Fabulous welcome, lovely staff. Beautiful building. Nothing too much trouble , great atmosphere , sophisticated without being pretentious.
Rooms are luxurious and bedding is crisp and inviting.
Stayed in several hotels in Manchester but I think this is one of the best.
Added bonus having some famous footballers at breakfast was a nice treat.

Breakfast little slow but a minor issue.

Brilliant location and superb breakfast, much improved from when we last had breakfast there.

At previous stays around Christmas we got champagne with small mice pie which I thought was a lovely touch.

No decorations at entrance to hotel which they have previously.

The location was central and close to everything. Room was really nice and clean.

I love this hotel, this our go to hotel in Manchester. It really is a 5* that offers a bespoke and luxury stay. I love the hotel location, service, rooms and atmosphere. If you prefer a smaller feel hotel, it’s great. Service in bigger 5* hotels in the city can often feel mediocre, but not this one! Can’t wait to return again next year.

Hotel was amazing, Staff fantastic. Met by Nigel, very polite and warm, booked in by Tinksey?, patient and informative and served by Ryan in the restaurant, attentive and efficient. Overall really professional polite staff throughout the hotel

Great location, lovely breakfast. Our 4th stay, and very happy with everything! Good sized room with a very comfy bed. Glass of Champagne on arrival is a nice touch.

Probably the best hotel we have stayed in , huge room , huge bed ( very comfortable) huge bathroom with excellent shower

No shaver socket , the ladies attitude to when we were checking out , didn’t even bother to ask now or stay was , very sour faced , whereas the lovely lady when we checked in was so helpful and very pleasant

It’s an amazing hotel, can’t wait to return

Breakfast menu and the breakfast itself was great, gorgeous room and decor! Our room felt really luxurious with our own balcony, very spacious. Couldn't have asked for anything else.

A really nice welcome, pulled up outside and car was taken away and parked, all luggage placed nicely, hung up in my room. Welcome glass of champagne and first class service - Easily on a par if not better than first class London Hotels.

Always a warm welcome with valet parking, and a glass of champagne at check in we feel relaxed from the moment we arrive. The staff are amazing, including in the restaurant & breakfast team. They seem to anticipate a need before you realise it’s there! We also love the Sterling Bar & live music it’s a perfect way to finish the evening. It’s our second stay & we will definitely be back !

Beautiful and sympathetic renovation of a fabulous old stock exchange building that is truly sumptuous and quite pleasantly intimate. Location is excllent and the staff were a joy!

I did not think it was clear that the Sterling bar was not open on Sunday and Monday. We stayed in an Arthur Hope Room which whilst being adequate in size and facilities was not quite as big as I had anticipated. Very little room between the end of the bed and the dressing table.

Everything! From the champagne on arrival to the staff putting our bags in the taxi for us. It is so luxurious, yet homely. The beds are like sleeping in a cloud and the breakfast was exceptional. 10/10 can't wait to come back.

The only improvement possible would be a spa in the hotel.
