Motel One Piccadilly, Manchester

Very very near to the picaddily train station. And tram station. The room is cosy and we got the view of the train station which is awesome.

Not that near to the city centre but it is still within walking distance.

I only stayed for one night, but I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends. It is very conveniently located near the train station. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast.

A small downside was that there was no bedside shelf or table where you could place a book or phone.

Great location near to Piccadilly Station and walking distance to the center. Very clean room and acceptable room size. However the air conditioning was not working well, very stuffy with warm air. Could open the window but room was assigned on the first floor which I have forgotten to request for higher floor as I always do. Cantonese speaking male staff was very nice to assist us with the air conditioning issue.

Very minimalistic. Great shower and shampoo/ body wash was lovely. Comfortable bed but the pillows let it down. Great location.

Very small and paper cups in the room for tea/coffee. Pillows were like rocks and breakfast was disappointing

Room was hot even when the temperature was turned down. Had to keep curtains closed as it overlooked a very close office block!!!

Great location for me. I arrived by coach and left by train. Both stations with in a few minutes walk of the hotel.

I arrived late and left early. Didn’t have any concerns.

For the price this hotel delivers what it promises. A good nights sleep in a clean room at a great location

Not the hotels fault, but phone connection is only 4G in this soit of Manchester

It is 2 mins to piccadily train station. Therefore, it is very convenient to reach airport and other cities ( like . The room is clean and basic.

The hotel is close to attractive places ( canal, gay village, St Peter’s square) but it is not at the heart of the city center. I recommend the hotel of the same “motel one” chain in St Peter’s square.

We’ve stayed 3 times now. Perfect location. Clean and tidy and the room is spot on.

Clean, friendly and helpful staff, both EU and UK plugs in our room, nice view and great windows. All the plugs and switches were well thought out. Also a very comfy bed and a decent breakfast. Overall a very pleasant experience, especially for a three star.

A bit noisy when the windows are open for some fresh air. Every door (including bathroom) wants to close, it was a bit annoying. So was the TV that turns on every time you enter the room and place the key card.
