Motel One Piccadilly, Manchester

My stay wasfrom November 13-15, 2025. Everything was great. I'd definitely return to stay when in Manchester. The staff who attended to me, Quam Ibrahim was super professional, helpful and friendly. The best service I've ever experienced. Thanks for making my stay so pleasant Quam!

Excellent value for money, beds are big and very comfortable. Plenty of space in the rooms and good walk in shower. Staff are super helpful and friendly.

Pleasantly surprised. Hotel very modern, great location. I had asked for a quiet room and that is pricisely what I got. Nice modern shower room, plently of hot water. Not once did I put the heating on despite the cold outside. I very lovely touch by putting a Christmas card outside the door on Christmas day. Staff very attentive

As someone who designs/ refurbishes hotels there were a couple of things that I did not like. Lots of lighting but all on one switch. The two artemide tolomeo bedside lights hard to turn on as switch on the top and a stretch. No bedside tables/shelf to put phone/ specticles etc. on, and would have liked a couple of drawers for my clothes (but understand if people are only staying for a few days). Apart from that decoration was good, clean and modern. Must mention the bed and pillows..........a joy!

We could check in immediately even though we arrived in the morning. Very lucky indeed that the room was available and they gave it to us promptly. Very good service from the counter staff. Slightly far out from the main city area but good for short stays if you need to head to the train station as it was just directly opposite.

Lovely clean comfortable hotel, ideal for a short stay. Good location near Piccadilly station. Rooms were very quiet we couldn’t hear any noise

Perfect stay as always. Beautiful lounge and superb breakfast options. Had drinks in the lounge and served by a fantastic member of staff called Felix. He was very attentive, polite and went that extra mile to make our night special with well presented, delicious cocktails. Would happily stay again.

Minor inconveniences such as low shower pressure, burn mark on carpet and rusty hand towel rack.

The location is perfect just next door to Piccadilly Rail station. The room was spacious and clean, with a nice king size bed. The shower was powerful and the continental breakfast had plenty of choice of cold meats, cheese and sweets. The price for a Sunday night was very good. I would definitely return.

I wasn't able to connect with the WiFi but it might be because my phone is rather old. The key card didn't work well, took a few attempts every time to get into the room.

Staff at the front desk were very welcoming and offered to place us on the Sam floor as other people we travelled with.

Only thing we didn’t like was the smell of the bathroom after the shower had been used. Left a drainage smell but other than that our stay was brilliant

It’s very close to Manchester Piccadilly station. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. The lobby bar is sooo comfy.

No refrigerator in the room, weak security as no room card access to the hotel or the elevator, saw people smoking weed in the lobby. Bedside lamp was broken, heater didn’t work, the mirror in the bathroom didn’t work properly.

We always stay in the motel one when we go to see man city, the location is great, the staff are always friendly and professional, the rooms are always clean and the breakfast is just enough to fill you up until tea time.

Proximity to the station. Stylish entrance and bar areas.

The bar didn't seem to have menus like before. Bed is comfy but a little hard.

Location is seconds from the train station. Staff were honestly the friendliest I’ve ever meet in my life. Bergan on reception should be teaching hospitality training courses, he was phenomenal. So nice.

Well priced 'Premier Inn'-type hotel, that delivers on expectation. Great location opposite Piccadilly station. The room was clean, bed comfortable and bathroom more than adequete. For a one night stay it was perfectly acceptable.

It was easy to find. The communal areas were stylish and it immediately felt like a nice hotel. The room was on the small side but great for a short stay. The bathroom and shower were clean and modern, with toiletries and nice towels. There is a socket near the full length mirror which is great to get your hair done. The air con/heating was controllable. The bed was large and comfortable with great pillows. The room was quiet despite its central location and we had a great nights sleep.

A lack of sockets & anywhere to put your drink down on one side of the bed.

Good location we travelled by train so this hotel was ideal opposite piccadilly station rooms clean and spacious.

The bar in the hotel did not serve draught beers or lager's just bottles and spirits so we went to another hotel bar that did nearby.
