The Edwardian Hotel, Manchester

I liked everything about this hotel. The staff were wonderful, always smiling and helpful. Our bedroom was comfy and very well designed. Bar, restaurants and theatres are nearby.

Fantastic location, decent Breakfast.

The toilet door and room connections door was not very sound friendly. Some of the stuff looked like that it was a favour for us that they are working .

The hotel manager was exceptional

The hotel is very welcoming. It’s a nice laid out hotel with different features from Manchester.

There could be a few more things going on in the foyer and they could open the bars longer than 10 pm for people that would like a drink after their meal in the evening

Breakfast was incredible, they were extremely accommodating. The location was perfect, right next to the tram so travel was easy. Food spots all around :)

Location was good and recommended carpark was very close, and discounted so very good. Although there are steps if you are carrying a lot like I was, is a short-term pain. Cole on Concierge duty - what an incredible chap, totally understands how to make a customer feel special, and valued, couldn't do enough for me, polite and wonderful beaming smile on arrival too - he's a credit to the hotel Facilities very nice, didn't use the dining area, but the pool which although small was very nice, sauna and steam room too. Lovely room too - thank you again Cole.

In room dining, was delivered by a lovely lady but have to say the burger and chips was pretty bland, not a great deal of flavour at all. 6/10 Also, while you are charged a £3.50 additional amount for having in room dining which I understand there was also a £2.50 service charge, which luckily I spotted - and it was kindly removed, this I thought was a bit cheeky as surely this is covered in £3.50? and I wonder how many don't spot it? Exceeding temps meant that maybe the air con was struggling as wasn't the best.

Liked Suite 1411 because we could open the window and had a balcony. Faced a quiet side of the building. The shower was unbelievable - the best water flow we have experienced anywhere. The bed was firm and the hotel found firm pillows for us. All you had to do was ask; e.g. for firm pillows, a better iron, extra sheets, anything. The room decor was beautiful. Lighting was good too and easy to mange.

A pity there was not a sink in the bar/fridge area. Some additional shelving in the sink area would have been nice too. Air conditioning struggled a bit in the heat. Struggled to find food that suited us in Peters restaurant even withe sauces on the side.

2 lifts for a hotel with over 250 rooms is ridiculous, waiting time for them is easily 15 minutes. We tried to take the stairs which ended up only being a fire escape and no access to the ground floor due to the doors being locked and no through route so had to go back up to the lift and wait longer

This hotel is one of the best I have ever stayed at. Not only is the hotel stunning and in a central location, but the staff here truly make this place special. I stayed here the night before and the night of my wedding and the staff went over and above to make everything perfect and were honestly so accommodating. I have to give a special mention to Garry, who went above and beyond for me during my stay here. He organised a space for the wedding car, transferred everything over to the second room for me, and was just so approachable and amazing! Give that man a raise! Can’t recommend this place enough! Especially for a special occasion!

Beautiful hotel, excellent location.

Myself and my son travelled to watch Manchester United play, we were very well looked after by Anna on arrival, including arranging transport to and from the match for us - this was very helpful as my son is 10, and I preferred not to have to use public transport on match day. The hotel breakfast was very good, the bar was a good place to chill out - and the hotel is located just across the road from Blacklock which was a brilliant steak restaurant to eat at.

The rooms were a bit dated and i would have expected a higher standard of bedding and furniture in the room.

We had a wonderful family weekend, here for the Manchester Marathon. The location was perfect being so centrally positioned for restaurants, trams, train stations and shops. The staff were really helpful when checking in and booking the spa for our large group. Breakfast was delicious and we loved the celebration cakes to toast my son's completion of the Marathon. We would definitely stay here again.

The Hotel was very tastefully decorated, keeping the original features but with a modern touch.

Lifts were very busy as one wasn’t working which caused longer than normal waits.

The hotel was opposite the convention centre, which was extremely handy. It was easy to walk to restaurants and shops. The room was spacious and comfirtable.

Central location is great - it's a short walk to the shopping and entertainment area. Room was clean and very comfortable. We had a city view which was interesting but you should bear in mind that Manchester's skyline isn't the most attractive. Facilities in the hotel were great. We love Peter Street Kitchen as the food is amazing. We also enjoyed the Library Champagne bar. There was good choice for breakfast and the staff throughout the hotel were so friendly and helpful. Bartosz in the champagne bar went above and beyond to get me a particular cork for our collection at home

The lifts are a nightmare at busy time. We had to wait 5-10 mins to get one and then it took us as long to get from the 11th floor down to the ground because it stopped on every floor.

This hotel is great value for money. From the moment you enter and get welcome by the team, to the room I got upgraded to a Suite and it was spacious, quiet and very comfy The Gym and the SPA is great

I have been trying different hotels in Manchester to find a suitable hotel to revisit, nowhere had hit the right standard until I stayed at the Radisson, the hotel is fantastic - the facilities are exceptional - the pool area, gym and restaurants. The staff were some of the best I have experienced in the UK and that is due to consistency - all of the staff were exceptional. Even interactions with the housekeeping staff and the team in the Library went out of their way to get me a meal outside of their usual operating hours - I will be back and I would highly recommend the hotel to everyone - business traveller or leisure.

We loved the location for all the plans we had made whilst in Manchester, the reception area and spa was stunning

The room was slightly disappointing and I wouldn’t really say matched the contemporary feel of the rest of the hotel. It seems like they have added a few bits of furniture to try and give it the same vibe but then left other parts of the old rooms, I didn’t think the room was worth the amount we paid personally

Stayed here again, this time for my 30th birthday. It is our favourite hotel! We love coming back here. The beds are so so comfy we always have the best sleep. Great location too with lots do. The team are so helpful and down to earth, The spa is beautiful and always clean.

Clean and smelt fresh and the room had a bath which was nice. Free hour access to the spa was a real treat too

The pillows were comfy but it would have been good having 2 each because you do sink in them.
