Park Villa Boutique Hostel, London

I was in 4-persons room, which is not that usuall in hostels like this one. Normally you sleep with 10 other people and it is much harder to fall asleep. Wifi was also reachable in the whole building.

The bathroom could be cleaner. Toilet seat in both bathrooms should be repaired because it kept falling down. And bed sheets could be also cleaner because i had lint on mine. Other than that everything was ok.

Welcoming and helpful staff. Clean, spacious and quiet room.

Nice place in an accessible location, near public transport connections. Friendly and welcoming staff and nice rooms.

It was very nice stay in 6-ladies dorm. The owners thought about details.. great are curtains on beds, chargers, lockable shortage under bed and also within bed space with shelf for important things. I recommend and would stay again.

The staff was really friendly, the house was very nice and the rooms were cosy. The kitchen had everything it needed. The location also very good and not too far from center (and very practical to go to Stansted Airport!) It was also nice to see people respected the silence rule after 22h. The lounge / living room was cosy.

The room was a little bit small, and the shower was pouring water very poorly. The only big "minus" was the heater just next to our bed and it was sooo hot and we could not regulate it at all.

At first I was placed on one bed and the mattress was very uncomfortable with springs, but later I changed the bank bed and it was much better

The shower was broken and leaked, poor water pressure, all the water flowed out at the base of the tap and practically did not reach the shower

Around the hostel there are many places to eat, many shops and many bus stops as well as a tube stop. They provide free padlocks as well as free power adapters.

I was on the top floor so whenever someone was walking you could definitely feel that someone is walking. The breakfast they offer it's not worth five pounds I will rather skip it.

Very clean, bed was already made, quiet (not a party hostel). Plenty of showers (never had to wait!). Staff was nice. Lots of public transport options within walking distance.

Quite easy to get into central London (30min) but very far from Heathrow airport (this reason alone will keep me from staying here again although the place is nice). Hard to charge my phone as the adaptor didn't fit in the locker. Having the locker directly next to the bed is not very comfortable.

The room was very clean and quite spacious for a dorm, equipped with hooks for jackets, scarves and towels and a small security box by the bed ( nothing of that kind in a more "luxurious" hostel in the area where I had stayed previously); the bathroom in the room was always clean and the shower very comfortable; the kitchen is well equipped in case you wanted to have breakfast, either provided by them ( at a very honest 3 GBP paid on the spot) or made by yourself. Hairdryers, towels, padlocks and adaptors were available at reception and promptly offered to me at check-in, in case I needed. Wifi signal was perfect at all times. Hostel not far from tube station of Mile End, which makes it easy to move around London. Bus stop right in front of hostel, which goes directly to Canary Wharf. A Co-op supermarket at a few minutes walk from the hostel.

It is such a pity that in a potentially lovely place, I found only one receptionist that was always smiling and truly welcoming ( the portuguese-speaking girl who checked me in). Refrigerators inside the kitchen need some good cleaning. Pillows very flat, not particularly comfortable. The location is still not the safest one in Whitechapel and definitely not the prettiest, compared to other areas nearby.

The hostel is clean and the location is great. The staff are all nice and accomodating especially Ali who gladly change my room to a more convenient one.

All staff are super friendly and helpful, very prompt check-in, location is great and close to most key tourist spots, good security for luggages with padlocks provided, worth to stay and I will come back again!

Nearby traffic made loud noises and the bed has stable mattress problems…The hot tub has drainage problems as well…but overall worth to stay!

Really safe hostel for solo female travellers. The vibe is easy-going and I always meet interesting people when I stay here. Kitchen is well-stocked and toilets and other shared spaces are cleaned regularly. Very close to the tube station and located in a calm neighbourhood. Would recommend!

Most staff are really helpful and friendly, but one of the women at the reception was quite clueless and unhelpful when I had to get my second booking processed. She didn't know how to process any of my cards, even though her colleague had processed my payment for the first booking just fine only two days apart. Had to go to the ATM and withdraw cash in the end, as she had no idea what to do, and she just sat there subtly placing the blame on me, without even bothering to seek a solution or help from other staff. Would have given my stay a higher rating, if not for this negative experience.

The staff is absolutely amazing and helped me a lot to solve some problems that I face in the city. The room was pretty comfortable for a hostel (silent, spacious and clean), the curtains in the bunkbed provided great privacy and cosiness, the closed shelves are very convenient and the cards to access the rooms makes me feel safer. That's not a party hostel, it's for people that look for a peaceful environment.

Unfortunately the shower in my room was not in a good shape (low water pressure and a blocked drain) so I used the other one on the hall

The hostel is located next to a bus stop and 5 min walk from the Mile End tube station (Zone2). The room is spacious and have curtain for privacy. Bed lamp and small locker with socket provided at each bed. The in-room bathroom is clean and handrub and soap is provided. Powerful shower with sustainable hot water. Equipped mini-kitchen for self-service.

Everything is good for the price in London.

Great location for All Points East Festival. Helpful staff and they have locks (offered for free which is rare) for lockers to store your belongings.

The staffs are friendly, breakfast at £3., clean, as promised there is a parking for my motorbike. Nice location, short distance to town. Welcoming with smiling face. Good WiFi. The locker to keep belongings is beautifully designed. And there is bottom cabinet too. Very nice

The staff were great, and the location is very handy so close to Mile End tube and some supermarkets, cafes and kebab places. The beds are nice enough, though some small issues (see below). I arrived late for 1 night and left early the next morning, and it worked well for that especially given the location.

The bed was mostly very good, with a combined plug and cupboard for keeping vaulables/charging phone at night, also with a hole for a cord to come out - nice touch. Good lockers provided too, with no nonsense fee for using a lock. However, the bed wasn't pushed against the wall, so there was the risk of things falling down the side onto others below! An easy fix. The bathroom was fine but cramped and in need of better tidying - not dirty, but needs clutter removed.
