beds breakfast f.o. personnel, very slow

The design and common areas are beautiful. That’s it.

Serious maintenance and safety issues. The room door repeatedly got stuck and I needed staff to open it or let me out. Strong paint fumes made it impossible to sleep. Bathroom was not clean (hairs present). Extremely loud mechanical noise from the toilet and also from the shower, not disclosed at check-in. Staff later confirmed they were aware of these issues but still assigned the room. Completely unacceptable for the price.

We stayed ~8 months ago, and unfortunately, we encountered some issues that we were surprised to find unresolved during our recent visit. One of the two elevators was out of service 8 months ago during our previous stay, We were surprosed to see that the Same elevator is still not working, ~8 months later! This often resulted in long wait times, which was quite inconvenient and frustrating. Additionally, on both of the mornings we stayed, our room was not cleaned at all. We had to call the Recepation and remind the staff to clean it which was rather disappointing. Given that the cost of staying is over $1000 a night, we did not expect this level of service. to point that they gave 50BP comp, which is nice, but not reflecting the cost or the expecation from this level of hotel.

The location was very good.

Everywhere was very dark including the restaurant. It was hard to read the menu. The lifts were very dark. Not enough bright lights in the room if needed.

Didn’t fix elevator for 7 days. Had to go up and down the stairs to the 4th floor

There is no soundproof and our room was in front of service rooms so you always hear slamming of doors at all times.

I love the edition buildings and designs

The house keeping service and there was no water kettle and i have to request the same thing everyday

The staff ! Frankie the bar manager is outstanding in terms of skills and friendliness, the tall guy with black hair is a role model for hospitality

The fact that you allow people into the breakfast room in sports clothes even coming sweaty right from sports. This completely inappropriate for a hotel your class

Couldn’t do enough to make me feel as comfortable as possible, was having surgery nearby and really went beyond the call of duty!

Beautiful property in the heart of central London. Boutique feel with larger hotel amenities including a great restaurant. Close to the Elisabeth line for easy transfers from Heathrow a definite plus.

I loved the location, the overall design, the staff, the atmosphere, and especially the E-Bidet/Shower Toilet/Japanese Toilet.

The price, the E-Bidet/Shower-Toilet/Japanese Toilet aren't available in all types of rooms (I need to get a high-tiered room to get it, which doesn't help the price), and it's not classified as a "Genius" hotel, so my booking.com discount isn't recognized by the hotel.

Cleanliness of bathroom: long black hairs on the ground, not sir the bathroom was used by previous guest or not. Lobby bar often full/ by external guests or guest of hotel?

No pool and spa

Location and staff were fantastic, looking forward to a weekend in London then no better location

Only issue was the lighting in the room, was far too dark in there and also thought the beds were a little small

There was a slight glitch when we first checked in. Bookings.com had conflicting information as to the room description. We booked a Deluxe Queen guest room. Bookings listed the size of the bed as King - turns out it was a Queen. The Editions hotel upgraded us to a king room - even though they did not have too. Fabulous service!!! Make sure you check all info with the hotel - don't rely on info received from Bookings.com.

Everything was fantastic! No complaints about anything!

Really lost its edge. Probably 4th time there. Room looking tatty. Holes /chips in corridor walls. Bar furniture tired. Bar service slow ( bar was not busy) . Uses the worlds noisiest suction system for toilet and shower so don't get up a for a 3 am pee or the whole of Oxford Street will know.There are much better places now for the cost. Makes me sad as it used to be great

Great atmosphere, friendly staff & fabulous food!

The lobby is amazing and very lively with lot of good vibes, the rooms are clean and modern, the location of the hotel is very convenient, the restaurant and the pub in the hotel are iconic.

lighting in the rooms are so dim. there is no difference in size or view between the king loft room and the deluxe king room despite the difference in the price.

Great location, easy to walk to everywhere. Staff were brilliant. Bed super comfy. Lovely size room. Very clean. Great bar in the hotel as well.

Location, ambience, decor, bar, staff, room, concierge, breakfast were everything we were looking for.

Room size was slightly smaller than compared with other hotels in similar location. Pillows were fresh but too soft.

i didn’t like our room at all it was pokey not like the room i had last time for the same rate . Room 129

The rooms inside were lovely. Staff were nice. Steak at Berner's Tavern nice. But not the best. Location ok-ish?

The staff as a whole were lovely and attentive, but perhaps not a huge amount of management to ensure everyone is on the same page and everything was running smoothly. A few details I picked up on - I asked for standard things like transfers to be booked which they were, but after I had to follow up as well as someone not assuring me of what time I needed to leave to be at Heathrow in time. felt quite nervous, and never actually met the concierge who was meant to be managing everything. (Traveling to NZ is a long way to go and needs lots of planning to make it as easy as possible). Also, I felt like it was a very corporate hotel and just a building full of rooms and bad paint jobs on the outside. To be fair I have stayed at some of the best hotels in London, so perhaps my standards are too high. But I would expect more of the Edition having stayed in their New York Hotel.
