GLO Hotel Art, Helsinki

What a great stay - a true representation of their motto 'a home away from home'. Modern and clean rooms, amazing service by ALL staff members ALL the time, nice amenities with a cute gym and hang-out yard... And don't even get me started about the food...just amazing... I literally avoided eating out because it was so great. I will definitely come back.

Honestly can't find anything I did not like.

I chose the hotel because it was within walkable distance to the central station and to the Björn Borg half marathon and that breakfast as well as “Fikka” and dinner was included in the price. I liked it that a vegetarian option was offered as well.
What I really appreciated was my breakfast bag which was given to me on Saturday - the day of the half marathon, and on Sunday because I had a really terrible early flight.

The hotel is located in the design district, about 1 km from the railway station. Included in the price was breakfast (as expected) which featured a selection of hot and cold options as well as tea and coffee. My wife particularly liked the bread choices. But wait, there's more: also included in the price is 'Fika' (tea/coffee and cake in the afternoon) and dinner (hot entree, salads, soup). There was also a still and sparkling water fountain available to use. Wine/beer was offered for a reasonable fee as was dessert. The hotel also has a gym (but we were lazy and didn't use it) and a lovely courtyard where you could have a picnic. Parking is available (for a fee) but we used Bolt and git about just fine.

The breakfast bread was excellent but we couldn't find a way to make it better by toasting it!

Central location. Lovely room. Great facilities. Fantastic to have half board and a Fika.

The breakfast offered an amazing variety of food, whereas dinner consisted of a single main course. The room was exceptionally clean, and I especially appreciated having an iron available in room.

The windows are unable to be opened.

A good place to stay in Helsinki. 10 minutes walk from the city centre.

The location was excellent, staff professional and happy and the breakfast and dinner included were great.

Wonderful hotel with great staff, amazing architectural interest and delicious meals. We’ve already rebooked for our return visit to Helsinki next month.

Friendly helpful staff, one of the best breakfasts we have found anywhere, spotlessly clean and comfotable bed. And the fika and dinner were an unxpected bonus in an unusual building with a story.

Not a thing.

Hotel is located near the harbour, as well to the city centre. You could walk everywhere.
Price included breakfast and dinner, but also fika! Rooms were clean and spaceous enough for playing with the kid. All the staff members we met were happy, open to help.
They were fast with fixing things and supporting with all the questions we had.
We have been discussing the experience for days now and we are more than happy that we choosed this hotel.

Windows could not been opened. However as our room was towards inner garden, where other quests could smoke, it was good that this smell did not come to our room. So i am not sure how bad thing it is. :D

Nice breakfast, spacious room, good shower, beautiful building.

No fridge in the room but that I knew so no problem. A small make up mirror in the bathroom would be nice.

Staff was super friendly, atmosphere and design was super cozy. The food was great and convenient.

The location is great, and the atmosphere is truly special, with a historical flair. The room was compact but very comfortable. The meals that were included (breakfast, afternoon snack - which we didn’t get to enjoy unfortunately, and dinner) make this accommodation a very good value for the price

You could see inside the shower cabin from the bedroom, which was a bit odd from an intimacy perspective.

Great hotel in a good location. The double bed was so comfortable and I loved the bathroom, especially the heated floor. The breakfast was also good.
