Madrid is a city known for excitement and the Hotel Orfila puts visitors right smack in the middle of all that lively activity. The hotel is located at the edge of three districts making it easy for guests to see many sides of Madrid. Being close to Paseo de la Castellana is good for business travelers while being close to the upmarket shopping district of Goya and Serrano opens up that option for travelers interested in collecting. The northern end of Chueca is very close and contains trendy boutiques bars restaurants and the San Anton food market.
The property has a long, rich history. The hotel was originally constructed as a mansion in the late 1800s and was used to stage plays in the early 1900s. Both these eras in the hotel’s past are clearly reflected in the decor and features of the property. For example, the framed Loewe scarfs on the walls are a tribute to the 1800s while the main lobby has been set up like a stage.
When not exploring the rich history of the hotel or the surrounding attractions guests,, can unwind and relax in one of the traditionally styled and super comfortable rooms. The bedding features an upholstered bedhead in floral and paisley prints and comes with views of the garden, a big television, iPod dock and a hydromassage bathtub with an overhead shower. Excellent attitude and team at this 5 star luxury boutique hotel
All staff went above and beyond in their service, the hotel is boutique, quiet and luxury. Upgrade without asking. This hotel and the team that run it should be training other 5 star hotels and how to give service and how to make guests feel special.

Wonderful stay at hotel Orfila. The best loaction, elegant place and the staff were exceptional.
The best part of the hotel was their outdoor garden (very elegant)where we had amazing breakfast.
Unlimited Cava ;)
The breakfast was very nice, but could have been cheaper. 35 eur per person is not what we expected.

i liked everything. Perfect location, facilities and services.
I was given a room that was a bit dirty in the shower. I called the reception and they upgraded me to a bigger nicer room. everything was perfect except for this very uncomfortable event that takes confidence about cleanness away. However after my second day at the hotel I realized that it was a mistake of the cleaning team and that the hotel cared about cleanness and a proper guest experience.
