Location was great

No water in the room. No kettle. Room was small, sofa bed was bed. Lighting was poor.

Great location and great breakfast!

Hotel was very convenient to get to train station and walking distance to shops and restaurants. Buffet breakfast was excellent - one of the best I had in Oslo.

The room were a little small. After checking in to the room, I paid additional to get an upgrade as it was very cramped, esp if your auitcase is big..

The location near Central Station and the Opera House is perfect, at the beginning of the shopping street Karl Johans gate. The lobby was decorated with a Christmas vibe and the staff member at checkin was very friendly. The room was nice and clean, and the breakfast was excellent and abundant.

On Sunday morning the breakfast room was overcrowded and a bit chaotic. Totally different experience on Monday morning, when it was a bit more quite and relaxt. Long waiting after breakfast with full elevators. Visited the rooftop bar for a drink and desert on Saturday evening. Received a more expensive gin than I asked for, and charged us 70 NOK for a tonic instead of the 50 NOK that was on the menu. The staff member at checkout was not awake yet and not very friendly.

I kept bumping into the bed base which protrudes a little.

The breakfast was well above standard even with a conference in the hotel there was plenty of seating and no shortage of food. The staff were were very helpful and could answer any questions with confidence. The location close to Oslo Central station and other transport was perfect.

The close proximity to Oslo S train station was the selling point . Room space is good for 4 pieces of luggage . The ensuite bathroom is big and nice touch to use different colours for the bath towels. Breakfast was wide spread too . I will choose this hotel if I come back to Oslo again .

The towel rack and hook share the same space with the shower area . The towels will definitely be wet before use . The bed was too soft and too many cushions .

The breakfast was superb, a massive selection all really fresh, the location also excellent, near the train station and public transport

The room was small and the storage was minimal, useless size shelves in the wardrobe

The hotel is really centrally located with nice comfortable rooms and a very extensive breakfast. Modern design and friendly staff. I would go back again.

Our first room had a view on the waiting area in front of the elevator; so continuously people were waiting there staring directly into our room. Luckily we could change rooms. The hotel is built for large amounts of people; it’s very busy everywhere in the hotel; from the lobby to the elevator to the breakfast.

Breakfast was very good with a wide selection. Location is excellent and very handy for the railway station.

Some more hooks or hanging space in the room would have been beneficial.

The breakfast had a very wide variety and it was really tasty. The room was cozy. There is a mini spa in the hotel, it is not much, but a nice addition. The location is excellent, a lot of sights can be reached by foot.

The elevator system is simply bad and uncomfortable. Customer service could be improved. On the first evening of our stay we couldn't sleep due to very loud music, we called the reception and they offered to "upgrade" us to a higher floor... if we pay the difference to a more expensive room. Such upgrades should not come with extra costs for the customers, especially when the hotel has free rooms anyway.

The breakfast is hardly to top! The room was good and pleasant. Only downside was that the batteries of the TV remote were not checked and that some bedlamps were damaged. The bedlamps were replaced immediately after we gave notice. Besides that little things, this hotel was a overall good experience especially for its location just a few 100m from the central station.

It was a very short walk from Oslo Central Station which we appreciated after a long train trip from Stavanger. We ate at the hotel restaurant in the evening, great food, and had breakfast at the hotel the next morning, amazing range of options.

The only issue was the very wardrobe storage is very limited if you were staying for a few days and wanted to unpack your suitcase.

Our room is very small for a standard double or twin room. Interestingly, our friends booked the same room type, but their room is much larger.

The restaurant/bar … the staff a bit stiff and try to act like luxurious informing us the restaurant was not open yet, I have been to much more luxurious hotels and the staff was super friendly and professional, not impressed at all

Good location, excellent breakfast

Problem was not small room but absolutely no space for any clothing, shoes, hand back. Maybe good for one night but not for 5 even if you have tickets for theater (corresponding dress) and some variety for bad wheather. I had no problem to order different (better) room if I had corresponding information.

Excellent location - near the central station, great for exploring around the city or travelling further afield outside of Oslo. The breakfast buffet is huge and there’s so much choice! Delicious! The staff and service were excellent - efficient, polite and helpful at all times.

This is a minor thing but some of the signage is a bit confusing! The hotel is very modern and I felt that this was at the expense of keeping some basic things (like signage to the lifts), basic!

