Location, small boutique feel with special touches and delicious food

The hotel was superb, the room was fantastic, loved the honesty bar, it was quiet but in a well served area with bars and restaurants. Big shout out to the resident cat 😁

There are no negatives to this hotel whatsoever.

Very charismatic building. Tastefully and skilfully refurbished with many original historic features kept in order. Excellent breakfast. Very good bath tube! Very helpful and professional reception staff. Good location. Charming cat! We would definitely be pleased to stay there again.

Issues in the bathroom: 1) One of the taps on the bath was leaking. 2) Toilet seat was not held in place properly. 3) no door lock in the bathroom/toilet Issues in the room: TV with no working TV channels whatsoever (broken apparently) - luckily streaming from the phone worked, no door lock or bolt/security chain on the entrance door The cleaner knocked on the door in the morning long before checkout time despite the "do not disturb" sign displayed.

There should have been complimentary tea and coffee in the room.

I have stayed previously in Batty Langleys and wanted something nearby Hatton Garden, so chose the Rookery. The Rookery did not disappoint, the location, accommodation, staff and customer service were second to none. I will certainly be back

We absolutely adored the hotel, the decor, the history that is respected and celebrated, the room was beautiful and the staff were amazing and so enthusiastic about the hotel. The honesty bar is also a great touch and not something we have come across before.

No coffee making facilities in the room.

We have stayed several times before it is our favourite hotel in London it’s so beautiful so welcoming the staff are all so friendly and helpful the rooms so comfortable and the breakfast perfect we love Bagheera the cat it’s a little gem in London

All was great - room, location, price.

The front desk manager on April 27, 28 was scattered and a bit dismissive to my adult daughter and me. I've stayed at the Rookery many, many night over the last 5 years and always enjoyed the staff. So I wanted to let you know there is something that needs checking.

Very charming. Rooms are nicely furnished, and so is the lounge. Very kind and numerous staff.

It’s gorgeous. The facilities are amazing, staff super helpful and just a lovely stay. It’s so central too.

The breakfast was exceptional! The common areas and the room were cozy, beautiful, full with vintage furniture and paintings. It’s a great place to relax in the busy London.

The staff were lovely and polite and the crisp apples and teapot to make own tea with milk most thoughtful . Towels changed daily and appreciated being able to sleep in when jet lagged and exhausted

The bathtub with shower handle only is very difficult for anyone used to American showers to bathe in without help and even then entire floor left wet

I enjoyed a lovely, two-night stay at The Rookery. It's like staying in a living museum! I especially enjoyed the clawfoot tub, the antique furnishings, and the comfortable bed. The staff are quite welcoming and helpful as well.

Amazing and interesting. Staff are top notch. It's absolutely spotless everywhere. Drawback, maybe getting in and out of some baths in some rooms. Not all rooms have proper showers etc. However this minor and the staff will try their very best to ensure everything is perfect for you.

I think tea or coffee making facilities would be nice .

you have to shower in the bath tub, which is very British but it causes a lot of water

Unique place with incredible atmosphere. Located conveniently near tube station and not far from saint Pancras. Staff was really pleasant and I had overall a wonderful stay!
