City centre location

Asked a member of staff on reception for directions, wasn't very helpful as didn't know, but she didn't ask anyone else if they could help.

The hotel is in a great central location.The reception and communal areas are lovely. Also the staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

I upgraded to a higher floor room with city view. In my opinion it wasn't worth the £50 a night extra (normally £65).

Room was clean and modern, really comfortable with all the amenities needed, location was really central to access restaurants all within walking distance.

The hotel does not have a Car Park like advertised; there is an NCP carpark 8- 10min walk from the hotel, not great if you have luggage with you.

Perfect location and nice hotel, however, incredibly hard bed!! Additionally,I would’ve like the breakfast to be included in the price.but that’s just me …

On our arrival we entered into a clean spacious reception and the reception staff were very welcoming . Check in was quick and easy , Our room was a nice size it had everything and was lovely and clean . The hotel is very central and easy to find .

only fault is there isn’t great signage to say it’s The Edwardian . I think this will be because of the age and style of the building .

A hotel that feels classy and backs it up with great rooms, gym, sauna and pool, not to mention the very reasonable restaurant and the bar.

I felt the room lacked a few small items that hotels of this standard normally have.

The spa was the best part of our stay. Liked the aesthetic of the spa, lobby areas and restaurant. We had a good sleep.

Parts of the room were tired and in need of a refresh. The bathroom was quite small.

We were not informed about sauna being out of service and pillows were very uncomfortable. Otherwise, very nice hotel.

The location was great and the staff were very friendly. Breakfast was a buffet and had variety. Room has all the amenities needed, but needs to make several fixtures to the room.

Wish there was parking closer to hotel

Everything about the hotel was fantastic. The staff were very friendly which the most important aspect to me.

Lovely hotel. Little late getting the room ready but compensated with a drink at the bar. Didn’t use all the facilities but we only stayed one night

Fabulous staff throughout hotel, breakfast was delicious and a great variety. The bar was lovely atmosphere & spa facilities fabulously relaxing. Pool is such a delight, calm music, water is warm- like a lagoon, hot tub too, lovely steam, sauna rooms and experience showers, plus well equipped large gym. Robes & towels in room & getting lift direct to and from in them to spa is easy so just put swimwear on in room & collect towels provided in spa too . The hotel room beds are so comfortable & pillows, duvet you melt into for best nights sleep! Thanks so much for the special bday treat and card in room too. Can’t wait to return!

We had such a lovely stay here, the spa, staff, and breakfast was all amazing. Really helpful staff who found my ring after I realised I had forgot it there, and had it sent back to me which I have now received. They also added a dessert into our room as it was my boyfriend’s birthday. The spa facilities were perfect, this has easily become our favourite hotel in Manchester compared to all the others we have stayed in!

Clean, modern aesthetic look! Clean, private & classy.

Great welcome at reception from Kyaw, who efficiently checked us in. We have stayed at this hotel before so knew what to expect, but the rooms were just as good as we remembered, with very comfy beds. The cocktails in Peter Street Kitchen are amazing and the breakfast was really good too. We love this hotel for it's location, just off Deansgate an so central for everything we love to do whilst in the city.

Great location with a mix of old and contemporary designs. Staff friendly and rooms very well appointed.

Most hotel breakfast buffets are dreadful but I was really impressed with The Edwardian’s offerings - coconut water as one of the juices, actual fresh, ripe fruit rather than bullets, beautifully cooked scrambled eggs and good quality bacon and sausages and black pudding. My room was lovely and comfortable, proper black-out blinds and even had an extra spare pillow. Absolutely nothing to fault the hotel (apart from the strange truffle popcorn to avoid guest allergies) - and will stay again when we next meet up friends in the city.

Only slight issue was the room could have been cleaner, a few small stains on the bedding and just a touch dusty in areas but all in all a lovely room

A parking discount should be applicable as it's very expensive to park in the local car parks.

The best place we have stayed in the UK. From the room, to the food, to the staff and location. 10/10.