A great central hotel. You are able to walk to all of the main attractions. Well connected, central train station and tram just outside if travelling further. Really quick and easy to get from the airport.. Clean, spacious room. Amazing breakfast - huge choice of food. Facilities were excellent - well equipped large gym and lovely sauna and plunge pool area. Cocktails in the downstairs bar area were great. All staff were friendly and helpful.

It was a great location The room was very small - maybe a foot of space between the bed and the dresser. Bathroom was decent size. Location was great- Food was excellent. Staff was very nice. Lines could be long so the service was a little slow. Buffet breakfast plentiful.

Excellent location close to station and the sights. Walked everywhere and found so many great restaurants. The staff were super friendly and helped me print out my boarding passes. The breakfast was really good with a huge choice on offer

My only issue is that the lighting in the rooms is very inadequate. There should be the option to use lights with more brightness.

Disappointing room cleaning policy - in 5 nights stay there wasn't one where the service was complete. One day they just made half of the bed (lol), on another left pillows on the floor and didn't change towels, on another didn't replace the bath mat that was taken with the dirty towels, another one they left a scrubbing cloth in the toilet... You wouldn't expect this at this price point

The hotel was well designed, very modern and an amazing location. The room was a good size, the bed was comfy and the decor was beautiful.

The spa was not maintained as well as I would’ve liked/expected. The used towels were piled up and hadn’t been cleared. The pool side and the changing rooms were covered in water which made it a dangerous slip hazard.

Fabulous location, walkable to most city attractions. We enjoyed the lobby bar and David the bartender from Barcelona was fab! The Decor in the lobby was very fun. The breakfast was the best ever, a spectacular spread! Our views of the city were fantastic. I recommend the Sunset Fijiord dinner cruise, a lovely way to end our stay.

We had pre booked and paid for a superior room. We arrived after midnight and very tired from a long journey. They tried to give us a very inferior room, but we insisted and they gave us a much better room. So it was resolved and we had a great stay after that.

A great hotel right at the railway station. The breakfast was incredible.

The price, but at that location in Oslo a traveler must just accept it.

We weren't crazy about the lighting in the room. The lights in the room came on three times during the evening without our prompting. I never could figure out why. The breakfast was amazing, but the coffee was watery and tasteless on two of the three machines we tried. The third one finally produced a decent cup of coffee.

Lovely hotel and sauna/ steam room facilities, beautiful interiors, friendly/ helpful staff, great breakfast. Perfect location. Special shout out to the superstar duo/ sisters, Iselin and Amalie, for going above and beyond to make our stay extra special and sorting our room out when there was a slight issue one evening with outside noise.

Too many cruise ship customers. I also think that I got food poisoning at the buffet. The timing corresponds to that conclusion. It’s a great buffet — but hard to keep all the food safe

Fabulous breakfast. Nice room. Excellent location and views from the room. Both bars we visited were excellent with nice drinks and great cocktails.

Couldn't fault the hotel. Oslo is a little on the pricy side, but to be honest I'd still return and would definitely stay in this hotel again.

Small rooms

Location is great, a few minutes walk from the train station. Breakfast was great with a large variety. The bed was comfortable. Sauna and pool in the hotel were very nice. We had an early morning flight and an early bird breakfast option was available and greatly appreciated.

We got a room facing the inner courtyard, and we couldn't leave the curtains open as we were facing the elevators hallway and anyone could look into the room. With the curtains closed, lighting in the room was very poor. Even though there is a coffee machine, there is no kettle in the room. Our first morning in the hotel was a Sunday, and even though there is a requirement to reserve a time slot for breakfast, the dining hall was overally crowded and it was not pleasent. Other days were fine. Long waits for the elevators (even though there are 5) Showers are a bit narrow and only suitable for one person.

Great location: few minutes walk from the Oslo Central station. There are tram stops right in front of the hotel.. Room: modern, clean rooms. Bathroom was huge by European standard. Iron and ironing board in the room You can rent umbrellas from the automated machine in the lobby..super useful for Oslo weather. Breakfast: vast selection! Huge dining space. View from the room: we had rooms on the 12th floor, overlooking the station, opera and water behind. Amazing!!

Wardrobe: a really tiny cupboard with just enough space for 3-4 hangers. Or one big jacket! Lighting: very dim lighting in the room! Makes it difficult in the evening and night. No light over the full length mirror in the room. Very poor lighting in the bathroom as well. No water was provided in the room. No kettle only a coffee machine. Too many big pillows! Quite unnecessary as they just take up space on the floor.
