Luxurious hotel. The spa was small but enjoyable enough. Rooms were comfortable. Staff were lovely and customer service was amazing.

The spa and pool felt crowded and not relaxing due to a number of young children jumping into the pool. I thought that booking the hour for use of the facilities would feel more exclusive.

There was way too many kids jumping in and out of the pool and running all over everyone’s beds. It ruined it for everyone else in there.

Nice hotel, with friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast was excellent (the queue was quite long, though). The design feels modern, and the rooms were clean.

A bit noisy, from the hallway and from the outside too. There was also a problem with the AC unit, it was stuck on heating even on lowest temperature. It required a staff member to come and restart it. There was also an annoying loud sound coming from the bathroom, sounded like a loud wall drill. Staff couldn’t help much because it happened sparsely. This was at around 1 AM. Probably something with the sewage, when the person upstairs flushed the toilet.

The hotel was superb, front office staff were very friendly, hotel was very neat. Breakfast was delicious with lots of variety.

WC could do with replacement. Very long queue for breakfast, we waited over 20 minutes.

I liked the facilities, pool and SPA, central location and cleanliness.

Check-in is at 3:00 pm. I arrived at 2:30 pm and was asked to wait until 3:00 pm which would not make a difference if I checked in earlier just to drop the suitcase. Breakfast was terrible, i.e. limited choice of food, cold and disgusting coffee, overcrowded restaurant - a 3-star level. I asked a hot oat milk for coffee but was given a cold dairy milk instead. At the end, I was presented with a bill for breakfast which was supposed to be included in the price of the room. Would not include breakfast next time. TV channels are limited to sports and channels in Arabic and Spanish. No news channels other than BBC1 Manchester, not even SKY News. At night a fire alarm went off and I could not sleep until morning wondering if I should prepare for evacuation from level 9. I was advised at the reception that the matter was investigated and if I don't hear from them, then I should stay in the room. I had no idea how long it would take. Surely there must be some protocol in such situations.

A bit of a wait for breakfast

First time using the spa/ poo it’s lovely. Pool was quite busy with children but it’s half term so understand but overall really lovely pool and gym looked nice too. Got a good price for the room and always like how the rooms here are on the bigger side compared to some other 5 star hotels in the centre.

Fabulous breakfast, gym, spa facilities, comfortable beds, stylish decor, great blackout blinds in the room and brilliant location. Also wonderful cocktail bar in which to start our evening!

Swimming pool is lovely but if only it was bigger! Initially we were a little disappointed that we could only book it for an hour, but in fairness, this meant it wasn't too busy, so the system works well.

The spa was fully booked. The bar was also fully booked. The shower in the room got water EVERYWHERE. Curtains were see-through.

We booked it for our anniversary. The hotel is lovely! It’s close to every place we want to visit. The spa is nice too not too crowded. The bedding and the mattress are so comfortable. It’s the best bed I’ve ever slept in a hotel. I’m a light sleeper and the room we’re in is not facing the busy street too it’s quiet. Thank you very much for the effort and we had a wonderful time there.

The tables in the breakfast restaurant are too close together—we were literally seated right next to strangers. We asked the staff if we could move to another table but were told there were no available tables and that we would have to wait. However, by the time we left, there were still plenty of empty tables. When we were seated, the staff just left immediately without explaining where to get the food or how the setup worked. The breakfast selection was average, I will suggest to go somewhere else for a nicer brunch.

Lovely interior, comfortable beds with no noise from the city outside. Breakfast was excellent. The spa area and gym were spotless. Staff were always polite and friendly.

Had quite a few issues which I wouldn’t expect from a 5 star hotel at this price. - The first room I was given (12th floor) had an adjoining door to the room next door. The soundproofing on the door was clearly very poor as I could clearly hear every noise from the next room over (normal conversations, spraying deodorant, etc….) fortunately I was able to move room, but if the hotel had been fully booked it would’ve been a big issue! - Had to ask 3 different members of staff at breakfast for a coffee (no option to self serve), think it just got forgotten! - there was no dressing gown in my room (required for spa) - asked at reception, who sent me to the spa, who told me to call guest services, who said they’d send someone up with one, but they never came…. - cleaners took used glasses from my room but didn’t replace them, leaving me with none Overall it was still an enjoyable stay and the main things were done right - comfy bed, clean, etc! But over the two nights it felt like there were so many little things that left me disappointed for what (is almost) an amazing hotel.

Excellent hotel, lovely spa facilities, lovely spacious room, great location

Beautiful hotel in a very central location. Our room was lovely with a view over the city. The shower was great, and the bed was huge and very comfortable. I had mentioned when I booked that it was a 1 night break for a special birthday, but didn't expect anything, however, they bought a lovely piece of birthday cake with a message and card up to our room - what a lovely extra special little touch 😊. Breakfast was also lovely with lots of choice, for either full English, cereals, fruit or pastries, in a gorgeous setting.

The pillows unfortunately -our heads just sank in to them, they had no support, so you felt flat. Unfortunately this contributed to not much sleep. I tried with 2 pillows together but they were both the same, so no better. Would make more sense to give each room 1 squidgy pillow, and 1 firm pillow.

Really helpful receptionist who also gave us a later check out twice after illness delayed the first late checkout. Great location, quiet rooms. Spa included in the stay which is a bonus but we didn't get to experience that due to illness, also missed breakfast due to the same reason but it was very good value for money including breakfast

Only minor things, I'd rang up previously to book the spa slot before we arrived, turned out this wasn't booked and we had to rebook there and then so if you ring to book in advance - double check that is booked on the day. Also pillows weren't to my preference they were a bit too soft but that's just personal preference, no fault of the hotel, maybe an option of firmer pillows would be useful

The breakfast was amazing! Spa was nice, just remember to book a slot as it's very busy. The gym was amazing for a hotel gym. I was celebrating my birthday and they left me a lovely cake in the room when I arrived. The location is excellent. Check in ans check out very easy. And everything was close by. The views are amazing from the room.

Our room had an interconnecting door which didn't allow any soundproofing. Noises from the other room were quite disturbing. Request a non interconnecting door if possible. The shower is in a wet room which you may or may not like. Parking was a bit of a nightmare but not too bad once I found somewhere 10mins walk.

Nice & clean room, managed to check in early, super friendly staff, great location. Just a shame we were only there for 1 night celebrating my wife's birthday

Breakfast was nice , however the arrangement of seating is far too close to the point I would say it is uncomfortable. For a quality hotel this needs to be reviewed

The staff were friendly and upgraded our room. They couldn’t do enough for us and the spa was beautiful and relaxing. The room was huge and fantastic. Clean and modern with comfy beds.

The spa included in the stay was a very good positive and the location of the hotel is perfect. Majority of staff were very nice and made the stay enjoyable and the rooms and spa were lovely.

The staff at the breakfast were not very welcoming and the breakfast was very poor. Spent more time waiting for food to be brought back out to the buffet than actually eating. The staff member at the front desk at the breakfast were rude and seemed ignorant giving us any idea of a wait time or even a welcome.

The bar, cocktails . Rooms were well thought out. Reception team were great.
