Motel One Piccadilly, Manchester

I loved how the staff were very friendly when I arrived, they helped me check in nice and easy. The room was small but I didn't expect anything huge, was very clean and fancy, loved the decor and the whole feel. Felt very safe within the hotel itself

Location, comfortable bed. Quiet on floor 13, despite being city centre, adjacent to railway terminus.

Carpet could have done with having the hoover run over it a bit more thoroughly.

Some chairs in reception were uncomfortable and broken . Room too warm even when thermostat was turned down . Car park expensive.

odd proximity of toilet seat to basin; had to twist body to sit on the seat at an angle. Bathroom drain smelled bad; can see why when you look through the metal drain grill!

The location of the hotel was ideal. Clean and presentable with all the mod cons. The shower facilities were excellent, and fluffy towels are a nice to have.

Lack of bins in the room, only one in the bathroom. The carpets need an update. One light was not working. The heating took its time to warm up the room.

Small but really clean modern bathroom. Great smelling body wash & handsoap. Really comfy firm beds. The staff were friendly & the lobby is clean, trendy & modern.

The carpet in the bedroom waa an unattractive brown that looked a little worn & dirty.

For the price, there was an excellent choice on offer and we were very satisfied. Those who prefer a full English cooked breakfast may be a little disappointed though.

There was a gap under the door to our room, so the light from the corridor shone through, but that's a minor irritation.

This was no frills, but the room had everything you would need. Exceptionally comfortable bed and great location. Staff were superb.

Bedside tables would have been useful in room. Also one of the ceiling lights had a fault but no big deal.

Modern hotel with small but adequate rooms. Just 2 minutes walk from Piccadilly Station. Nice bar area to sit and relax. Breakfast area also looked pleasant. Easy to find. Good value for a city centre hotel.
