Hotel is beautiful. Rooms are well decorated and have amazing woodwork. Bathrooms are lavish Rooms are very clean and well kept Staff is pleasant and helpful Location is ideal for any downtown activity

We always love to stay at Hotel Icon! It's close to the places we want to go for nightlife, drinks and food. I love the decor and the rooms are really big as compared to some other hotels. This is our single go to hotel when we go to downtown Houston.

The whirlpool tub in our room was super loud. I used the jets only once. I let the front desk know and they made a mote of it. Hopefully they can replace the motor so it can be quietly enjoyed.

Room wasnt as big as I thought. View was pretty good. Was not worth the price we paid.

Wanted more towels. Elevators were old and slow didnt get any hotel credit for downstairs resturant

The hotel was ABSOLUTELY beautiful! The bed was so comfortable, the staff was so nice and professional. I highly recommend staying here, and it will now be the only hotel I stay at when I'm in Houston for a show at Theater Under The Stars. It's within walking distance to a lot of different places to eat as well, with a pizza place literally across the way. 10/10

I loved the design of the hotel and the room, especially the room layout. Very nice size room, tub, shower, and sink.

However upon walking in the room it smelled like a toilet/toilet water just as it did in the lobby. As well as attention to detail being lacked when it came to the cleanliness of the room.

Very nice and spacious rooms. Friendly staff. Well decorated for the holidays.

Breakfast buffet was a bit underwhelming.

The hotel was really nice, very vintage. Neat architecture.

Showers had no bench for women or handicap. Buffet was overpriced, and the food was not very good. Bed was like sleeping on a rock, not comfortable.

The Icon is a true icon. A hotel with a real authentic atmosphere. The rooms are spacious. The staff mis super helpful.

The hotel is a little outdated. It could use a facelift, but must keep its feel and looks.

I love their bathtubs! I love the decor and the style of the rooms. I've had rooms with a regular deep tub and a jetted tub. BOTH are so wonderful I want to move in! I booked a city view room with a whirlpool tub for NYE. I cannot wait! I suggest hitting some of the bars on Market Square. Warren's is an old dive with exceptional martinis. The Dean's Easy Credit is upbeat and lively while Notsuoh (next door) is very laid back and have multiple floors. Hit the roof if you can!

We always stay at the Icon when we go downtown a fun evening. The rooms are beautiful, and my personal favorite is their bath tubs!! I'm ready for another good excuse to stay for a night downtown so I can experience this awesome hotel.

The ghost shut the elevator door on me

Breakfast was over priced, we paid around 60 dollars for the two of us. The eggs undercooked, and at that price I would like an option of maybe some turkey sausage or chicken sausage. Thanks.

Interesting old building, spacious room with spa bath. Great location and the bar is friendly in the evenings. Good buffet breakfast.
