The Edwardian Hotel, Manchester

It was super clean, very cosy and the spa was absolutely amazing.

We didn't use the restaurant. Location was great for the Spinningfields restaurants we visited. Room was good but not outstanding.

We didn't like the washbasin being visible from the bedroom, there was no privacy (accepting that the loo and shower were suitably secluded.

Staff were brilliant and room was lovely. Average Buffet affair, with some choice. Sausages were nice.

The queue for breakfast was a while. Pastry was a little dry but we were one of the last to sit down for breakfast.

Receptionist he was welcoming even upgraded our room Room was comfortable and the birthday cake and card was cute added a special touch Breakfast was great had a variety of choices Hotel overall look was nice

Spa staff she was not as much accommodating as I booked a session was running late (I hold my hands up) and told I only have nine minutes left of my time that then ruined some of the experience as I was celebrating my husbands birthday so didn’t get to use that facility. Did have a morning booking for the spa but didn’t attend due to the staff hostility the day before. Would of been a 10/10 experience however due to the poor hospitality from the spa staff It a good from me. Parking was a headache as the nearest NCP was a 10 min walk did receive a parking ticket.

Great location in Manchester and surrounded by amazing restaurants/cafes.

The room was very nice. When we ordered food it came quickly. The pool was great and the hotel was nicely designed.

There was a constant humming noise from outside the window. The pillows and duvet weren’t that comfortable. The robes were old and tattered, both were torn. The treatments weren’t a viable during our stay.

Everything about the hotel was excellent. The staff were pleasant, approachable and helpful. The room was a very good size, clean, warm and well appointed. We have recently stayed in other hotels which advertise spa facilities which proved to be very poor. The area has been cold and all the facilities have not been working. Edwardian Spa was excellent!!. Warm, comfortable and everything was working correctly including early in the morning. The breakfast was well cooked. Well presented and with wide choice.

Although a time limit to spa use felt restrictive an hour was ok really in the evening and half hour in morning was ok; however, I would expect no restrictions at a 5 star hotel? I realise I am from a different generation and filming on mobkles is acceptable I really did feel that my privacy was being invaded whilst in the Spa watching people openly videoing the area with apparent no regard for people's privacy. There should be a ban on mobile phones in pool/ spa area. Who really needs a phone whilst swimming or sitting in a steam room? Some people struggle with their body image in areas like a pool and dont need to feel they may appear on someone's media stream. Although the breakfast did have a good selection to have to pay extra for items like waffles, cinnamon toast etc. seems unnecessary at a 5 star hotel.

Check in quick and staff friendly and helpful. Room upgraded. Breakfast was very good and staff very friendly and helpful. Location perfect for the centre of Manchester - restaurants, pubs, shops etc.

Would have preferred a door between the dressing room/bathroom area and the bedroom for privacy

The spa was too busy for the amount of people booked in, spoilt the experience. Not enough room to swim.

The employees were exceptional. In particular the manager that came up to our room, the in room dining man that even phoned up to see if we enjoyed the food this Saturday (such a nice touch) and the lady running the spa was also exceptional. Also the waiters at breakfast was great and the offering is well put together and makes the experience perfect alongside the spa and gym.

Surprised we had to join a queuing system for breakfast and was not offered coffee whilst we waited at the bar area.

Breakfast area was small, tight seating spaces. Central Food dispensers (bacon, eggs, sausages etc)were very high.

It was very clean and the spa was lovely had a fantastic massage

No complaints was a very good all around stay

The location is great. The pool area is lovely and the atmosphere is fantastic.

There is no car park so you have to park at the Grear Northern. It would be good to get a discount when staying at the hotel.

Fabulous hotel, very modern, clean and bright. Lovely staff. Our room was amazing, lovely touches for guests, an ice chip machine in the corridor and an ice container in the room! Fabulous! Really comfy beds. A huge and varied breakfast selection. Really enjoyed our stay here.

Absolutely gorgeous building and stunning interior. Customer service was above and beyond. Perfect location for shops, bars and restaurants.

If I was being really picky, we were woken once in the night from noise from bars across the street and the fact that our rooms were at the side of the building close to them.
