Location, nice breakfast

Loved the location and breakfast and loved the rooftop bar!!

The air conditioning in the room was not very easy to operate? The rooftop bar staff could have been more friendly, as they were not the most welcoming sadly! The bar needs to purchase paprika or chillies to be able make a spicy margarita!🤗

Location was excellent. We didn't eat in the hotel because there were many cheaper cafes and restaurants nearby. Staff were particularly helpful and the room was very comgortable/

There was no milk or tea in the room - just coffee and the machine was difficult to operate.

The room sensor/detector on the ceiling was right by the bed and flashed all through the night making it difficult to sleep. I didn't feel comfortable with an adjoining room door in the room and a statute of a dog's head smoking a pipe on the wall by the bed, it was quite disconcerting!

The breakfast area was so crowded that trying to get food was like sitting in a car in a traffic jam. About four times more staff would be necessary to clear the tables at breakfast.

The hotel is right next to the central rail station which is perfect to get off a fast train and comfortably roll your bags to the hotel. The breakfast was very good and fresh. Staff were very very helpful.

Heated bathroom floor, didn't work

I was not happy with the room I got. I paid extra for a better, upgraded room. The picture showed a balcony in the room I had selected, but the room I got was odd and lacked a balcony; it only had one small window. When I complained to the front desk, I received the same old answer: no rooms with balconies were currently available. The room's interior space was also oddly arranged.

The lighting in the room is absolutely USELESS. With EVERY light switched on, we struggled to see. There is an OVERKILL of pillows and cushions. An extremely large pillow - impractical One small pillow - two would be better A number of scatter cushions - POINTLESS

Good location next to the Oslo Central Train Station. Walking distance to shopping areas and the opera. Also easy to walk to the king's castle. Fitness room is well equipped. Nice bars with great staff (both on the ground floor and rooftop).

Heating in the room did not work despite outside temperatures below zero. It was freezing cold. We've been at the reception twice to flag the issue and ask for a solution or room change. While we were out, the staff was supposed to fix the issue but nothing was done. After complaining for a third time (meanwhile day 2), they put us an electric heater in the room. Not much choice for breakfast.

Location, great bar, sauna and pool. Able to open the windows. Beautiful room.

The Christmas tree took up too much space in the room. The bathroom was not clean when we arrived. Mentioned to reception and they arranged additional cleaning.

The breakfast was amazing amazing amazing. Worth staying here just for the breakfast!! The location was perfect, and the rooftop venues have a great view of Oslofjord.

It was all good, except the pool, it was underwhelming. A good pool for kids to burn off some energy, a useless pool for adult exercise as it's circular with a post in the middle.

Very clean, neat and modern hotel with excellent amenities and services. Breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfasts I have eder had both in terms of variety of meals, drinks and desserts, as well as taste. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Overall, excellent!

Rooms relatively small in size, which is ok, but they are overly stuffed. Especially too many pillows of all sizes that cover half of a bed. When putting them away, room get clogged/full. A small table, on the contrary, would be very nice to have.

Hotel was very convenient to get to train station and walking distance to shops and restaurants. Buffet breakfast was excellent - one of the best I had in Oslo.

The room were a little small. After checking in to the room, I paid additional to get an upgrade as it was very cramped, esp if your auitcase is big..

The location near Central Station and the Opera House is perfect, at the beginning of the shopping street Karl Johans gate. The lobby was decorated with a Christmas vibe and the staff member at checkin was very friendly. The room was nice and clean, and the breakfast was excellent and abundant.

On Sunday morning the breakfast room was overcrowded and a bit chaotic. Totally different experience on Monday morning, when it was a bit more quite and relaxt. Long waiting after breakfast with full elevators. Visited the rooftop bar for a drink and desert on Saturday evening. Received a more expensive gin than I asked for, and charged us 70 NOK for a tonic instead of the 50 NOK that was on the menu. The staff member at checkout was not awake yet and not very friendly.

I kept bumping into the bed base which protrudes a little.

