Motel One Piccadilly, Manchester

Central to Manchester & great transport links. We were allowed to have food delivered to us and plates were provided. Staff were very friendly and helpful. One of our party had to be taken to A&E during our stay. The staff on duty were very kind and attentive, extending our checkout time the next day, free of charge. This is our 2nd stay at this Motel, but will definitely be back to stay, hopefully before end of year.

The staff were friendly from the moment we walked in. We were seen quickly and was able to go straight to the room. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable (the blackout curtains were amazing too). The hotels location was perfect for our early morning train from piccadilly station. The reception was 24hrs which allowed us to check out at 4:30am.

Parking is not ideal although there are some options close by at around £27 for 24hours.

The TV had very poor signal. Watched fish swimming for most of the night.

The room was great, perfect for the one night we were staying. The bed was comfortable and everything was clean and felt new. Location was excellent, right next to Piccadilly station. Staff were friendly.

The location was superb as you are in the heart of the city with close access to trains, busses, trams and taxis. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room itself was clean and spacious with a good-sized bathroom.

It was a little pricey, so if you can find a good deal and book far in advance then Motel One is a great option. The walls are a little thin so you could often hear guests as they returned from town in the early hours of the morning, but that is to be expected when you stay in the city over a weekend. Overall, both things were not bad enough to ruin the stay :)

We didn't have the best view, and also no tea/coffee making facilities.

Fantastic breakfast, great location, nice room, which although slightly small made the most of the space, and very helpful staff.

Confusion over our being sent to the wrong room on the tenth floor which was already occupied when we were in a hurry to get out for an event, but it was quickly rectified and we were reassigned to the 11th floor.

Being disturbed in the early hours by other guests returning to their rooms and talking loudly in the corridors

It's proximity to Manchester Piccadilly Station, and places we were specifically down to attend, is why we booked to stay again. Room was clean. The glazing keeps out all the city noise. Room had air con. Welcoming and accommodating staff.

Mattress a bit lumpy. Room didn't have a fridge but I was on a tight budget so maybe that was not an option at the price I was paying.

I thought the breakfast choice for a continental style breakfast was excellent. I loved that there was fresh fruit available and hard and soft boiled eggs.

My husband would have preferred the option of a cooked breakfast. Also the staff were so efficient that they cleared our breakfast dishes and mugs away, when we got up to have some additional items ,before we had completely finished so we lost half drunk drinks cutlery and napkins.

Room was super cosy and clean! Hotel staff were so nice and friendly! Hotel across the road from Piccadilly Station which is super convenient! I was here for the Madison Beer concert at the Co-op Live Arena and everything was super nearby and accessible, very good value for money!
