The beauty of the entire property. Great bar after we returned from dinner. The breakfast room was breathtaking. The staff was extremely friendly, courteous and helpful. All of our needs were met.

Nothing comes to mind. We only had one night in Madrid and we were very happy to stay at your hotel.

Good location, big rooms, nice friendly staff, clean rooms with comfortable beds and pillows, there was no noise from the street, we could sleep with open windows though the hotel is very close for all popular sightseeing places

Spacious room and an extremely comfortable bed. Staff were welcoming and helpful. The hotel is well placed to walk to all the major sights in Madrid and there are loads of bars and restaurants close to the hotel.

The rooms and common areas are decorated in dark moody colours which is fine, but the lighting is poor. Our room was very dark, even with all the lights on. The bathroom lighting was also poor and for a woman, it was hard to put makeup on.

Very spacious, classic looking yet very modernised (e.g. auto night lamps in the bathroom). Super friendly reception staff I believe he’s truly loving his job.

We loved being in a beautifully renovated old building. It made our stay so much more interesting! And the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. When our bags were delayed more than 24 hours, the staff exerted every effort to help us get them back! They were a lifesaver. The kitchen was also excellent!

Pool area was lovely, breakfast was exceptional and lovely bar to retire to after a day sightseeing.

Only small downside was the pool water was very cold.

Stayed in a suite and the size of the room far exceeded my expectations. The bathroom was super generously sized, especially the shower - it had 2 shower heads with the best pressure I’ve ever had. Was hard to get out! The sitting area was nice and included a couch and mini bar. The bedroom was also great, the bed extremely comfortable. The hotel was very conveniently located and we ended up walking everywhere. Would highly recommend Mercado Del San Miguel - it was amazing!! The staff were especially helpful and gave us plenty of recommendations for restaurants and bars in the area. The pool area was a great place to come back at the end of the night and relax. Would stay again!

Hard to identify anything we “didn’t” like. I will say, the 2nd night we were there, they did not come to clean the room until 5pm. We notified the front desk that we’d like them to come earlier and it was handled from then on!

This hotel is a hidden gem - it was the highlight of our trip to Madrid. Unfortunately the name CoolRooms makes it sound like a budget apartment chain to the English-speaking ear, but it’s really a luxury boutique hotel. The huge rooms were finished to a very high standard, the staff couldn’t have been more helpful, the toiletries and hairdryer etc in the room were some of the best I’ve seen (nicer even than at big 5* resorts) and the bar/restaurant/pool were lovely to have too. We thought it was extremely good value for money.

The moment we arrived the staff were exceptional. They went out of their way, Joe, Marta and all the others, to ensure we felt welcome. They were professional and kind and wouldn’t let us lift a finger! The room was beautiful and comfortable and sitting at the pool was a perfect end to the day.

Little to complain about

My daughter and I spent a week in Spain (Barcelona, Valencia, Madrid) and this was our favorite hotel. It is beautiful!!!! The staff were so helpful - they gave us a map of the city and pointed out sites of interest, they provided water and delicious sweets at check-in, a handwritten note and chocolates in the room, and we even scored a free upgrade. The location was wonderful - easy to walk to most of the sites but also a bit quieter of an area than the typical tourist spots. I love that they provided not only a hair dryer but a top of the line flat iron! We recommend this hotel wholeheartedly!!!!!!!!!

My wife was locked in the shower, but the engineer was called and within minutes very respectably released door fixed during the day and no problems after that

A stunning oasis in the middle of Madrid. The grand rooms, the palatial elements around the property, the staff and the comfort all exceeded expectations. The details in the (huge) rooms, the cleanliness and the spa-like showers are beyond and this is not a typical hotel at all. Lovely, happy staff and a beautiful night sleep after walking all over Madrid.

Pricey but well worth it! A rooftop will be asking for too much but there’s a great shaded benefit to the courtyard pool in extreme heat.

The reception immediately upon entry was extremely friendly, and the smiling staff were very sympathetic, as was the hotel's overall appearance. Service willingness 10/10, and the room—hard to put into words—we were more than impressed.

It is my second time at CoolRooms Palacio. I am confident it will not be the last! 😊 The master family suite is spacious, private, comfortable and elegantly furnished. Clean, quiet, great location (walking to most of the attraction sites), excellent breakfast and SUPER NICE STAFF!

This really is a special place to stay, the attention to detail and the facilities truly are exceptional. The staff genuinely feel like friends. This is one of the best hotels we have ever visited and the room was just amazing!

There was literally nothing we did not like about the this hotel.

Very large room, excellent service, great bathroom products, very clean, amazing water pressure in shower, serene (small boutique)

No lobby, small reception, dark painted walls, dark carpet, and no a/c in common areas make a poor 2 or 3-star impression. Our original room (#40) had bad a/c, sloped attic ceiling, small windows. Fortunately, they agreed to move us to better room with a/c (#37).

The hotel is absolutely gorgeous! It is very centrally located, spotless clean, the rooms are very large with the most beautiful showers/bathrooms. The hotel is wonderfully decorated and smells amazing everywhere. The staff is very friendly and willing to offer suggestions for Madrid. We only stayed a night but I would love to return to this place! One of the best hotels I ve ever been to.

Very small pool which closes early (19:00) because the restaurant is surrounding it.

I like it very much! The rooms are spacious, elegant and comfortable...Suitable for travel, leisure, business and vacationers.

Fabulous room with high ceilings and large shower with great products. Excellent central location if arriving by train. Helpful friendly staff.

Only disappointment was that the courtyard pool was closed for repairs. I was warned of this ahead of arrival.
