Can not complain about anything

Beautiful heritage building originally the stock exchange as the name suggests. Lots of original features, beautiful marble even the original vault door in the basement cocktail bar. Breakfast was served in the beautiful domed ceiling restaurant and was delicious. We were greeted at the door by Nigel the concierge who took our luggage and parked our car, he was like a member of the family welcoming us to his home and went above and beyond to help us in any way he could and made our stay. The rooms and bathrooms were extremely well appointed and very comfortable. The whole hotel feels very quietly and tastefully luxurious. I would highly recommend a stay here, definitely the best hotel experience I’ve ever had.

The staff were AMAZING!!! Champagne welcome drink on arrival. A private tour of the history of the hotel by the best concierge we’ve ever met! (Paul)!!!! The staff literally couldn’t have been more helpful or nicer. So thank you!!!! Perfect location of restaurants, shopping and train station!!! Bed was super comfortable!

Staff went above and beyond to make our stay super relaxing and welcoming . The welcome drink and easy check in was a bonus great first impression of the hotel

From the moment I walked in to the moment I left, I felt welcome and relaxed, especially after having been greeted by friendly and welcoming staff on entry and offered a glass of champagne. All staff I encountered during my stay were friendly, informative, efficient and accommodating. The room was beautiful and huge! I wish I had booked my stay for a longer period of time rather than just one night, but I will definitely be returning the next time I am in Manchester. Also, the breakfast was delicious.

Not really an issue with the property, but noise outside of property was extremely loud, and did keep me up most of the night, however I appreciate this is not a hotel issue as such!

Great location, elegant, well maintained

The staff from start to finish were exceptional! The location was incredible - surprising quiet for where it is in the city. The building and rooms just oozed glamour and class!

The building is very impressive with a rich interesting history. The staff attention to detail and help when there was a little hiccup was superb.

I cannot think of anything negative to say about our stay.

It’s one of my favourite hotels in Manchester. Location, decor and service. I think it would be improved if it had its own bar but the bar below is great.

Attentive staff. Beautiful bar area and a glass of complimentary champagne. The whole hotel was stunning and elegant and smelt divine. I loved the stairwell.
