The cost of breakfast was really quite expensive considering you had to buy coffee on top.

Love the pool area on 27th floor and the buffet breakfast.

That there is little security at the lift area, which is directly adjacent to the Casino. An intoxicated man entered our lift on level 1 and tried to get off at the same floor as my daughter and I. It made us feel unsafe being two females with nobody else around.

We arrived after the most awful day having our son have his leg amputated due to bone cancer. We had unfortunately had our pre-provided accommodation taken away from us on this awful day, so needed to find somewhere to stay (we do not live local to Melbourne). As this was a last minute booking, the room was well-priced and in a location we knew would offer easy access to food (we were exhausted), and a place to be comfortable and to feel safe and secure while we waited for middle-of-the-night news as to our son's well-being. Staff were lovely, check in was easy, room was beautifully clean, bed was comfortable to rest our bone-weary bodies

The room was very spacious, with a great view. All staff, at various times, were friendly and helpful. The pool was great (apart from the overly strict life guards!).

Upgraded room. Was very nice and great view of the city.

No toilet brush in the toilet. No biscuits to have with the tea or coffee. Otherwise no complaints.

Breakfast room service could have been better. There was no number to call to make changes to the meal or complain once received it, and no comment box when ordering to make any changes to the menu. The pool was full and there was not enough sun beds for the amount of people. I wanted to relax and watch the kids in the pool but there was no where to sit as the chairs/lounges were all taken.

After paying for $100 for two for a buffet breakfast (which is very expensive for what was on offer), I was disappointed to pay $8:50 on top for a coffee. I thought this should have been included in the price.

Location and easy to get to and from the city. Room was really spacious. Loved the adults only time at the pool. This should be made longer than the current 2hrs.

Booked a King city view room, but was given a low floor room with a view of a rooftop carpark and a freeway. Not as I expected and not the Melbourne City View I expected. Oh the pool in the afternoon, way too many kids screaming and running around. I got to the door and turned around and walked out. No consideration for other guests without children wanting a relaxing experience. Children should be restricted from using the pool from 5pm to 10pm. Giving adults more than the current 2hrs of adults only time.

The pillows were quite uncomfortable. Really flat and felt like we were sleeping on nothing. We did get additional pillows brought up which helped. Our room view was a concrete carpark which wasn't ideal, especially when someone was doing burnouts in the middle of the night, but that isn't the hotels fault and it was just for 1 night

Loved the room and location

We were in a room for two on our ten year wedding anniversary, and when we got into the room found we were put into a conjoining room. We didn’t think this would be an issue, however as we were trying to relax in the afternoon/evening it was overtaken by screaming children through the door. This became an issue again at 0530 in the morning when we were woken to children through the door from the room next door, crying and screaming out. So disappointing to pay for a room and have it disrupted like this. We’ve never had this issue at crown before.

Nice facilities and very well located. Valet staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming.

Stayed for 2 nights and room did not get serviced. Lady on check in desk was unfriendly.

Room wasn’t very clean - there was hair in the toilet on arrival, handprints on the windows, and quite a bit of dust inside the closet and around the beds. The TVs also need n upgrade.

I love how you can do lots of things in the one venue. Its a good place where adults can do their things and lots of things kids can do.

The Crown complex is extremely convenient. You really don't have to leave the property.

The lighting in the room is a little confusing. I didn't like that random people could use the elevators to each floor. For example, young boys were able to access the pool floor and they were not staying in the hotel.

Good overall stay lovely hotel in a great location.

The pool was not available due schedule maintenance……nothing on the website prior to booking or during checkin was mentioned. Schedule maintenance dictates a planned time to conduct maintenance.This would be useful information for guests prior to booking especially during school holidays . May I suggest if you are doing, “scheduled maintenance”, conduct this during the pool closure times in the late evening not during the morning after it’s open. This is a well established high standard hotel we were not expecting this. Pool staff advised us to walk to the other 2 Crown Hotels if we would like to use a pool. Fairly sure our room keys for the Metropol would not gain us lift access or pool/gym access in another hotel…..?

Rooms feels a bit dated, tv very old no streaming or casting available, was a family trip so that was missed. Movies available to purchase for $19 each. Breakfast not included in the hotel but lots of options nearby

Location was good to be within the crown precinct. The room was quite large and the HVAC worked well.

Not quite 5 star, it’s starting to look a little tired. The spa area needs a good clean.

Got double charged for parking had to to service desk to tell them took abit of time and then when we checked out left somthing in the room and they took well over 45mins for someone to get it for us so dont recommend leaving behind anything

Check-in process was easy and staff were pleasant.

Mr Hive breakfast was veeeeery limited and average. The fact in the bathroom you didn't really have privacy as one wall is exposed making use the toilet rather uncomfortable.

Wonderful big room with comfortable beds and a great shower. Well located to everything we wanted to do in Melbourne. Close to the action but not on top of the casino.

The central heating/cooling turned on and off loudly every 30 seconds or so all night. Caused us all disrupted sleep.

Twin room was fine for 2 adults and 2 children, weird bathroom configuration with no closing the bathroom off to the bedroom ??? so no real privacy in bathroom....Pool was so crowded I turned around and went back to room lots of kids/families
