Exceptional
The location to the Royal Children's Hospital was excellent. Our little girl 5mths, was having open heart surgery, her 4th operation.
The suite was large and allowed us to spread out. We were there for 10 days.

Good facilities, location and staff
Overall, a good place to stay and convenient location. Bonus was watching from our window a large hot air balloon landing in the park early on Saturday morning.
The car parking is a bit complicated and annoying. Pillows a bit too fluffy. Just a couple of minor things.

Great place to stay in Melbourne
We are regulars at The Larwill when we visit Melbourne. It’s very comfortable, quiet and everything is a short tram ride. Where else can you get accessible, safe and cheap parking in the city. Close to Zoo, Museum and great open spaces/parks. It’s affordable and staff are awesome.

Excellent stay, comfortable.
Room was very cosy and theme tied in very well larwill's life.
Clean bathroom and toilet facilities
Bed was a nice size
Temperature control was lovely
Excellent location and very handy for those travelling to hospital.
Room was a little bit on the smaller side.
Elevator facility was sometimes not as clean (presumably as shared access to patients and visitors to hospital).
Unable to check in early which was alright, and just very mildly inconvenient.

Only good things to say about it
Super clean. Corridor access to royal children’s. Gym facilities. Staff were super friendly - front desk and on floor. Quiet. It’s a simple room but whatever you need is there. Great value and would definitely stay again. Right by the tr stop to the city. Park next door to walk in - 15 mins to the zoo. Cool coffee shop that makes good coffee next door

We liked that the hotel is located right next to RCH - makes it really easy for appointments. It's also easy to jump on a tram to go grab dinner.
It's also really quiet and peaceful at night, the beds are great.
Bathrooms are a perfect size with lots of room to spread out all personal stuff.

Overall good experience. Staff friendly and accomodating. Bed was amazing, very comfortable like sleeping on a cloud. I had the best nights sleep.
Pillows not great. Need better pillows to match the bed.
Free Wi-Fi was terrible. Dropped in and out constantly. Mostly unusable.

Lovely hotel in great location!
Location was great for us. We came to Melbourne for appointments at the royal children's, so it was very convenient that it was part of the same building and used the same parking which ment not having to move the car.
There was nothing not to like. I'd be nit picking to fund something. The prices of the mini bar items were extremely high, but that's expected at every hotel.

Pillows were hard. Bath over shower made for a slippery exit on wet tiles.

Great location, good clean facilities. Excellent stay for a work trip. I would recommend this hotel to others.
Great location with parks, transport and amenities.
The mini bar was very expensive. For example a very small block of chocolate was $12.

We didn’t have breakfast, didn’t know it was included, perfect place to stay having to have surgery for our son at the royal children’s and they were super helpful when he spewed throughout the bed and had immediate help. A toaster would be great to have in room. We will definitely stay again for next surgery.
It was definitely hard being one room with two kids trying to get them to sleep but that’s our issue haha. Beds could have been comfier but that’s being picky! Smart TV would have been great too as we only had normal TV.
