King Street Townhouse, Manchester

Good location. All staff friendly and extremely helpful. They went above and beyond.

I was unaware that booking through booking.com ment that i was not entitled to the extras shown on the hotels website (eg complementary drinks on arrival etc). This only became apparent once I had checked in . This caused disappointment as I would have booked through the hotel website if I had of known this. A lot of money spent and not on what I thought I was spending it on.

A great hotel that has real wood, classic fittings and fixtures, beautiful tiles and no melamine in sight. The restaurant is on par with the top few hotels in Manchester and the staff were fantastic.

The stay was only one night and for business so I did not have the chance to sample the gym or the spa. Next time I'll do so - on a leisure trip.

Shame that for the two nights I stayed the terrace was closed for private parties.

Warm clean cosy rooms , fantastic service , the pool was so warm, I had a warm glow all night walking around Manchester’s city streets in the evening, loved that the rooms were so quiet amongst a high functioning property, can’t wait to visit again soon, the shower was amazing !!

Everything about this hotel is top class.. The rooms are spotless . The staff are a credit to the hotel . Special shout out to Gabriella the manager of the Tavern restaurant who went above and beyond to make our experience extra special.

I stayed here for a little retreat as a surprise for my mrs, I must say I expected it to be nice but I was impressed from the minute I reached the front desk to check in, the room I will say the pictures do not do this place justice as it was perfect bathroom also perfect, I requested balloons etc and we walked through the door to a blanket of balloons covering the floor and rose petals on bed with extra special decorated plate with brownie and icing etc, I was very impressed to say the least and my mrs said the room was beautiful. Thank you also I must add the pool on the 7th floor is immaculate and impressive better in the morning around 9am as not many people will be there then so you have the place to yourselves.

Everything about this hotel is perfect. From the minute you walk in, you immediately feel calm and so welcome. The staff are amazing, the room was beautiful and peaceful, so well appointed and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The food is absolutely delicious - really high quality. The rooftop pool was a real treat too. We were very sad to leave and will definitely be back (and recommending to absolutely everyone we know!)

The only downfall was the soaps, due to being allergic to oranges I was unable to use any of the hotels special SPA ESPA soaps, mosturises etc- as they all had the same ingredient (bergamot).

The rooms were amazing well worth every penny so clean and tidy honestly can’t wait to come back.

The staff particularly Daniel the night manager, Tim, Olivia - actually ALL of them were phenomenal!!

Breakfast was amazing spa was excellent and especially the breakfast it was great room was so clean and all the staff were absolutely brilliant especially the male at breakfast he was a slender tall white male and he was so polite I didn’t catch his name and he served us and made breakfast amazing he was approachable kind and great! The reception area could do with being a bit bigger as the check in was very long hut the staff there were amazing.

Check in Have to walk outside to go to spa (15 second walk) but still amazing and will visit again

Completely unique, amazing freestanding bathtub and room was intimate and cozy. The rooftop pool is a must!

When we checked in, the member of staff on the reception wasn’t welcoming at all; I had to initiate the conversation. But other than that all the other staff were nice and helpful. There lift is a bit of a nightmare when the hotel is busy too.

One of the major pluses of the hotel was the roof top terrace. It was actually booked out to a private party whilst we stayed over so we couldn’t use it. Which we felt we should have been informed about before we booked.

Lovely hotel, rooms was larger than I expected, and a real bonus having a bath. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Could only seem to get one Chanell on the tv. Took a while to get served in the bar.

Hello, I had a booking on the 26th August 2024 for a 1 night stay at a 4 star hotel advertised on your site, check in should have been 3pm upon arrival our room was not ready meaning we had to wait this caused a very long delay and us to be late and turned away for another booking which resulted in loss of money. When I was finally able to check in I had to pay a £100 room fee which should have been refunded however I have not received this

We liked everything about our stay staff were fantastic facilities were good food excellent couldn't have asked for a better stay

The only thing that we didn't like or expect was when they put the gratuity on the bill and then staff asking if we would want to pay it or not we felt that we had to pay the gratuity even though the service was fantastic we felt that we needed to pay it
