The one at the reception upon arrival was very rude

The hotel was beautiful inside and the room was very nice. I enjoyed my time with my bestie to celebrate my 46th Birthday

The only thing I was shocked about was the extra £100 deposit that I added to pay on arrival. I didn't see this anywhere in the small print. It was refunded but I had to wait a few days to receive it. Other than that everything looks good.

Air con was noisy, we asked to move room, staff accommodated this so all ended well

second time staying room as always excellent , perhaps a few soft drinks and chocolate in fridge would be great .

breakfast is a bit overpriced unless your really going to eat well . i skipped as had a big dinner previous night and really wanted a drink maybe bit of fruit but its silly too pay that much for a bowl of fruit . i would hope they look at that .

Location and beautiful space. Breakfast was amazing.

Near to the centre and shops. Convenient for the tram stop to Charlton. Immaculately clean. The ice machine at the end of the corridor was very useful! The staff were lovely!

I couldn’t find the hairdryer until it was too late. A small card to inform me of its location would have been very useful.

I liked the breakfast but it took a long time to get served, I had to ask for a drink. Also took 20 mins for my breakfast to come and the waiter asked if it had come yet.

The room had everything we needed with a lovely bathroom and selection of toiletries. All staff were very polite and helpful. The breakfast was amazing - one of the best I've had (if not the best) whilst staying away. The pancakes are absolutely delicious!! My sister used the spa facilities and was very happy with them. I will definitely stay here again.

Extractor fan in bathroom couldn't be switched off & unfortunately kept me awake most of the night

This hotel is the best in Manchester & by far way ahead of any other hotel chains in Manchester. I have stayed here multiple times & the hotel has never failed to impress. The on site spa facilities are amazing & a massive bonus to use to kick back & relax anytime. This does require pre booking but worth it every time. A big thank you & mention to Danny Sieff on hotel reception. Danny is a star person of this hotel & has gone out of his way every time I have requested anything for my stays. He is very professional, has great customer service skills & a credit to the hotel team. Danny I hope the hotel managememt reward you for your hard work! Well deserved in this hotel industry to be recognised for your hard work! Thanls again to all of the hotel team & no doubt I will be doing many more stays when I am in the city. Ishy M

Nice sized room with all the nice touches

the automatic blind worked, however there was a small gap at the top which allowed daylight in The breakfast seem very excessive in price

Excellent location, very spacious and clean

There was only one pillow per bed and it would have been nice to have the option of an extra pillow

Stunning hotel

Expensive

The beautiful architecture coupled with the very modern internal decor provided a luxary experience. Comfortable beds, interesting room lay out but it worked very well. The restaurant was fantastic and the breakfast was wonderful. All of the staff were incredibly welcoming and very accommodating, everyone was very helpful and genuinely lovely. The spa was very nice and relaxing, I wish I had time to same the treatments. I’m sure we’ll be back the next time we stay over in Manchester!

Room was fine - beds a little ugly. We stayed in the same type of room recently and it just seemed slightly better quality. Love the Edwardian though
