Paper cups in the room with the kettle. No glass for toothbrush in the bathroom. Only 1 chair. No bedside tables.

We didn’t have breakfast, strongly suspected it was over-priced for what would be on offer - which proved to be the case! Why can’t hotels offer a sliding scale to match prices to guests’ requirements - some people (us) just wanted a very light breakfast whereas we spotted other guests piling their plates high

Virtually no storage space, so guests have to live out of their suitcases - and nowhere to tidy suitcases away, so constantly tripping over them, quite hazardous in such small rooms - and we are two elderly ladies But loved the many plug sockets, and handily located next to the big mirror (which we also liked) so no squabbling over whose phone charger gets plugged in first. Also really liked soft fluffy towels, too many budgets hotels provide meagre thin towels, and liked the scents of the hand wash and shower wash And the bed was so comfy!

Room was lovely, clean and comfortable with everything we needed for a city break. Staff on reception were really lovely and helpful, nice area and perfect for coming on the train :)

Location and room were perfect. We had a very early flight and the hotel let us check in at 7:30am which was a massive benefit. Very good stay overall. Really good value for money.

In Manchester for one night for work early the next day. Great location right opposite the station so I was relaxing in my room 10 mins after stepping out of the station when I got into town. Efficient, friendly staff. Room had everything you'd expect and was spotless. Massive bed. Lounge area was lovely, wish I'd had more time to spend there. Great value for money. Easy stroll to multiple transport connections or the city centre.

The bed was huge and very comfortable. The shower was exceptionally good. The reception staff were very helpful and the hotel decor was great. Didn't eat or drink there but the bar looked good.It has the feel of a much more expensive hotel.

Everything from the moment we arrived to the moment we left was brilliant, friendly staff and super central location really sorted us out

They let us check in straight away from around 1pm rather than waiting until 3pm. The lady on the desk was absolutely lovely and so helpful and it was an all round pleasant experience. So clean in the room and everything we could need with a great view over manchester.

There was no bin liner in the toilet and no actual bin in the room.

The room was clean with a decent size bathroom with a pretty large shower. The bed was a big double. I thought it might be noisy with trams right outside but actually it wasn't too bad - being on a higher floor probably helped. Location was right next to the station. Bar area downstairs was quite nice and staff were inviting.

There was a bit of a drainage smell in the bathroom - bearable and probably would improve once the shower was run for a while. I think the breakfast is a bit pricey. All city hotels feel expensive these days but this was the best value for a brief stay near the station for convenience.

Staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The room was well kept and clean - same with the bathroom. The ability and ease of leaving bags at the hotel after checkout was extremely helpful.

The only issue would be that one of the lamps by the bed did not work. The other was fine.

Excellent location right next too Piccadilly train station, the hotel was lovely and clean and the rooms were spacious.

The TV had no channels at all there was an issue with the antenna.

I really enjoyed my stay at Motel One Manchester-Piccadilly. The rooms were very nice, clean, and comfortable. What impressed me the most was the staff they were friendly, cheerful, and welcomed us very warmly. Their hospitality made us feel at home. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Manchester.
