Breakfast was fantastic! Not only was it delicious, but the quality was exceptional. Many of the ingredients were organic, like the granola, which was the best I've ever had. I was especially impressed by the Nordic nutrition supplements that were offered. Room is clean and spacious. Shampoo, body location are good quality.

When taking shower, water splashed out quite badly.

Loved our accommodation. Modern, clean and close to everything..

Breakfast staff were very pleasant and helpful and there was a personal touch to the breakfast. It was nice that coffee and tea were brought to the table in pots. We liked the big bowl of fruit salad and was kept topped up. Location - fairly central served well by the local frequent tram service to many parts of the city.

Air conditioner didn’t really cool the room down. But given it wasn’t really hot, it wasn’t so bad. I popped the window and it was fine.

We got an extraordinary good price incl breakfast (est 120 Euros/night), the location was perfect for both walking and using the tram to the city center and various museums and sights, good breakfast, spacy rooms, all personell servicemindet and cosy cafes near by. Would I be back? Definitely!

When asking for taxi to the airport (fixed price in Helsinki of 35 Euros) they could have told us upfront, that the 'taxi' which was ready was their own hotel car at 45 Euros. Extra price is normal for such car service - but we were not aware until the mercedes was holding out side.

We had a great time staying in the hotel Indigo. The hotel is very clean and has a nice modern style. Staff was really helpful and friendly. We were allowed to check in early which really made it easy for us just to head out to explore Helsinki. We absolutely loved the comfortable beds and the bathroom with roomy shower. We started our day with their breakfast of great variety. They offer a buffet and also ordered warm breakfast from a menu, so you'll be sure to find something you'll like. The breakfast was available until 11 am and late checkout at 12 suited us perfectly. We have absolutely nothing to complain about and hence we're happy to leave an honest high rate review for the hotel. Looking forward to stay here again!

The extras on offer for breakfast were on delivery a bit disappointing - lukewarm eggs benedict are not terribly exciting.

No ac which is understandable given it’s location (far north). However, the windows have restrictions on how wide you can open them which really does limit airflow. You can ask for a fan and you’re given a very small desk fan.

Could hear some kind of mechanical noise possibly extracter fan or central aircon unit at the end of floor 5 I was located on. It was irritating and slightly sleep disturbing.

Squat rack in gym, would have been superb! Little too basic for my strength training needs. Both most hotel gyms are. This is not a complaint, merely a preference.

I love sauna, and I was only able to have sauna once in my three days visit because of the opening hours. That was the only minus thing during my visit.

We truly enjoyed our stay in this hotel. Perfect location, super friendly staff, breakfast is exceptionally good, the room is spacious and clean and the food at their Brod restaurant is incredibly good! Hats off to the chef who serves only fresh products and excellent tasteful food. I genuinely and highly recommend this hotel. To the IHG Corporate, you must reward the team from Hotel Indigo Helsinki for bringing your brand an impeccable image.

The location was incredible! The staff were all so friendly as well. Room was cosy but well organised so it felt like you had plenty of room. Very clean room.

On my last day there was an unpleasant smell downstairs and in the lift on the right hand side. Smelt like sewage.

Clean and quiet, with all comforts provided. Very friendly staff, and the breakfast was great. The location is 15 mins from the main station, 10 mins from the harbor and easy to access with public transport. Would definitely recommend it.

During my recent travels and stays at many different hotels, this was my favorite. Our room was very spacious, comfortable and clean. We had no problems whatsoever and the staff was very helpful and accommodating. In addition, we felt the location was very good as we were able to walk to many different sites, restaurants, etc.

Our first morning we missed the included breakfast by 10 minutes. Totally our fault but it would have been nice if we could have just grabbed a croissant or something. Fortunately there was a wonderful bakery across the street. I can't think of any negatives and as I said earlier, this was our favorite hotel of our recent travels.

I loved the decor of the hotel, the cleanliness and the location. The location was better than I thought it would be. Beautiful street, close to everything. The comfort was enjoyable in my amazingly clean and bright designer room, I felt really good and it was hard to leave. I loved sitting in the comfy, huge lounge chair sipping coffee. I got to pick the room I wanted, with a view over Bulevardi. The windows are well soundproofed. Reception staff was amazing and nice. A special thank you to Barbara, the cleaning lady who was always smiling and nice. I would stay there again.

The ladies' slots for the sauna were only 2 hrs per day, I guess due to renovation, which I did not know about beforehand when I booked the hotel. For my part, 8 am (on weekends) is way too early in the morning when you are on a holiday, and 5 pm (weekdays) is the time when you are still out exploring the city. So that's why I missed the sauna and I was disappointed.

Nothing - I travelled around Europe for three weeks and this was the best room I had on the trip (price was similar to the others I stayed at).

I enjoyed the breakfast very much. There is a buffet breakfast, but some of the dishes are made to order. You can choose one dish from the menu, e.g. either omlet, poached eggs, pancakes, etc

Staff were welcoming on arrival, chatty and friendly. All staff were great.

We didn’t have a sign to put on the door saying do not disturb or make the room up. A small thing but we did have to answer the door a couple of times when the cleaner knocked on.

Always love it here! The Staff is the best 😊 The new breakfast including the buffet is very good! The coffee from Kaffa Roastary, yummy warm options, fruits, smoothie… everything for a good start into the day! Can’t wait to be back in September!!!

Can’t go wrong here as it’s in a great location - itself smart and tidy and next to a nice hotel with an authentic restaurant where we ate like royalty! Had breakfasts at the Ekberg 1852.

This was a great experience! I slept so comfortably that I had to ask in the reception what kind of bed it was! The breakfast was also fantastic, my 16-year old daughter and I really enjoyed it!
