As a family-owned and operated hotel comprising 66 guest rooms, Hotel F6 is particularly friendly and inviting. Boasting a central location, this hotel is only a short walk from Esplanadi Park and the central business district. While staying here, you might run into Runar, the hotel dog.
Guests can choose from three rooms at Hotel F6: Standard, Superior, or Deluxe. Standard rooms are functional, yet fun and trendy. With 25 square meters of space, this room offers air-conditioning, WiFi, and an optional French balcony. The Superior Room is slightly larger, at 27 square meters, and includes a large and stylish bathroom, along with all the other amenities of the Standard room. With 45 square meters of space, an espresso machine, and a sitting area, the Deluxe room is by far the most luxurious.
The hotel has an onsite cocktail and wine bar, Runar, named after the dog. Breakfast is included in your stay, where you can enjoy organic eggs, homemade Karelian pies, pastries, yogurt, cold cuts, coffee, and herbs grown in the hotel’s greenhouse. As a bonus, Hotel F6 is committed to environmental sustainability by recycling and saving water whenever possible.

A perfectly located hotel for a very kind and comfortable stay.
The hotel is very centrally located and we loved the fact that we could just walk wherever we wanted to go to. Our remarkably spacious room was beautifully appointed and had a classy and warm feel to it. The shower was great - hot and very good pressure. The room was very dark for sleeping and we have a wonderful rest on the quality bed. Reception assisted in calling a taxi for an airport transfer - they were very friendly and efficient. I would certainly return to this hotel on any future trip to Helsinki.

Lovely, comfortable stay
Was in a room with 2 other relatives and all of us were happy with our stay. The beds were comfortable, room and bathroom were spacious, and the breakfast options were excellent. I’m lactose intolerant and there were plenty of lactose free options to select from (more than I’ve seen in molar 4 and even 5 star hotels) including lactose-free milk, soy milk and vegan yogurt. The staff were also super friendly and accommodating. Spoke English very well and gave excellent tips.
It’s not something I didn’t like, but it would be nice to have an overhead rainfall shower. We had a very spacious shower in the room we got, but the shower area just had a hand-held shower head which was a bit small.

The Perfect City get Away
Fantastic staff, extremely helpful and welcoming. The room was beautiful, clean and extremely comfortable, amazing bathroom facilities.....just lovely. The breakfast selection was so varied with an amazing selection, just fantastic. The position of F6 is perfect, the Tram stop is just down the end of the road, as is the beautiful harbour. The Sauna is 10mins away and the town centre is 10 mins with a wonderful walk through the park and the train station just15mins walk. A special thank you to F6 for the Birthday card and chocolate for my wife.

Comfortable stay and lovely rooms.. but breakfast and bar could be better
Lovely rooms with stained glass window in room. Very comfortable bed. Reception staff good. Decent location for getting to various sites and the waterfront
Would be good have more hot food choices at breakfast. Struggled to manoeuvre around the breakfast area.. Maybe move the breakfast selection into the bar area where there is more room for guests and staff to access the breakfast options?
Bar was closed both days for private events so had to go out searching in cold for a bar. When we did get in the bar, the music wasn't really conducive to a mixture of hotel guests of varying ages and other visitors.

Stylish whimsical hotel in beautiful area near everything.
Stylish. Great location. Elegant bathroom with heated floors and fluffy soft towels. Amazing bed and soft sheets. Fantastic breakfast with many choices. Comfortable temperature in room during the winter - not too hot. The front desk staff were all friendly and helpful. The bar and dj at night.

Everything! A+ staff, chic and clean decor, generous room size, heavenly bedding, incredible breakfast buffet, fun bar with BEST martinis, and location can’t be beat. My go to hotel when in Helsinki.

Really can’t beat the location. Hotel staff is top notch, pleasant and clean aesthetics, breakfast buffet is best in town. Top off your night with an espresso martini and you’ve conquered Helsinki. A++
