from guests in the next room for two nights although fortunately they were done before very late.

The hotel is an historic building which has great character. But it has been updated to reflect modern times.

The cleanliness and the room was spacious and the atmosphere in general was great.

Great rooms, very nice staff. Delicious brekfast. Very comfy and big beds. Complete gym and sauna room. The decoration was special and nice and the bar offered a lot (and very nice) drinks options. I would definitely good back!

The location was excellent, although we had a car and it was so hard to drive in the center of Oslo! The garage was great. The bar downstairs at night, offered good drinks, but the kitchen was closed:( But we lucked out and our waitress could find us dessert, macaroons! That was so nice! The breakfast was amazing!!!!
