We love the lowry it's our favourite hotel when we stay in manchester. Friendly helpful staff. Gorgeous comfortable rooms. Wouldn't stay anywhere else.

We’ve stayed here many times over many years when visiting family in the area. Parking is available which is a huge bonus in Manchester City Centre. The rooms are bigger than average and are consistently well kept.

We’ve never had breakfast here as it has not been included in the room rate and very expensive. It would be fabulous if there were a least a coffee stand selling drinks and pastries/muffins in the (huge) lobby - as per American hotels. It would really be a nice touch as the nearest coffee shop/cafe is a walk over the bridge into the main shopping area.

Great ambience and facilities, a hotel that exudes class. Good gym, spa and excellent restaurant. The setting, looking out over the river is lovely.

The parking spaces a little tight

Very attentive staff, superb breakfast. Very comfy beds. Easy parking.

Air con was quite noisy which I mentioned and we got a fan. Disappointed that Spotify didn't work on the TV

I was upgraded, so I cannot comment on the room I was going to have. But the upgraded room was superb!

Unfortunately television/media did not work. Reported it but obviously wasn’t fixed for our one night stay

From the moment I arrived, the doorman was so courteous and helpful, I arrived early so was unable to check in immediately, but explained I was attending a meeting. The reception quickly took my details and luggage for storage, and advised when I returned that I could collect my room key. The Manager and all staff in the bar were wonderful and very welcoming, and the cocktails were amazing. I look forward to my return.

Lovely hotel, helpful staff, amazing breakfast

Reception team were friendly and efficient. Really liked the extra touch of calling the room after check in to check we were happy with the room and if we needed anything. The only thing that changed my score from a 10 to an 8 was the arrival at the restaurant for breakfast, 4 staff members walking around and we not acknowledged until the door host came from out the back. The same thing happened to another 3 guests that came in once we had been seated. It felt a little disorganised.

This is about 5th 6th time staying here!! It is superb!! The rooms are beautiful!!

From the staff, to the piano, to the room, to the restaurant, to the environment, just great. Would definitely be back.

Excellent stay! Welcoming staff on arrival called Erick. Really went above and beyond. Little touches like upgrading our room and chocolates with a happy birthday message as it was my husbands 40th.

Birthday trip, staff were helpful and friendly.l made a request for rooms next to eachother as we had 2 - was given connecting rooms which was amazing!

Room was very spacious and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was amazing

There were no complementary snacks or drinks in the room which is what I was expecting.

Location is excellent

Lovely atmosphere in the whole place. Staff were helpful, friendly and made us feel very welcome and comfortable. Breakfast was exceptionally good and the restaurant food was also extremely good. The location was great and we were able to walk to most places we visited.

That we couldn't stay longer

Breakfast was excellent and we had a room upgrade, the room was beautiful and clean, we would definitely stay again.

The breakfast was the best buffet breakfast I have had in hotels over the years. The scrambled eeggs were moist buttery,good quality sausages and bacon. Staff were attentive and service was prompt.

We absolutely loved the hotel, staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, rooms were a good size with lovely soft bedding, the location was perfect too.

Gorgeous hotel, we was greeted by such friendly staff the minute we walked in we arrived a few hours earlier than our check in time to leave our cases whilst we waited but she was so helpful that our room was actually ready when we arrived so she sorted us to our rooms as soon as we got there, nothing seems to much trouble for them they will help with anything you need, our room was spot on, lovely view from our window, toiletries including shower caps and hair ties, robes and slippers, safety deposit box which actually works, silk hangers for delicate clothing, mini bar fully stocked with wine, cider, larger, spirits and soft drinks as well as sparkling and still waters and a snack counter fully stocked with crisps, trail mix, sweets. Nuts, honey, popcorn and chocolate, the tea and coffee that was provided too the tea was so nice, we ordered room service for our evening meal and the lady who brought the food to our room was so polite and helpful, the food was fresh and hot and tasted incredible, same vibe at checking out friendly kind and warm hospitality. Definitely recommend this hotel.

We had no dislikes about this hotel we would definitely recommend to anyone thinking of staying here and we will definitely be making this our new Manchester hotel choice.

Everything . The concierge, Mo, was very welcoming, professional and friendly, as were the upstairs bar staff. Nothing was too much trouble, including ,providing something off the menu. Highly recommend!!