The breakfast was well above standard even with a conference in the hotel there was plenty of seating and no shortage of food. The staff were were very helpful and could answer any questions with confidence. The location close to Oslo Central station and other transport was perfect.

The close proximity to Oslo S train station was the selling point . Room space is good for 4 pieces of luggage . The ensuite bathroom is big and nice touch to use different colours for the bath towels. Breakfast was wide spread too . I will choose this hotel if I come back to Oslo again .

The towel rack and hook share the same space with the shower area . The towels will definitely be wet before use . The bed was too soft and too many cushions .

The breakfast was superb, a massive selection all really fresh, the location also excellent, near the train station and public transport

The hotel is really centrally located with nice comfortable rooms and a very extensive breakfast. Modern design and friendly staff. I would go back again.

Our first room had a view on the waiting area in front of the elevator; so continuously people were waiting there staring directly into our room. Luckily we could change rooms. The hotel is built for large amounts of people; it’s very busy everywhere in the hotel; from the lobby to the elevator to the breakfast.

Breakfast was very good with a wide selection. Location is excellent and very handy for the railway station.

Some more hooks or hanging space in the room would have been beneficial.

The breakfast had a very wide variety and it was really tasty. The room was cozy. There is a mini spa in the hotel, it is not much, but a nice addition. The location is excellent, a lot of sights can be reached by foot.

The elevator system is simply bad and uncomfortable. Customer service could be improved. On the first evening of our stay we couldn't sleep due to very loud music, we called the reception and they offered to "upgrade" us to a higher floor... if we pay the difference to a more expensive room. Such upgrades should not come with extra costs for the customers, especially when the hotel has free rooms anyway.

The breakfast is hardly to top! The room was good and pleasant. Only downside was that the batteries of the TV remote were not checked and that some bedlamps were damaged. The bedlamps were replaced immediately after we gave notice. Besides that little things, this hotel was a overall good experience especially for its location just a few 100m from the central station.

It was a very short walk from Oslo Central Station which we appreciated after a long train trip from Stavanger. We ate at the hotel restaurant in the evening, great food, and had breakfast at the hotel the next morning, amazing range of options.

The only issue was the very wardrobe storage is very limited if you were staying for a few days and wanted to unpack your suitcase.

Our room is very small for a standard double or twin room. Interestingly, our friends booked the same room type, but their room is much larger.

The restaurant/bar … the staff a bit stiff and try to act like luxurious informing us the restaurant was not open yet, I have been to much more luxurious hotels and the staff was super friendly and professional, not impressed at all

Good location, excellent breakfast

Problem was not small room but absolutely no space for any clothing, shoes, hand back. Maybe good for one night but not for 5 even if you have tickets for theater (corresponding dress) and some variety for bad wheather. I had no problem to order different (better) room if I had corresponding information.

Excellent location - near the central station, great for exploring around the city or travelling further afield outside of Oslo. The breakfast buffet is huge and there’s so much choice! Delicious! The staff and service were excellent - efficient, polite and helpful at all times.

This is a minor thing but some of the signage is a bit confusing! The hotel is very modern and I felt that this was at the expense of keeping some basic things (like signage to the lifts), basic!

A great central hotel. You are able to walk to all of the main attractions. Well connected, central train station and tram just outside if travelling further. Really quick and easy to get from the airport.. Clean, spacious room. Amazing breakfast - huge choice of food. Facilities were excellent - well equipped large gym and lovely sauna and plunge pool area. Cocktails in the downstairs bar area were great. All staff were friendly and helpful.

It was a great location The room was very small - maybe a foot of space between the bed and the dresser. Bathroom was decent size. Location was great- Food was excellent. Staff was very nice. Lines could be long so the service was a little slow. Buffet breakfast plentiful.

Room was small. Not much space to sit in the lobby for a hotel that caters to big groups.

Excellent location close to station and the sights. Walked everywhere and found so many great restaurants. The staff were super friendly and helped me print out my boarding passes. The breakfast was really good with a huge choice on offer

My only issue is that the lighting in the rooms is very inadequate. There should be the option to use lights with more brightness.
