Virgin Hotel, Las Vegas

The rooms were spacious and comfortable. Beds were comfortable. Lots of mirrors and space to get ready. Rooms were clean.

Protesters outside of hotel 24/7. A lot of restaurants in hotel were closed. Location is not the best, have to take a taxi/uber at least 10 minutes to get anywhere. The rooms ran hot - didn’t cool down very well.

Beautiful room & amenities

Check in took forever. Normally not one to complain about this but it took nearly 45 minutes in line, and the front desk employee made errors which delayed our check in further.

I loved how fancy and well decorated the hotel is, and I loved how modern the technology in the room is as well. I also had a great view of the Sphere from the room. The cleanliness of the hotel was top notch, so thank you to the hotel workers!

I just didn't like how far it was from the hustle and bustle of Las Vegas, where I find the real excitement to be. Going from the hotel to the Sphere and other attractions was a task.

Upgrade to Big spacious room. front desk on checking in was kind enough to allow before noon check in. But when i got to the room, everything looked clean except they forgot to take out the garbage and vacuum the room. Staff got it cleaned immediately however

Pet area had poop every where. The staff was on strike and we felt threatened on entering the premise. The workers on strike were directing their aggravations onto customers. Staff were not as attentive at the door or valet.

The breakfast was good, location and parking good with good customer service.

Right now I cannot think of anything. The rooms are very clean and smells good.

we need to call the hotel staff for cleaning everyday, or they will not do the cleaning. This is not reasonable and i think the cleaning should be done everyday without the customers to call the hotel staff to do this thing.

Beautiful unique and comfortable rooms. No smell of cigarettes smoke in the casino which is rare in Vegas.

The fridge in the room was not able to be used as was full of alcohol and due to the automated system we could not remove any products to place our own cold milk in the fridge. Need to reduce the amount of 'mini-bar' products to allow guests to use the fridge for own purposes.

Hotel completely met my expectations. Got a pretty good price (around $100/night). Has been recently remodeled. Room was large and well appointed. Wifi was great

Well, it is Vegas, but I don't like casinos (and their cigarette smoke). Noise of airplanes taking off from airport. Perhaps ask for room facing the pool (and not the airport).

Some problems with the level of customer service at main reception area. They should be more proactive with customer complains and accommodation.

The hotel is ok overall, rooms are clean and the location is alright as well. The swimming pool area is great - even though it was very crowded when we were there - and the fitness center is equipped with modern devices.

We did not have any robe or slippers in the room even though it was mentioned on the website, it was extremely cold both on the corridors and in the room and it was impossible to turn the ventilation off (it was very loud and kept on turning on and off in the middle of the night) and the only free of charge drinking water was a tiny bottle given for free or the water fountains available at the pool and fitness center.

The room in the Ruby tower were very nice! very large and very comfortable!

Food was adequate but nothing stood out. The steakhouse did stand out, but only because it was overpriced. We ordered the filet.. our friend ordered an 8 oz, which looked like a normal steak, but my husband and I ordered the 6 oz, as we weren’t that hungry. Which was a good thing because when it arrived it looked like our friend’s steak was cut in half horizontally and put on a plate. it was the only thing on the plate, other than a quarter of an onion and a sliver of garlic, both of which were cold. The steak tasted good, but not $58 dollar good, and the accompaniments were all a la carte.. so $360 for a mediocre meal (and of the 4 of us, I was the only one who ordered a drink!). A bit disappointing. Also it’s off strip, so it’s 20 minutes minimum to walk anywhere, and if you walk the road on the back side of the hotel, which we did by accident, it starts to look very unsafe. Good thing it wasn’t dark! It would be great if they had a shuttle running back and forth to the strip. Also we didn’t get to use the pool, but we walked around.. looked nice but we were told we had to pay to sit in the loungers. Ridiculous given the price of hotel rooms these days.

Lots of restaurants. Very clean, new and spacious rooms.

It’s a casino, in which people smoke a lot. When eating in the restaurants you could smell the cigarettes the whole time. Breakfast was not included. Breakfast in the restaurants was very expensive with long lines for coffee. You have to pay a mandatory additional fee for the hotel/casino, even if you don’t use the casino or pools.

The Pool was Amazing!! We came To celebrate our Anniversary the Two restaurants we went to were Excellent!! The staff were friendly and Efficient! We will come back!

The facility is clean and staff are great.

We booked a King room with strip view for our wedding anniversary and they gave us a room with 2 beds and no view at all!

Received a credit to use which was refused later at checkout. Manager had to step in to get it solved.

It was a nice, cosy, spacious room. We enjoyed the bathtub. The hotel is huge, we got lost at some point

Couldn’t find the teapot

Rooms are extremely clean and comfortable. Nicely appointed.

Wish there weee a mini fridge for bringing back food from the downstairs restaurant. Perhaps try a clean scent instead of a strange incense scent in the lobby.

The room could have been a bit cleaner. There was a used washcloth still hanging in the bathroom and the tub had a bit of a ring around the bottom.

we got an upgraded room which was surprising to us and it was fabulous- penthouse on 16th fl. with tons of space and floor to ceiling windows! Loved it!

The room was clean. Upper blanket had a hole.

It is not located on the strip. In the advertisement it showed the pool but alas, it is not for the hotel guests. The welcome drink requires you to buy another drink in order to get the free one. The free complimentary appetizer requires you to buy two dinner entrees. I think the resort tax is too much because it pays for the discount and all other “free” items. It may make sense for those who plans to avail the spa discount etc. but for travelers who just needs a place to sleep for the night the resort tax doesn’t make sense.

