Good location and price. Free coffee included in mornings, access to free gym. Room was quiet and cleaned well each day.

Flashing light on smoke alarm woke me up some nights.

Convenient location, good atmosphere, reasonably comfortable, responsive and communicative staff.

The heating system is located in the ceiling and was noisy at times. Also, I wish that there was a mini-fridge in the room.

The staff was the best - friendly and efficient, making this stay one of my best experience. The room is cozy but very small, however it is designed smartly to fit all your need. You won't have a lot of place to put your luggage tho if you have a lot of stuff.

There is no fridge or microwave in the room or in the entire hotel building.

Rooms are too small

We stayed in this hotel in april and it was great! we stayed in number 911 . It was cleaned every day with fresh towels and bed was made. Shower was great, clean and good water pressure. Staff were lovely, helped us weigh our bags before the airport and booked us a taxi. Location was great, round the corner for grand central station to go all around the city, 18 mins for rockefeller centre.

Cleanliness, Location and good staff

The heating/ac system is right over one’s head in the room i was in and sounds like an airplane taking off. It was cold and the room needed heat so there was no way to avoid the sound. Also the overhead shower makes it impossible to get soap off lower areas-shower needs a sprayer as well.

Complementary hod drinks in the morning, great gym, super location-central but relatively quiet place

I liked its location, safe to walk at night and in a nicer part of town. The free coffee and tea was also a plus.

The bathroom. I didn’t like that it had only glass as divider so you could hear everything that is going in there.

I liked the value for what I received - it was enough with coat hangers, hanging rack, and desk with space for a suitcase by the bed. Liked the breakfast available on the main floor (paid) and free coffee.

That the shower is directly across from the bed so if the door isn't fully closed, the humidity and water can get on the bed. Also that the landline phone took up a lot of desk space.

Location was perfect.

It was immaculately clean, and the staff were wonderful.

The rooms are small but that is not a drawback, and you know that going in.

Brian and all the guys/gals at the reception always go one step beyond to assist customers.

I was in the room more during the day this trip and it was a little noisier(electronic humming) during the day. Also, water from the shower kept going outside the shower because the shower curtain was a little too short

The bathroom doesn't have a door. It's fine for solo travelers, but it would be much better for couples if there was more privacy.

It's centrally located, a couple blocks from Grand Central. It's very clean and modern with an upscale bar/restaurant on the first floor. Rooms are small but comfortable with everything you need. It's reasonably priced. I'll stay there again.

It was fine, I can't think of anything negative.

The location was ideal, as it was close to many attractions. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I appreciated being able to leave my luggage in the lobby on the last day while I continued to enjoy the city. The mattress was amazing, we had such a good night's sleep!

Our room was quite small, but the daily housekeeping made it enjoyable to return to after a day of sightseeing. Unfortunately, the roof deck was under construction so we couldn’t experience that.

The water pressure was amazing! The staff was very nice and easy to work with throughout our stay. The location is probably the biggest bonus being so close to Grand Central and only about a mile from most local attractions!

The room was very small but had what was needed although a little fridge would be a wonderful add to the room as we had leftovers often and had no where to store them.

A little too acoustically exposed. Could very clearly hear cleaning crew during mornings when my girlfriend and I wanted to sleep in.

Its location for travelling was perfect. With a reasonable price, I think this would be the best option.

The heater/air conditioning was a bit loud. It was sometimes hard to sleep.

Everything required was available ..... lobby and bar (with free coffee at breakfast time) Room has bed, desk, good storage for clothes and luggage.... and ensuite with rainforest shower.

I went on a solo trip for 5 days and 4 nights, booked a single pod. I thought that the room would have been very small, but honestly I was surprised to see that it was actually perfect for just one person! There is a private bathroom, which was a must for me, with all basic amenities (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, soap bar, hairdryer), and even a TV. The best part of my entire stay was definitely the location. It is just 10 minutes by foot from Grand Central where all major subway lines are, plus it is 8 minutes from the Summit, which has a phenomenal observation experience. The main spots and monuments are in walking distance, but everything is well connected by either bus or subway. Along with that, there is housekeeping service every day which gives you fresh sheets and towels. There is also a safe, really useful. Overall, the place overly satisfied my expectations. The views from my room were great!

It will sound cliché, but as my first time for more than 2 days in nyc, the prices of accommodations in Manhattan are crazy high. For "just" 4 nights this was the cheapest option I found, but it was still very expensive. However, because I was on my own I was flexible and adapted to everything. Another thing is the open air terrace on the top of the building. Unfortunately there are currently some works going on so access was closed.

Hotel very clean, comfortable and well located. No regrets or complains.

The room was very functional with plenty of storage despite being a small space (deep drawer under the bed and a space for a suitcase, a safe and rail with hangers, plus a shelf in the bathroom for toiletries). The location is great, right by Grand Central station, and felt very safe for a solo female traveller! Highly recommend.

Some noise disturbance from the person in the room next door to mine, I don’t think the walls are very thick so I would recommend taking ear plugs.

Great location (3 blocks from Grand Central-42 St), comfortable bed, and daily housekeeping. Satisfactory private bathroom incl. hot shower water. The room includes a safe for storing valuables. Prompt maintenance service.

The room is on the smaller side. Tap water was discolored, and it was unclear where to obtain drinking water otherwise, so I resorted to drinking bottled water. No kettle or minifridge, although that is to be expected. Only 3 elevators so some waiting might be expected.

Location, price and clean

Although the room seemed small, it had everything you need in your accommodation, for someone traveling through New York. I already knew it was well located, but I only realized it was even better than I thought when I went out every morning to explore the city; everything was close to the hotel. They even made it possible, without any problem, to leave my luggage at the hotel and pick it up later, so I could enjoy my last day in the city without worries. I will definitely return on my next visit to New York.
