Hotel Intercontinental The O2, London

Such an amazing hotel for when visiting the O2 for a concert. But I’d even come back just for a nice stay! Such lovely rooms, I loved the speakers in the bathroom! Beds were so comfortable! The staff were so kind and welcoming and the Bar on the top floor was absolutely incredible. There was an amazing woman DJ and the drinks, views and vibes were so good. Breakfast was also amazing and a huge selection!

SkyBar was excellent, if drinks a bit overpriced. Good free snacks. Lovely reception. O2 link was good.

Leaking toilet on arrival to room. Front desk swapped rooms speedily. Gave us an upgraded room, better view, but seemed smaller than our booked room.

Room service was amazing! The food was delicious. The staff was kind and attentive and helpful.

I do wish the policy to cancel breakfast due to busy times was flexible. We ended up ordering room service for breakfast but was unable to cancel the one included the night before. We had recieved a letter from hotel to say that breakfast in the dining area was going to be very busy

One of the best hotels in London. The facilities are amazing, the pool, spa, jacuzzi, sauna and steam rooms are 10/10. The rooms are very large and have great views all round. Room service came very quickly and the food was great. Breakfast was delicious with a huge variety. Staff are very friendly and professional. Second time I’ve stayed here and will be back again in the summer.

Afternoon Tea was not what we expected - it was an Asian afternoon tea but that was out fault for booking this and we didn't read properly. So we jus though it was the usual English afternoon tea

*Stayed Fri and Sat nights as had 2 concerts at the O2. *Perfect location once we found out where the direct access to the O2 from the hotel was. *Decent views of The O2 + River from 8th floor. *Massive bed which was comfy. *Asked for firmer pillows on Saturday and the ones we were given were suitably better. *Swimming pool/spa area really nice, staff came in and checked on people every 15 mins. Free lockers, towels, shoes, shower gel, wet bag for cozzie all very useful. *Security on lifts (scan room card then press your floor) was good especially as the public can use the pool/spa areas. *Check out of 12pm was nice so we didn't have to rush in the morning. *Staff generally polite and smiley. *Sky bar was nice, good views, we had cider/fizz/cocktails which were good although music a bit loud felt like a club rather than a high-class lounge/bar. *Lighting options, once we figured out how to use them were good especially in night mode. *WiFi was free and pretty decent of 60-70mbps. *Would we stay again? Yes 👍

*Hotel poorly signposted from Greenwich station. *Asked for turn down service Fri and Sat night, only happened on the Friday. *Pillows way too soft, felt like deflated sand bags. *Room cleaning did not attend until 5pm-ish Saturday and didn't knock just came straight in and we were in the room. They didn't take the 5 dirty glasses or replace them. *Booking.com advises a £100 refundable security deposit will be taken on arrival, however £200 was taken... Will keep an eye on how quickly it is returned. *A challenge to get a straw from the sky bar - both amusing and frustrating. *Room description says fridge but it's actually a minibar fridge so can't be used to store anything in (like real milk). *Chairs on the outside terrace are too deep and uncomfortable to sit on. Also told no food is served outside not sure why? *In our room curtains are too tight on the wall sides, so they don't actually meet/stay met in the middle so let's light through. There also seemed to be light coming through them in random places where there were holes. *Not many drawers in the room. There is room for a tallboy/chest of drawers of some kind.

The fact that they wanted £5 to access the 18th sky bar because they had a DJ in, when it’s advertised as sky bar I don’t except to pay entry when I’ve just paid over £400 for a nights stay

Have been there a couple of times and the staff are very friendly and helpful. It is also close to the venue the O2 where we were watching a concert.

The room was clean & tidy, the view from the room was great, the AC worked well and didn't make lots of noise at night, the bathroom was well-lit and styled for day and night lights. The cost, however, was high due to the type of hotel & the location, but worth it for ease and safety.

Location to O2 was 2 mins away. View from our room over river was amazing. Bathroom was gorgeous & breakfast was also amazing.

Wonderful staff. Lovely spa and the corridor to the o2 was such a bonus.

Only downside was no smart tv on the room. Couldn’t do the screen mirroring.

They amended the booking in-house as I was stressed- booking.com changed it at payment page after I clicked then refused to help. The staff were very helpful and kind. The rooms were outstanding for cleanliness and worth the five star rating also loved the complimentary lotions and potions- they had a sign saying you can purchase the products at reception, unfortunately I forgot to purchase some when I left... Will have to go back and stay again!

Not the fault of the hotel at all-but booking. Com changed the booking date on the payment page. Causing a lot of problems and anxiety for myself, especially as they refused to help. The staff were outstanding resolving this for me though.

I have stayed here many times when I attend concerts and 1. The staff are so nice, professional, welcoming. 2. The rooms and all hotel areas exceptionally clean. 3. Great pool, sauna, & I especially love the steam room. Everything is perfect

Very clean and easy for the 02. Love the products in the bathroom gives it that top edge luxury. Would love to have used the Spa but didn’t have time. Beds very comfortable

Hotel was lovely and clean. Staff were amazing and very friendly. Breakfast was exceptional. Highly recommend paying the tray charge to have it delivered to your room. The link to the O2 made accessing it very easy. We will definitely stay again the next time we visit the O2

Great location with lots of parking around, hotel was amazing, clean. Rooms were massive, clean, comfy and lovely view. The hotel has its own door to enter into the 02 which absolutely perfect.

Very nice hotel with lovely views

Good location, the staff were all so kind and helpful. The room was ready early and they let us check in as soon as we arrived saving us about 4 hours of time! The room was clean, comfortable bed and a lovely view.
