Friendly greeting on arrival and a speedy check in. Arrived during a heatwave with temperatures in the 30s but our room was the perfect temperature. Opposite the train station and able to walk wherever we needed to go.

All pretty good - no complaints.

Perfect location, literally across the road from Piccadilly station and 5 mins to Piccadilly gardens with the bars and restaurants. Direct walking route to the Etihad Stadium (25-30 mins) so no need to wait in big queues for the tram after a concert.

The price on our second stay there. Just because Take That we’re in town they doubled the price and more. We were not attending the concert.

The left lift closed on me as I was walking through it. The bed was a bit to firm for me. The room was a tad small. More cost hangers please. I dont eat much for breakfast and was refused buying some toast.

The bed was comfortable, the staff was excellent and very helpful and welcoming, location is very good for the train station and exploring the city and getting a good dinner nearby.

The additional price I paid for breakfast was not worth it at all - it was only continental breakfast, all things I could have just bought at a grocery store.

The bar and lounge area were really good.

I found it very funny when checking in. Was told to come back at 3pm as room wasn’t ready. Pretty standard. Chanced my arm at 2pm and room still wasn’t ready but what was very funny, went to the check-in desk at 2:58pm and was told that check-in will be open in two minutes and to come back then 😂. Clearly the room was ready but I found it so petty to tell a guest to come in two minutes. Anyway, nice hotel and friendly staff and have stayed here a few times and would stay again.

What a find, great price, with excellent choice of breakfast to. Large comfy bed. Clean room. Kettle. Nice en suite. Brilliant location to get tram to the Etihad. Will definitely stay again.

Just a few inconsiderate people coming back after 11pm talking loudly on the corridor. Not the hotels fault.

Very centrally located and nice rooms. The lobby with bar is also convenient.

I would question the stubborn adherence of the check-in time. Take That concert was in Town and the hotel well booked. At 15:00h the lobby and queue for check-in was extremely large. Why not giving out rooms as they appear available but rather prefer chaos… I decided to leave and return later to do checkin rather than queue for hours. But it didn’t feel ok.

Very central location

Location was fab. Hotel was very quiet ,even though it was in a busy location and it was a busy hotel. Bed was really comfortable and the room was air-conditioned for when we arrived.

A massive queue to check in wasn't ideal on a extremely hot day.
