Shower was hot but I couldn’t get it as hot as I’d like even going past the ‘safety’ by pressing the button on the tap

Lovely service, quick to check in room basic but did for what we needed.

One tiles on bathroom floor was cracked so made it loose plus two connected to it made it bit wobbly

The receptionist was so nice, without asking she checked us in early, I'm pregnant so this was hugely appreciated after a bit of a nightmare journey to Manchester, she asked what our plans were and recommended travel to the event we were attending. The room was spotless, the bed was comfy and the Aircon was much appreciated. The location was ideal and the price point was reasonable.

Right opposite Piccadilly Station. Great public areas. Late bar. Nice room. Very clean. Very comfy bed. Air con. Very good value for money.

The shower was a bit weedy.

Professional and friendly staff - very pleasant rooms and a fantastic breakfast. I have stayed there many times over the years and wouldn't think of staying anywhere else in Manchester. Brilliant location next to Manchester Piccadilly Station.

Lovely hotel and staff on reception very helpful and welcoming. The room was clean and tidy.

There didn't seem to be a kettle in the room and could only use the TV for the radio. This didn't really bother us but that's the only negatives I can think of.

Good central location. comfy bed and very quiet room, nice modern bathroom. The Continental breakfast was very good with lots of options.

Lack of choice of teas in the room, no biscuits, plastic cups and no separate glasses for water. No bedside tables either! Felt a few niceties from the room were missing for the price paid.

The location was excellent; the quality and state of repair of the bathroom exceeded my expectations and everything was cleaned to a high standard

It is a beautiful place, modern design, great beds with the best pillows, at least for me!!! All rooms had a/cs which we enjoyed it very much as the days we visited Manchester it was really hot. The breakfast was a continental cold buffet, basic but very sufficient to our needs. We were very content that rooms are having European sockets next to the beds, something we unpleasantly found out about other big English cities even in London for not having. Also even though the hotel is right under the Piccadilly train station which it was very convenient for our transportation, we weren't affected by any noise or unpleasant nuisance. We would definitely return if ever again in Manchester.

Easy to get from the train station. Convenient for shops. We were going to a gig at Ardwick O2 and asked about buses but staff said it was an easy walk and it was. Air con was most helpful but it was also good to have the option to open a window. Staff were very polite and well mannered. View from room was great, could see over to Gorton Monastery! Rooms were quiet and comfortable.

Only thing was the extractor fan in the bathroom didn’t come on automatically and there didn't seem to be a switch outside or inside.

Breakfast was nice, was impressed with soft boiled eggs.

Room was far too hot and took ages to cool down. Needs a table/surface near mirror in room - once shower is used the bathroom mirrors are unusable for over an hour! Didn’t realise breakfast was continental, would prefer cooked.

The property is very well located, the staff is very kind and helpful, and the lobby and breakfast are amazing.

I do think the the room could be upgraded a bit. The carpet on the floor felt a bit old. Nonetheless, it is a fantastic deal for the price.

It was an excellent hotel. Amazing value for money and far better than Premier or Travellodge. Spotlessly clean and bar open after concerts so massive bonus for me. Location was perfect. Staff amazing. However disappointed to see that when I went to make a new booking for mid July last night, the room price had tripled!

Room price has tripled for July which is disappointing as I was going to rebook. I will wait until the nearer the date to see if the price falls.

Great location, comfortable bed and good continental breakfast.

Unfortunately given wrong directions to the tram to the Etihad stadium and we had to walk along way back to correct area which was across the road from the hotel.

Excellent value. Only complaint would be the lack of bedside tables . Everything you need in a great location. Highly recommend Moose Coffee house for cooked breakfast just up the road!

The view from the room was good. The bed was comfortable. The towels are fluffy. The location was very handy for the railway station

It's not possible to plug the wash basin to run a basin of water to wash your face, no plug. Room is small compared to other Motel One hotels I've stayed in. It's a good, comfy hotel but just not as polished as Glasgow, Edinburgh or Barcelona.

Great location right next to the Manchester Piccadilly train station, clean, comfortable, friendly staff.

No microwave or refrigerator in room, just a kettle. 13 pounds for a continental breakfast is pretty expensive. Does no one offer free continental breakfast anymore?

I've forgotten my personal stuff in the hotel, and I wasn't expected to get it back, but the staff are really helpful and sweet, now I can have my stuff back, and I strongly recommend this hotel!
