The Lowry Hotel is a luxurious and modern hotel situated on the banks of the River Irwell. This high-rise building is a key component of Manchester’s skyline, and its all-glass appearance makes it impossible to miss. With an ultra-chic foyer, complete with massive ceilings, tons of space, contemporary lighting, and clean lines, this space encapsulates the atmosphere of the entire hotel.
Choose from five different spacious floor plans: deluxe king double, superior king double, a suite with a river view, executive king, or a junior suite. Decent location, stunning hotel with extremely pleasant staff that you couldn’t find fault with, would stay again in future if we had another event on.
One of my only criticisms of the hotel was that the pillows were the worst id ever used in my life, completely flat with absolutely no neck support which for a hotel of its standard was very poor. Alongside perhaps the fire alarm flashing every 30 seconds or so, which is a bit distracting as you’re trying to sleep in the dark.

Premium stay in great part of town
Very much a 5 Star feel on arrival. Light airy lobby into which they've managed to lift a Porsche. Celebrating 25 years this year The Lowry still looks pristine.

Enjoyed the stay as the room was great and the hotel is well placed for Manchester City centre being a short walk away.
Great location, room was clean and spacious with a view of the river.
The building itself looks like an office block with little character. For a 5 star hotel the lobby was little better than a premier inn.
