Hilton Hotel Strand, Helsinki

Breakfast had big variety especially in terms of organic food and healthy options. The kids loved the lounge. The reception was very helpful

Loved the hotel, the location, the inclusion of a family/executive lounge with our room and the standard of light breakfasts, appetisers and drinks with it, plus the gym, pool and sauna. A really beautiful hotel!

Only that the reception staff were very professional but equally not really friendly or welcoming. By contrast the housekeeping team were lovely!

The location is good. Great saunas and the swimming pool. All facilities worked properly.

The temperature in the room was not easy to regulate. If you make the room warmer, it takes hours to cool it down again. The breakfast was good. The dinner a la carte also, but Christmas dinner was very poor.

Good location, walking distance to major sites. Good size room with sofa bed for children.

Not a 5 star hotel. 3 star level with very basic facilities and amenities.

Restaurant has very little food options for dinner and closes early, with no other restaurants close by. A little bit annoying when you come from work meetings late. No fridge in the room for same reason, difficult to keep something for late snack

Great location. Only a 10 minute walk into the cbd or 5 minute tram ride. Tram and bus stop is 100m from the enterance. Great food from the restaurant in the lobby if you dont want to head far from your room.

Very friendly staff and the facilities were really beautiful.

The swimming pool was not so warm for winter.

The room is so dark, sometimes I would go to the toilet just so I turn on the light and hang out there so I don't get depressed.

Staffs there are very friendly, especially the staffs at the restaurant. The room is spacious and clean.

The hotel is old but in good shape , location was good and the Italian restaurant in Lobby was fantastic. All staff in front desk were friendly and high professional staff.

The heating system in the room is limited . I asked to warm the room but there is limitation in HVAC. The staff provide me by radiator movable electric heater

It was my first time staying in Helsinki, but I'm really glad I could stay at this hotel. The room was spacious, clean, and the sofa bed was of sufficient size. When I checked in and entered the room, I felt the hospitality with the floor heating in the bathroom. It was a very pleasant service for us Japanese to be able to use slippers if we requested them at the front desk. Additionally, the breakfast had a wide variety and was delicious. It was convenient to have a supermarket nearby, and we could easily reach the city center by tram. We have fallen in love with the city of Helsinki. Thank you.

The weather!

Wonderful service, helpful staff in every corner of the hotel, they try to meet all your expectations. Separate thanks to Food and Beverage manager, who showed her professional skills and organized every part of her work in a best manner. Excellent breakfast, very good sound insulation at the room - to have extremely comfort and quiet sleep. The place is perfect for stay while traveling to Helsinki.

We were surprised that we didn’t have bath-robes at our room. As we were informed we had to buy them for 20 euros. I think it is not level of Hilton, or any 5* hotel, to sell such essentials.
