Hotel Cocoon Sendlinger Tor, Munich

The hotel itself has a nice design.

The parking was full when we arrived .We had to park on the street and pay by coins. Of course no coins were available and the hotel wasn't able to help us with change due to "no cash" policy. I chose this hotel because of the parking and we've lost more than an hour trying to solve the issue. The next day there was parking available in the hotel's garage with 21 euro. My colleagues couldn't sleep the first night due to a banging door over their room. There was nobody at the reception to help. The next day they checked and somebody left a door open, they changed the room upon request and said that they will have a drink on the house for a lost night of sleep :(. Nobody drank anything, that was not the point. Even though, when we checked out, one of my colleagues that had the door issue wanted a coffee to go. The hotel charged it 4 euro. :( Sad way to approach your clients.

Property is unique and maintained well

A great location. Close enough to walk to most of the sights and attractions, and close to public transport links if you prefer not to walk. The rooms are pleasant to be in and the bar area has a nice ambience. The staff were always friendly. We had a couple of issues while we were there and they were dealt with efficiently and with good humour.

The toilet was a very small room. You could easily feel claustrophobic in there and if you have long legs would struggle to fit between the toilet and the door. The app they encourage you to use to request cleaning or replacement soap etc seemed to work, but the requests were never met.

Very convenient location, clean rooms and nice bar downstairs to relax in after a day in Munich. Would definitely stay again if we are back in Munich.

Parking wasn’t available the first night of our stay so we had to find street parking which was a little inconvenient, but there was a spot available in the garage our 2nd night.

Very friendly and welcoming. Room was cosy and comfortable.

No tea/Coffee facilities in the room

The hotel is very conveniently located; we reached the center on foot in a quarter of an hour. Nearby there is a metro station and a tram stop. Excellent original and very thoughtful design. Excellent breakfast, very varied and filling. One of the best we have encountered on numerous trips. But the main advantage of the hotel is the very friendly and hospitable staff, always ready to help.

Beautiful and welcoming decor, clean, lovely room perfect for a family - great location right between two U-Bahn stops.

Pull out sofa was extremely uncomfortable

Hotel and rooms is very nice, good location very nice staff and excellent breakfast. Free water refills is good. Garage is also good.

Floor cleaning could be better. On check in, in effect between guests, they could do a better job. TV suffered many interruptions in service.

Staff were awesome and friendly

Stylish hotel with a special atmosphere. Fully automated Check-in process works fast and smoothly. The location is also nice. Breakfast was delicious too.

The rooms are great but still could be a bit bigger. The WiFi connection sometimes simply disappears although most of the time works well. The staff in general is polite, friendly, and helpful. However, some team members still need to learn a bit more about the proper client services.

See through shower door

Clean and modern room. Nice bar area downstairs with some quick and decent bar food. Convenient location close to the centre of Munich. Great value for money.

Not much. I would have liked some hair conditioner in the shower and a kettle with a small selection of teas in room.

The staff were great, the room itself was impeccably clean and thoughtfully decorated. For what we paid, we could not have wanted for anything else

We liked absolutely everything

Very comfortable room with everything we needed. Location was great, just a short walk to Sendlinger Tor. Staff were very helpful and organised a good value extension to our stay when we were stuck for an extra three days due to snow!

The building is very complicated, if you the rooms are small, the bathroom is not a bathroom. there are pieces separated. Very unfomfortable for me

The style of the room

Bed was a little hard

Loved the design atmosphere and interior - especially the bird sounds on the hallway!

There could be coffee for self service in the room.

The location was great, close to the Alt Stadt and very close to public transportation. We liked the staff, the restaurant in the lobby where we enjoyed two meals and often had coffee. The room was comfortable and clean.

Though we had a bench/window seat to sit on, it would have been nice to have a more comfortable chair.
