The Cow Hollow Hotel, Manchester

Staff were so lovely and couldn’t have been more helpful! Took my mum for a weekend away to celebrate her birthday with some shopping, staff were incredibly welcoming from the second we walked in, it was mentioned briefly in passing when we were checking in the reason for our stay and when we went up to the room they had left a note in the room wishing her a happy birthday which was such a lovely touch that put a smile on her face. The bed was very comfy, and the breakfast was nice (especially the chocolate croissant!) The location couldn’t have been better for what we needed.

There was a fair amount of stairs but that wasn’t a problem at all, and staff always offered to help with luggage so it really wasn’t a problem for us

Choice for breakfast

The hotel exceeded our expectations. The property was clean, with many amenities and with very friendly staff.

There was nothing that we didn’t like.

The characterful luxury styling, the attentiveness of staff, room service, information pack, breakfast in bed - just the general feeling of being cossetted from the moment of arrival until we left.

Amazing room and a comfortable bed. The decor was lovely. The little touches of sweets to go that extra mile for customer service. They also offered a glass of free prosecco between 5pm-7pm and cookies & milk before bed, but we didn't take advantage of this! The breakfast was lovely.

The only negatives we can say was the unsteady flooring in the room we were in and the drainage 😂 The shower and sink filled up quite quickly before being able to drain.

The decor was amazing quirky and very stunning. The staff where so friendly and welcoming and very helpful. Love the idea of cookies and milk before bed brilliant place highly recommend.

Room was very small for the price. Pillows not good. No way to make tea or coffee in the room.

Cool pad. Lovely decor. Breakfast was simple but tasty and hit to spot, good choc croissant & fresh oj.

Small room. I was travelling for work and could have done with a little more space to do some work in the room. There were communal areas I could have used. But I was whacked and wanted to stay in my room.

The style. The processo and breakfast were also a lovely touch

For a last minute booking the Cow Hollow Hotel exceeded my expectations! The bed was very comfortable and it's well positioned in Northern Quarter. But the staff were wonderful and friendly, sweets on arrival and free Prosecco in the evenings made this a very enjoyable work trip.

Room was really comfy and clean, bathroom was a bit small and there wasn't a table so breakfast was a bit more awkward to eat

Cow Hollow Hotel was a lovely place to stay in the centre of Manchester. Lots of little luxuries provided, the bed was really comfortable. The staff couldn't do enough for you, really friendly & helpful.

It was a brilliant stay apart from the shower.

It should be made clear ahead of booking that the showers are "eco showers" and low pressure + low heat. It can be quite an important part of the decision making process (especially when only one night with travel the following day.)

Calm and trendy vibe! Absolutely great and comfortable stay. The staff are so friendly and super accommodating to any requests. The milk and cookies before bed was such a treat and was lovely waking up to the breakfast in bed! Top 5 hotels I’ve ever stayed in for vibe, comfort , staff and the extra details they go above and beyond on
