I adjusted the height of the shower head and as I did it the whole pole came out of the wall luckily I didn't get hurt by this happening but I was hurt by the attitude of the staff when I booked out and told them what had happened as I was getting ready to leave. They literally just shrugged there shoulders and went, 'well we'll have to get that fixed then'. I was only doing what I should be able to do - I'm 5' 2" inches tall and while I could just reach the shower head to lower it having a shower head at 6'2" doesn't work for me. An apology then would have been nice. I have had an apology from Motel One since but unfortunately what should have been sorted at the time but wasn't has left me feeling maybe won't be going there again.

Great location; such easy proximity to the station. Great staff; proactively helpful with information on getting around/where to go/how to get there. Clean, comfortable. Budget friendly. What more could you ask for?

Bar staff seemed more inclined to chat between themselves, glasses from previous customers stayed on the table for a while. Even though the bar wasn't busy!

Staff were lovely. Room very clean and nicely decorated.

No fridge. Coffee facilities could have been better- but that's not a big deal. No big light, my personal big bear with most hotel rooms.

Very nice modern hotel and good breakfast available. Very central spot and close to transport though can also walk to most places. Staff were lovely and there was 24/7 security.

Our room was a bit small for 2 large suitcases but this didn’t impact our stay too much. There are a lot of roadworks/construction going on directly outside however you couldn’t hear anything from inside the hotel and there was a lot of construction going on in Glasgow in general.

The public holiday may have made the breakfast service a bit slower than usual, but most things had run out half way through breakfast.

The room was nicely equipped and clean. The bed was extra comfortable. The staff were helpful and friendly. Love the lobby/ bar area, very warm and cozy and great to meet and chat with other travellers. The hotel is right outside the central train station, in the heart of the city.
