Hotel Intercontinental The O2, London

Everything was immaculate and 5 star service throughout. Rooms were amazing and the view was great. Direct route to the o2 arena and breakfast had a wide variety of options including Halal and Gluten Free.

That I couldn’t stay longer!

There was no book explaining where things are in the room, a printed menu and explanation of where things are in the hotel would be a lovely touch (I know it’s on the tv)

The Breakfast was great and exceeded my expectations. The room was spacious and the bathroom was neat and functional. The only low point about the room is that it was pretty dark. When you have to prepare yourself to attend an event, the best lightings options were lacking. Other than that, everything was fine in the room.

The greetings from the entrance was inexistent. I had crossed the city from LHR - 2 hours drive - and no one was at the door to unload my suitcases from the car. Absolutely non one! I had to enter the premises and ask for help to a lady and she came herself - the doorman being I don[t know where. Also, they had forgot the 2nd bathrobe in the room and I had to ask 3 times (they came up the next morning) to finally have someone bringing it to us. That wasn't a very pleasant experience either.

The room was a good size, the view was great, the bathroom was a decent size, the room was quiet and the temperature was perfect as often hotel rooms are too hot. The bed was comfy and I slept well. The staff were vey nice.

The check in process was a bit of a faff and could have been more efficient. I think £30 for breakfast is scandalous so I didn't eat breakfast in the hotel. Although I liked everything about the room and the hotel and the staff the cost of £280 for one night is eye watering but I guess it is the location that means it can command that kind of price. I only booked to stay in the hotel to be near the O2 as I was recovering from a broken leg so wanted to be near the venue. I wouldn't be in a rush to pay such a huge price for a room again. On that note, although the hotel is right next to the O2 it is worth pointing out that the entrance in to the venue from the hotel is literally diametrically opposite to the entrance to the entrance in to the concert venue so you have to walk all the way round the outskirts of the venue so if you have mobility issues then you may not actually find this that easy.

I like a lot of pillows. It would have been nice to have 1 or 2 spares in the wardrobe.

This is a first class hotel, lovely cheerful staff rooms very clean and restaurant first class service food really lovely all in all you will not go wrong staying at this great hotel.

The meal was excellent and our room was lovely Bonus was the tunnel into the O2

Didn’t like the walk from the station. Also because of the crowds after the show we couldn’t we didn’t know how to get to the tunnel so went outside with the flow of the crowd . Walked around the pavement to the hotel. ☹️

The price of parking. Was far too expensive for one night !

Came down to London for a concert at the o2. Location was very convenient to both venue and tube station. Would most likely reuse if we're ever to attend a concert at the o2 again.

Firmer pillows in the room would've been appreciated. No coffee cups left in room for the machine (didn't ask for some as we were getting ready to leave)

I liked the location next to the venue for live entertainment. Breakfast was plentiful and appreciated. Excellent shower and bath also.

Our room was very comfortable, there was a fantastic choice for breakfast and the location was perfect for your needs. All staff were very helpful and courteous.

Our ‘bedroom with a view’ was scaffolding with workmen on it, meaning curtains had to be closed.

Location was perfect for our concert at the O2 Arena, the room was spacious with a good sized bathroom and breakfast had a great selection of food. We also had room service which was of a good quality and delivered to our room in a reasonable time frame.

The breakfast was of good quality but some of the items were cold, so maybe have a system where you have to lift a cover off to get your items and that way everything stays hot. Just an extra pointer, if travelling from Kings Cross Station or any distance book an Uber, they are way cheaper than the Black Cabs. It cost us £53.00 by Black Cab from Kings Cross and when we were returning by Uber it was £22.98.
