Nice location, excellent staff, very clean and beautifully decorated.

Sounds were weird in the room, echoing a lot of small sounds from the corridor or next floor. Not enough lighting in the room. Breakfast is mainly cold staff, boiled eggs, croissants and yogurt.

Everything. The decor of entire property and rooms very well done. Staff, professional and helpful specially ladies in breakfast room wow, what a process to keep everything full. Speaking of breakfast, did not miss going to any restaurant, the morning was our highlight with the great quality food options and excellent coffee. Gym, spacious and well equipped. We'd stay here again on our next visit.

we asked for a quiet room during construction and they gave us a room through the courtyard in the back and it was very quiet and comfortable! front desk were helpful with suggestions on where to shop. the oatmeal at breakfast was delicious! !

I visit Helsinki a couple of times a year, and wanted to try out this hotel this time (in late March 2026). A very positive experience. The location is excellent, right at the heart of the city. Extremely friendly personnel at the reception. I loved the room! I'm not into the very understated Nordic design, so this hotel is, happily, different from many others in Helsinki. The room was lovely, with plenty of natural light, beautiful design and some color. Comfortable bed, and the room was perfectly clean. The bathroom had excellent lighting plus a heated bathroom floor which is fantastic in the winter. The room would be perfect if it had a little espresso maker or at least a kettle and instant coffee / tea bags. The basement gym was OK, with cardio machines, some dumbbells and plenty of space to work out. And gym towels plus free water bottles in the fridge.

The only thing I did not love was the breakfast. It was nice but not excellent. I'm not a big breakfast person but when in Finland, I would appreciate some traditional local sweets like pulla or korvapuusti. Also, I noted that there were no options for warm cooked breakfasts which I would not miss but my husband would. Even so, I had an excellent stay and would happily choose F6 again on a future visit to Finland.

I got two different rates as I booked one night through Booking. Com and one night directly with the hotel. A huge price difference where Booking was alot more expensive than going directly to the hotel. Not good experience.

The property was clean and trendy with a great vibe as well as secure and safe! The room was impeccably clean, comfortable, and the bathroom was amazing with the mood lights! The room was on first floor between courtyard and lobby and it was impressive how quiet it was! The breakfast was delicious and had a great selection! To note the front staff were so kind and helpful and made a short stay outstanding!

Additional floor mat to wipe feet when wet or muddy in main entry or in front of elevators is the only addition I would I would have liked!

A little tricky adjusting the a/c in the room but we got there in the end. I’m sure it’s a common problem in winter and not specifically a criticism of this hotel - but getting into the room with muddy boots without leaving wet gritty patches all over the floor might be minimised with a stool at the door to sit and remove boots - and hooks for wet coats.

They room was beautiful, we loved the furniture and were so comfortable. The breakfasts with Marimekko crockery were delicious, the location is great and most of all the staff were so helpful, especially when our luggage was lost briefly by the airline and I wanted to mail a parcel.

Breakfast buffet was extensive and a bit "out of the ordinary" (i.e. Finish specialties, healthy options - not just the usual stuff one gets in most 4* hotels), and staff was super friendly and helpful; besides, the location is perfect to explore Helsinki by foot and public transport)!

Excellent service! We arrived 7am in the morning and didn't expect the room to be available. So we dropped off our luggage and walked around town first. It was freezing cold so we went back to the hotel to get more clothes. To our surprise, the room was ready and our luggage was aready placed in our room. It was only around 10am! They also helped us book a nice restaurant on new year's eve where most places are either full or closed. Breakfast is also very nice.

Very tiny fitness center considering going outside to exercise is really difficult from November to March

Well located, friendly staff, very atmospheric and in line with the ‘nordic luxury’ theme. Close to the centre, we did not need the car in 2 days. A bonus was the available Rituals product line in the bathroom :-) … I felt really pampered. The kitchen in the breakfast area made it very cozy, you felt like you were in somebody’s house having breakfast - brilliant.

Expanding the common areas would be an improvement - perhaps into the inner patio? Although I am sure that it is done in summer - we were there in December and it would have been a bit cold to sit there.

Absolutely outstanding stay at Hotel F6, Helsinki Hands down the best breakfast experience of my life. Two wonderful ladies were preparing and presenting the food as if they were feeding a king. Every detail was thoughtful, beautifully designed, and made with so much care. And all of it came with the warmest, most genuine smiles. OMG! The quality, presentation, and atmosphere were next level. Hotel F6 truly understands hospitality. I will never forget this experience and cannot recommend it highly enough.

Room and Bathroom were a decent size. We had a courtyard room and loved it. The breakfast had a good choice and was delicious. Most of the staff were friendly and welcoming, especially on reception and the Friday night bar staff.

We thought one member of the bar staff on the Saturday evening was a little abrupt, but not enough to warrant a complaint or to put us off from staying again.

I stayed here on two separate occasions, and the experience was consistently excellent. The service quality and comfort were superb, and I truly loved my stay. Staff I regret not catching the name of one of the front desk staff members — a tall gentleman (around 1.8m+), wearing glasses and speaking excellent English. He was an absolute pleasure to interact with and exemplified outstanding service professionalism. A real asset to the team and someone with clear leadership potential. Room As a Singaporean traveller who is quite particular about accommodation standards, I can confidently say the room size and facilities were excellent. One small suggestion would be to add a bit more lighting in certain darker corners of the room — perhaps my ageing eyesight speaking — but overall, the room was very comfortable and well designed. I would gladly return again.

Area for Improvement (Suggestions) In-room power outlets Management may wish to consider adding USB charging ports (USB-C / USB-A) to the wall outlets. Most modern travel devices now charge via USB, and this small enhancement would greatly improve convenience and help future-proof the rooms. Similarly, multi-regional power sockets could be considered to complement the existing European plugs, which would be especially helpful for international guests. Breakfast variety for international guests With the increasing number of Asian visitors to Finland, it may be beneficial to include a small selection of warm Asian-style breakfast items. Simple options such as a light udon noodle soup or a basic Asian fried rice would already go a long way in catering to these guests and enhancing the overall breakfast experience. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would be happy to return again in the future. Thank you to the team for the warm hospitality.
