Check-in was extremely smooth. All staff were very pleasant and helpful. Love the balance of the room being aesthetically pleasing yet perfectly functional. Great location and a lovely bar where I had the best espresso martini ever. Great value for money too. Highly recommended.

A really comfortable hotel close to the main station and city centre. The hotel and room was clean and the staff charming and helpful.

We were upgraded to a really big room on the 13th floor. Staff as always at Motel One. We used the Motel One loyalty scheme for the first time so I suspect this is why we were able to get the upgrade?

While we had a fantastic room, however there were no bedside tables to put anything, also the lack of plug sockets to charge devices next to the bed. These are minor points, but for us are important especially when we have used phones, iPads etc during the day and want to use at night. The above said again this does not detract from the quality of stay at the hotel.

Lovely modern hotel right next to manchester piccadilly station , great location lovely rooms beds comfortable , would recommend and would book to stay again in the future , booked for a overnight stay as attending a concert at co op live , easy tram access to travel to venue and about £6 in a uber from the hotel to the co op venue , cant comment on breakfast as we didnt have book for it , overall a lovely clean modern hotel with easy access to shopping / venues .

My Stay at Motel One Piccadilly, Manchester (13–17 November 2025) I stayed at Motel One in Manchester for four nights, and honestly, I was impressed from the moment I walked through the door. Check-in was amazingly quick, and the staff were so warm and welcoming. They gave me clear directions to my room, and I found it without any trouble at all. I booked a Standard Queen Room, and the first thing I noticed when I walked in was how impeccably clean everything was. The lighting was great, the view was decent, and the whole room just felt inviting from the start. The bed was extremely comfortable, even with the occasional back pain I get, I had zero issues sleeping here. The bathroom was modern and spotless, with seriously impressive water pressure in the shower (a big win in my books). The Wi-Fi clocked in at 92.1mbps, which is honestly one of the fastest speeds I’ve ever seen in a hotel. I didn’t need the heating at all because the room stayed at a perfect temperature. Storage space was totally adequate, with wall-mounted hanging rails and plenty of hangers. Downstairs, there’s a bar that serves both alcohol and coffee. I only tried the coffee, and it was really nice. Plus, the location is unbeatable. Being right in Piccadilly means you're practically surrounded by shops, restaurants, and super close to the tram system. It made getting around ridiculously easy. And as for complaints? Genuinely none! Not a single disappointment! Everything was smooth, comfortable, and easy... Exactly what you want from a hotel stay. I would happily stay here again!

Not much storage space in the room so be prepared to live out of your suitcase if you have the standard double.

Very good hotel. Had everything we needed. Very convenient for Piccadilly Train Station given it's just 5 minutes walk. Sixt Car Hire is also next door.

I stayed for one night and had a really pleasant experience. The room was small but cosy and perfectly fit for purpose clean, comfortable, and well looked after. The staff were warm and friendly throughout my stay, which made the whole visit feel welcoming. Breakfast didn’t have a huge amount of choice, but everything was really fresh, especially the bakery items which were delicious. Overall, a great value stay and I’d happily return.

The location is fantastic, the rooms are clean, the beds and comfy, and the bar area is great.

Rooms are basic which is fine but some could do with the odd little bit of love e.g little stains and scuffs etc

Everyone who works here is very friendly and efficient. Emily checked us in and was perfectly lovely. Also the bed was super comfortable, and the room was adequately heated :)

Location is great - I can get off the train, drop my bags off within 5 minutes then I’m free to get on with my day! Bed is super comfy & cocktails are strong 😊

It would be nice if the shower had more pressure - and I was disappointed to see that there were no sweets out at reception (though the staff very kindly found some when I asked!)

Always have a great stay at Motel One. Piccadilly is my favourite one in Manchester.

Location was very convenient for Piccadilly Station and onward travel to the airport. The room had all the facilities needed for a short stay.

Room rather small and no option to have a twin room as opposed to a double. Lack of cooked breakfast.
