Great location, and lovely hotel.

It is a beautiful hotel, very spacious and clean. The staff in the lobby and on the door were excellent very friendly and welcoming. The room was very comfortable.

We thought it was near the Lowry theatre, we should have checked first though! There is no pool or sauna. The staff in the breakfast restaurant were not attentive to us and treated us differently to other guests.

The welcoming staff the location the cleanliness everything about our stay was fab even our dog loved it.

We always book the Lowry when visiting Manchester. It’s in a great location and a lovely hotel

Lovely hotel, clean, well equipped and spacious room. The staff were exceptional - all friendly and helpful. Lovey food and service. Small but well-equipped gym.

Not the hotel’s fault but bridge over river to city centre is closed for renovations and so takes a few minutes longer to get there.

Really lovely hotel and the staff were very welcoming.

Water pressure in shower was very low and the pillows weren’t great quality.

It’s all a little tired now after many years of visiting. Net curtains in room 227 had rips in them. The floor tiling leading past the toilets to the restaurant were shabby. However Denilson in the restaurant was excellent.

Excellent, attentive, and genuinely friendly staff. An exceptional breakfast. Spacious, well-appointed rooms. The bed was incredibly cozy and delivered one of the best nights sleep!

Paying an additional £32 per night for parking

We received a warm welcome. Our cases were taken to the room. The room was lovely and spacious and bed very comfortable. Very good service in the Restaurant on Saturday evening and the food was excellent. The Staff at breakfast were very pleasant and there was a great choice of fruit and pastries, as well as buffet English Breakfast and a la carte! My omelette was delicious. Nothing was too much trouble.

I love the ambience of the bar and lounge area and it was exactly as I remembered it from a few years ago, as I was hoping it would be... The furnishings are slightly jaded, but a refurb should definitely keep the same feel. Just some of the fabrics have faded a little with time. The car park was very expensive, even for Hotel guests.

The location was excellent for city centre but in a quieter area so no external noise. Facilities were great , especially the spa which was excellent. Staff were attentive and helpful. Room was spacious, very clean and well appointed. Parking onsite which was very helpful, albeit it a little expensive.

We had a lovely overnight stay here. The room was huge, with plenty of space to move around and relax. The large table was ideal for the laptop, slippers and robes are included, and the TV included all the Sky channels, including Sky Sports. Heating worked very quickly too. The staff at check-in were very nice and easy to talk to.

Breakfast was very expensive so we opted to go elsewhere. For a 5-star hotel you'd expect there to be some extra complimentary things in the room, but there was only tea and coffee. Parking is a bit pricey but it's convenient.

Just a room only booking but was given a free upgrade into a lovely room. The hotel is where it is so not the most wonderful location but its excellent staff and facilities make up for that. A great night's stay!

The mattress was too soft and the pillows could do with an upgrade as they had seen better days. The shower wasn’t the most powerful.