One of the newer hotel in Las Vegas with big and bright rooms. Nice pool area and everything is very clean.

AC is too cold on the floors and casino area.

Great hotel, with a good selection of restaurants and fantastic gym and facilities.

Our room was near to the lifts, which was very noisy. Had we have stayed for longer, we would have requested a room change.

Booking.com indicates that there is a fridge and coffee maker in the rooms. This is incorrect. There is a mini fridge with drinks inside however each item has sensors and if you even touch them, you are charged for them. If you would like the fridge emptied for your own use, it costs an extra $40. This is a nice hotel but it is hard to relax when you literally can't touch things without being charged.

We chose this hotel as it seemed more modern than other hotels in LV and indeed it has a nice design. The bed was really comfortable. The restaurants there were very nice and authentic which isn’t that obvious.

Everything there is extra paid, you cannot even use the fridge as it charges you for each opening. The pool was nice but crowded and there were no sunbeds in the shade at all

I loved the room, very spacious and clean. The pool is wonderful, amenities were good and convenience of food and restaurants at the hotel were great.

We stayed few times now at this hotel in the Ruby tower, each time we booked King Suite. We like the design of the rooms, we loved the bathroom.

Depending on who does the check in for you can get better or a worse room. The rooms usually have a connector door with the room next to you which we didn't know. In order to avoid this we booked a corner room and still had this connector room. I asked for a high floor and the lady at the Ruby tower reception said that the highest she has is 8th floor which was ok, but when we saw the connector door we asked to change the room. Than she suddenly said that she has one available at the 14th floor. Very disappointing on how this was handled.

I didn't have enough time to enjoy the property. I will definitely be checking out the restaurants and the property next time.

The hotel staff were very friendly and easy to talk to. The clerk placed us on the top floor of the hotel and it was so very quiet in that area. we were very relaxed and enjoyed playing with all the technology the room had to offer (Smart TV, Smart Lighting, USB ports everywhere). The room was very clean and comfortable. LOVED the pillows. We were there to see Howard Jones concert at this hotel, so figured we would stay there and it was worth it.

Only the Kitchen was open 24 hours, it would have been nice if it had one or two other late night eateries. When we left the concert at 11pm EVERYONE went to that restaurant for late night supper and it took over 90 minutes for us to get our meal.

Very well decorated rooms, i love the design of double bed. The room had big flat screen tv where you can connect your phone, change the degree of air conditioner and the lights. Rooms has smart technology for the lights where you can adjust from a monitor. Very well connected with the strip , takes 5 min uber ride to go there.

The floor was covered with carpet so it was hard to walk with the luggages. Also since the hotel is too big, we had to walk a lot to reach our room.

Clean rooms, very nice and kind cleaning staff and room service. Although the hotel wasn't cheap, we feel it had good value for money. The room was ok.

The room amenities were very minimal. No robes or slippers for example. The WiFi was very slow and the air conditioning in the room was turning-on by itself with no way to keep it off. The IT guy that came to help said it needed to be "reprogrammed" and he just disconnected the cooling abilities, meaning the air conditioning was still on and making noises but without any ability to cool, which might be worse.

The pool, nobu restaurant is amazing. I like the free parking, I will only stay at places that have free parking

Noise between rooms, you can see under the adjoining door, so of course sound will come through. There were also barking dogs from a guest, not a big fan of hotels that allow dogs. The Mexican restaurant shut down super early, it's over proced for what you get so it doesn't get enough customers to stay open. The lighting controls in the ruby suites is monkey, give me old fashion switches that work

Pool is open only from 9am to 7pm. For a hot place like Vegas that's just ridiculous.

The hotel is nice, the rooms are clean and comfortable. The location is awesome, if you want to stay out of the busy streets.

I had reserved two rooms, I got there and the reservation was only for one. They couldn’t find it the bookings reservations. Ended getting a room, which cost more than I had previously reserved.

Minimal free water around hotel despite Las Vegas heatwave. Location a bit too far from main strip to make it easily walkable, which wasn't clear in hotel literature.

The sewer smell coming out of the restroom made me give it a low rating because we had to shower with that smell and close the door after the restroom if not the whole room smelled like sewer

Stylish hotel and rooms. It's also well located and has a parking lot nearby which is convenient.

We arrived to the hotel around 3/4PM but the spas, pool were already nearing closing time. We couldn't use any of the amenities. The room also has sensors (?) I believe in the food/drinks/snacks in the room and if you happened to pick up any by mistaken, you're seemingly automatically charged for the items. There's a very small sign that indicates it but it would be wise for the hotel to make that clearer to guest.

We had a good stay at this hotel! The room was spacious, and the hotel staff at the reception desk were very helpful. The value for the price was excellent, and the hotel's proximity to the airport made our travel convenient. We appreciated the $50 credit they provided when they couldn't fulfill our booking request for a king-size bed.

When we checked in, we were welcomed by a moth in our room. While trying to catch it, we discovered a lot of dust on the lamps. The safe didn’t work, there were no channels on the TV, and Netflix didn’t work either. Planes were constantly flying over the hotel, making it difficult to sleep even with earplugs. The alarm clock next to the bed showed the wrong date. Additionally, we couldn’t believe that the water in the hotel pool was heated, despite the temperature being over 32 degrees Celsius. The pool was as hot as soup. However, there was a small shallow pool inside the main pool with slightly cooler water, where all the guests tried to squeeze in.
