Hotel Emperador, Madrid

Location was fantastic, close to shops, metro, restaurants, etc. Room was very nice, lovely view. Rooftop bar was really nice especially as sun was shining when we arrived. Inside the hotel was very quiet and calm despite it being really busy outside, really liked that aspect of my stay. Staff were pleasant.

Shower pressure wasn't great, difficult to have a decent shower.

Great location and easy to use the Metro just outside to get around the city. The room was spacious

The rooms are a little tired and rhetorical bed was 2 singles pushed together but still made up as singles not a double.

Room was cozy and very clean. Breakfast room is clean, large food choice, Breakfast Manager on duty was welcoming, smiley and very professional. Front Desk staff and porters are 5 stars! Location can not be any better, just great! A timeless classic for me!

Lovely spacious room. Cleaned every day . Fantastic pool area with lovely terrace/ bar area. Plenty sun loungers . Amazing view over the city.

Sometimes took a while to be served in the terrace . Drinks slightly pricey too , but view makes up for it . Didn’t like having to wear a wrist band which is stuck on you for duration of stay if you use swimming pool area.

Lovely hotel good wifi and nice bar and restaurant . The people who wotk there are lovely anf helpful and breakfast was awesome !

We like and have stayed there before. I want to mentioned a front desk employee in particular, Cesar, always pleasant, willing to help, very knowledgeable, a real asset to the property.

Excellent location, large suite, nice staff.

The charge us a breakfast that was included (my wife) when the reservation was for two people. If you want to eat an omelette you need to pay in an all included breakfasst.

We think there was a problem with the waste traps in bathroom, as clearly when someone flush toilet elsewhere, the seal was lost in our bathroom, emitting a drain smell

Beautiful rooms - large, spacious with lovely touches and facilities. Excellent bathroom - with shower and bathtub. Lovely breakfast with a good selection of food. In the centre of Madrid, just off Gran Via, and next to a Metro station and the room was very quiet despite being on a busy road. Highly recommended.

Staff in the swimming area/bar not particularly responsive/helpful.

The rooftop swimming pool and restaurant are top class in Madrid. The rooms are plush and comfortable

Loved the central location We could walk to San Miguel Market and some great Tapas bars and restaurants

Think they need to supply daily water for this level of Hotel
