Great location, well-appointed and comfortable room, suitable for small family

Problems with the air conditioner (but adequately and promptly addressed by staff); lack of perks based on previous stays at the same hotel (e.g. 'loot bag', breakfast included in base rate).

The staff are amazing and friendly. Location was in easy walking distance of the city and great food and China Town. Room was a great size and light and airy, happy hour for drinks and chips was nice to relax after a day of walking and before dinner. Breakfast was at a local cafe and the food and coffee was perfect.

The hand basin in the bathroom was the smallest I have ever experience pretty much verging on useless but we forgave this based on everything being amazing. I would not stay here if you are big on anything that requires a vanity benchtop because there isn't one.

Location was great, staff was friendly and helpful, loved the free lollie and coffee bar.

The bathroom could do with a touch up. Sink was super small and there was no toilet brush.

Hotel room was bright and clean, the Memphis penthouse was spacious and the beds were really comfy. The hot tub was a nice touch! Staff left us a welcome note and lollies as well as a chilled wine on arrival.

Not sure about the other floors, but the fifth floor had stairs as soon as you came out of the lift and this meant it wasn’t very accessible for people with prams or wheelchair users.

Great location & funky hotel.

The noise between each hotel room is very clear and loud. They need better soundproofing. We could hear toilets flushing and showers and a lady next to our room coughing all night like she was in our room.
The lollies next to the lift are cute but not very hygenic as we saw people putting their hands in and grabbing lollies out instead of using the tongs provided.

Location was amazing. The hotel was cool and funky, offering great free perks such as drinks to the room, lollies and coffee. Our room was also made up beautifully by the hotel staff at housekeeping time.

Our room only had a small translucent ‘bathroom’ style window, which was fine, but unexpected given the photo of our room type included a window. We didn’t feel the need to ask for a change however as the room met our needs :)

My room in particular had sticky / wet floors and I could hear dripping throughout the night. There was a leak through the walls onto the floor which created a puddle of water. Couldn’t figure out the heater system, and there weren’t any extra blankets in the cupboards

The staff are really helpful and responsive. Attended to my queries promptly.
The room is spacious and beds are comfortable. Nicely located near Chinatown area which allows us to attend to our cravings for Chinese food. Tram stop is nearby which makes it easy to travel

The toilet basin is small and limited space to place toiletries for our family of three.
Toilet door is sliding type so you can't lock it.
Would be great if shower area has a door too to prevent water from splashing out while one shower.

I was upgraded to a 2-bed room, which I didn't need, but appreciated. It meant I could conduct the work that I needed to without feeling cramped. The hotel is simple, but nearby to the theatre, various transport and restaurant options. They've got free lollies and coffee in the lobby.

Being upgraded put me on a lower level than I anticipated, and I kind of wanted the windows to look out on light and not wall... but not a huge issue.

Nice hotel, well located with excellent staff.

Fantastic location, close to everything, amazing staff free wine and beer for happy hour and a free lolly buffet!

We unfortunately had a room with a double bed, and we are used to a king size bed. I found out afterwards if we had of asked for a king size or a queen bed we could’ve had a different room just something to remember for next time.

Great hipster-like hotel. Very professional and nice staff. Nice touch with candy, tea, coffee and water for free at all times in the lobby. Good value for money! No breakfast in the hotel but very sweet cafe just across the street with great breakfast menu. I would return.

The vibe is sooo good. The front desk staffs are very professional. Very big room and good taste of the room design.

One of the TV in our living room does not work well with the phone sharing but it’s fine we use the bedroom one more.

Friendly staff, spacious rooms, all very clean and lots of freebies like happy hour and laundry. Great location. WiFi hit and miss but otherwise very much recommend!

Quiet location near Parliament and the theatre district. Great having a kitchen and separate lounge room and bedrooms for family to relax. One train stop from the MCG.

No balconies, but can't change that.

No direct daylight made the room and view very gloomy. Wifi was often slow.
