I just wish it had a iron. But it was all good!

The room was very spacious and the view of the palace was lovely. The location was easily accessible by metro and it was well connected to the city.

The hot water in the showers is not quite enough if two people want to shower one after the other so you need to be careful with your water usage.

The location is central. It’s a perfect location for exploring the city. Our room was spacious & spotless with an amazing view! You can see the Royal palace from our balcony. The staff were brilliant, especially Alina from the front desk. Highly recommended.

It's a bit pricey even for Madrid but we keep coming back so that says it all. The better rooms have brilliant views over the Palacio Real - well worth the upgrade for us. Exceptionally spacious room - very tastefully decorated.

The lift is still a bit temperamental but better than last time we were here!

Historic building, quiet area in the city center, warm welcome, good transport connections, breakfast in the same building, etc.

The palace view was absolutely gorgeous. The shower had great water pressure. Our room had an individual radiator for heat and an AC unit which functioned well. Location is excellent for all the tourist things we wanted to do.

We stay here regularly and like that all the rooms are very large, even the interior ones, and very comfortable. The location is great and if you have a view room it is spectacular at night.

Amazing location and view. Really nice rooom. Excellent and friendly service from Alina upon checking in. Alina also sent a message in advance with lots of helpful information and details. We were also upgraded to a room with an amazing view. A really nice scenic area - close to all the landmarks.

It's perfect location in historic old town area with 10 - 15 minutes walking distance to most tourist attractions and historical sites. 5 minutes' walk to the opera house subway station and you can reach to many Madrid attractions by subway transferring. There are many restaurants nearby.

It felt very luxe for the price and also very clean/spacious/safe. The location is literally right in front of the palace, beautiful location. Staff were all friendly and I felt very safe and happy even as a solo female traveller.

Fantastic location with amazing views of the Palace! Alina, who managed the front desk was very helpful with all communication, reservations, and with her suggestions of what to see/do. The breakfast voucher offer at the desk (for 10€) at Cafe de Oriente was well worth the purchase. We could not have been happier with our experience here.

Great location and very nice and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

It also has apartments. The elevator was a little confusing on the top floor but we were very grateful for it.

Great location in front of Royal Palace and close to bars and restaurants. Room is large, comfortable and clean. Staff clean room and change towels each day. I will strongly recommend it

There was only 1 radiator in the living area, and during cold days would not be enough to maintain a warm temperature across the area, only around the radiator. But if you stay close to it, is very warm and comfy.

We had a wonderful stay at Hostal Central Palace Madrid. The location is unbeatable, right in front of the Royal Palace with stunning views and easy access to all major attractions. The room was very spacious, spotless, comfortable, and beautifully maintained throughout our stay. The staff were incredibly welcoming, helpful, and attentive, making everything smooth from check-in to check-out. Their hospitality truly made our visit even more enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Madrid. We would definitely stay here again.

A great hotel in a central location opposite the Palace. Room was comfortable and spacious.

Absolutely amazing place, the area was perfect with views over the palace. The hist was super helpful and recommended so many places to eat and visit, she couldn’t do enough! Will definitely be back!

Somebody should do something about the lights. The leds in the chandelier give super cold and bright light as if the surgery was about to start. But if you want to read then that is what you will have to use because there are no bedside lamps available.

Well located, lovely room with a view of the Palace, friendly, helpful staff. A great breakfast was available downstairs in the wonderful cafe Oriente for a concessionary €10 pp.

Regrettable that a broken tile from the previous occupant could not be replaced over the weekend, and the room was not cleaned as requested.

Alina and the team were wonderful, friendly and helpful. The location is ideal, quiet, great shower , comfy bed and stunning views. Breakfast deal next door is superb. Will return for sure.

I was traveling by myself so safety was a big concern. They lock the main gate at night and buzz people in. It's an extremely safe location and within walking distance to many attractions. The staff were so nice and accommodating. The room is HUGE and even has a private staircase up to your private terrace! Very clean! Will be back again!

The old wooden floors creaks but that is just a minor quibble.

Beautiful view to the Palacio Real, nice and helpful staff, breakfast next door at Cafe Oriente with a charming art nouveau decor. I would be back here again.

The location across from the Palacio Royal can’t be beat! We were able to walk everywhere or take the Metro. Great value for the money.

The street noise from the outside tables at the restaurants below started early and went very late. But they were able to accommodate us by giving us a quieter room. It is a choice between a view of the palace or a quieter room, but both are good choices.

Comfort and size of the room was amazing for a city-based apartment. Location was perfect for walking/touring around Madrid. Staff were friendly and very helpful, with complimentary wine and water on arrival. Would definitely stay here again.

So central to all attractions in Madrid… easy to navigate to and from. Lovely helpful girl at reception. Restaurants downstairs all great. My room was very spacious with fantastic view directly facing the Royal Palace.

The unobstructed view of the Royal Palace exceeded my expectations and was nothing short of wonderful. The location was very good. The room was lovely, spacious, and well appointed. The staff were friendly and helpful. The housekeeping and cleaning were immaculate.
